My friend and I came here while we were on a port day with royal Caribbean. We were given options for seats on the beach. We chose loungers that come with towels. However, you have to pay for those towels so I would suggest bringing your own. We ordered a few specialty cocktails which were delicious. I unfortunately forgot to take pics. We then shared the mixed fajitas. Perfect sizing for just a light snack before heading back to the boat. A few notes. This was tourist pricing. I'm sure there were other restaurants not as pricey. Went with friends on our last night in PV. So glad we picked Si Senor. The restaurant is multiple levels of outdoor and inside dining. We opted to eat outside under the trees. We were greeted by Lola the house bird. We ordered our drinks and guacamole. The margaritas are great with a table side shot of Patron. Our waiter made an excellent guacamole that was accompanied by a spicy salsa. I ordered the fajitas which were great. My wife loved her lobster enchiladas and others the steak platter and a shrimp dish. We finished with a flan. Great dining experience. read more

Off season, on a Friday at 1900, there was no wait and we had our pick of seating. The service was the best! The tequila added to my margaritas at the table was a nice touch. We had the shrimp fajitas (they added nopales for me upon request) and the chile relleno with shrimp. The shrimp was not over cooked and the chile relleno was the best we've ever had! It would be hard to find a more beautiful restaurant in Vallarta -- elegant multi-level patios, lush with huge native trees. And I should add, exceptional food. There is a sister Si Señor restaurant on the beach, and I have been to both, but this one (Si Señor Garden, 3 steets up the hill from the Malecon), is most charming and is my favorite. It's a memorable evening. Look for Lola, their large, long-time parrot that has the run of the restaurant. read more

Pretty Setting, Friendly Staff, but Overpriced We stopped into the garden location of Si Señor later in the evening. The space is charming, and while the famous macaw wasn't around, the hostess was carrying a tiny dog, which added a bit of character. The staff was friendly and welcoming. That said, the prices are very high compared to several excellent local spots nearby. The menu is huge, which can be a plus for some, but it feels more geared toward a touristy, cruise-ship crowd than those looking for authentic or great-value meals. Overall, not for us. Excellent location we sat out of the beach . 2 for 1 margaritas were fantastic , ceviche was fresh and delicious. Service was top notch . Great location to sit and people watch , watch the beach and enjoy some great food and drinks . As with anywhere in Mexico there are numerous vendors that came and went while we were there but none were very pushy and a polite no thank you was enough . I did however end up buying an acrylic painting from one of the vendors and I was super happy with it . read more

Used Si Senor as a drop off point for our taxi on the way to Mirador el Cerro de La Cruz. After hike came back for lunch. Was empty (likely due to rain) but staff was attentive, had excellent recommendations and even got to spend a bit of time with Lola (their 24 y/o mascot Macaw). Food came from above and so staff had to descend from above to deliver but was still hot, fresh, and delicious. Left full and relaxed. read more

I like the idea of the chairs beach side, but the chairs start sitting lower and lower. So I had to switch chairs. Our waiter took a while for everything. The margaritas were decent, just wish the maracuya could have had less seeds, way less seeds. I ordered ceviche which btw it's NOT ceviche it's a fresco and I wish the server would have pointed out. Their chilaquiles were good. Our server wasn't the best. Upon payment since we had to go search for him for the bill (he was just chilling talking with coworkers). He had the nerve of asking for more tip, he charged us for top shelve and didn't bother to ask which one. So I let him know just as rudely as he asked for more tip to be a better server by asking if which alcohol to get. The michelada was meh too. Save yourself from the rude staff. read more

