My friends wanted to go there again, so I figured I'd give it another shot. Nope. No more. I ordered the chicken breast with pineapple. The pineapples were great, hard to mess up. The chicken was rather flavorful, but over cooked and dry. My companion ordered the Rib Eye. It was very thick and appeared juicy, but had very little flavor. The thing about Puerto Vallarta is that there are a bazillion restaurants...a bazillion and 1...a crazy amount of eateries. Of all these restaurants, one can eat a meal costing less than $150 pesos, including a tip. The bill for two, with no alcohol at Carlota's was $800 pesos! Over the top for mediocre food.