My husband and I love trying new restaurants while we are in PV so this one was definitely on our list. We had a wonderful time at Si Senor garden last night, the red snapper and shrimp enchiladas were amazing! The staff were friendly and attentive and gave us the fully history of the restaurant and even let us feed Lola, the 25 year old macaw that lives on-site and is actually the boss! 4.5/5 stars!! We love this place. We have an annual tradition of eating at Si Senor because it is such a great experience. We go to the more authentic Garden restaurant above the Cathedral, not the more touristy location in the Romantic Zone. The staff and food are amazing. They are also conversant in English. We had the large sampler platter and the lobster enchiladas. The only issue we had was no AC and initially the sun was pretty high and hot. First off we were greeted by the beautiful Lola the Parrot she was sweet and we gave her pistachios from my mouth and she was super gentle. We ordered the Red Snapper fries and the lobster enchiladas. I will say I've eaten a lot of enchiladas in my day but these are by far the best for texture to sauce to the lobster itself. The Red Snapper was cooked to perfection and there was a lot of meat on the bone. Our server was Daniel and he was amazing, service is top notch. If you want some spicier salsa ask them!!!! Have to say worst meal I've had in MEXICO this trip... and that's saying something! Not only expensive... service was glacial but worst was the attempt to put blocks of dry cheese that had nothing to do with enchiladas rolled up in tortillas and then charge full price for carne ladas! Nothing melted or TexMex adjacent... We've been eating at the sister "Hill" restaurant and wouldn't think of missing our favorite meal on vacation... We had lunch here on a very hot and humid summer day. Seating offers a great view of the beach but no respite from the humidity. They did have a fan that they turned to blow on us which helped. I got calamari and my husband got tacos. Food was decent, service was good. Overall can't complain. The only annoying part is people keep walking by trying to sell you things while you're eating but I think that happens in almost every tourist part of Mexico. read more

We had a wonderful dinner here as a family! Walked around town on a busy Friday during the Easter holiday and stumbled upon a colorful sign leading up a stairway of welcoming, authentic Mexican tiles AND a real jungle bird! The papel picado was the cherry on top. From the margaritas to the Jalisco tequila to the made-at-your-table guacamole to every dish we had the pleasure of trying...nothing disappointed. Not to mention the stellar service, talented live Guitar player, and an adorable cat resident (in addition to the bird!) Delicious! We are so happy we had dinner here the last night we were in Sayulita. It was so close to where we were staying and very romantic. Girardo was our server and we couldn't be more impressed with his kindness and helpfulness. This is off the Malecon 3 blocks. It is a bit of a walk up the beautiful steps. But it is well with the walk. The garden area opens at 1800 (6 pm). We had the the quacamole, calamari, steak enchiladas. Everything was amazing. The chili relleno was the best I've ever had. The creamy corn sauce was so surprising and so good. The enchiladas were tender and the calamari was interesting with potatoes over banana leaf. The service was excellent The prices were really good and we were looking for something off the Malecon. The Garden location is wonderful! It's a block and a half from my house, up some stairs, and you're transported into a secret garden of sorts. They have a house maccaw that squawks regularly but it's kind of entertaining. The food is fantastic, the service is always on point. read more

Highly recommend this place in Punta Mita. We went to Si Señor one night during our five day stay at the Four Seasons Hotel. If you are staying in the neighboring area, I would highly recommend stopping by one night for dinner. If possible, make a reservation around sunset as the restaurant has beautiful oceanside views. After having had a number of tasty meals during our trip, this was probably one of the best--if not the best meal of our trip in Punta Mita. The spicy margarita is delicious, the seafood is all incredible and the service is perfection. At the beginning of the meal the staff comes out carrying the catch of the day, which includes a variety of fish (tuna, lobster, blue fish etc.). I ordered the Lobster Chile Relleno, which was so so good. The owner of Si Señor (Gustavo) goes around the restaurant greeting its customers, which is a nice touch. Needless to say, you can tell this place is very well managed. They also had live music which gave this restaurant that perfect Mexico vive/ambiance. Si Señor is a must do! read more

Awesome, awesome, awesome! Out of the blue, an Uber driver recommended this place. Service by Daniel and Cristian was impeccable. We ordered wonderful drinks. My sangria with limeade was refreshing and delicious. My friend loved her mango margarita that comes with the fruit's pulp. I only had the cheese fondue but my friend had lobster which she loved. The cappuccino is served in a glass mug. The green and red salsas that come with the chips weren't overly spicy. The cherry on top is Lola, the parrot who lives there. She's fed pistachios, sunflowers and almonds. Daniel will let you give her a pistachio from your mouth. Lola is gentle and doesn't even touch your lips when you give her the treat. Apparently Adrian, another waiter, plays the harp some evenings. Sí Señor! You must visit this place when in Puerto Vallarta. read more

If I could give this place SIX STARS, I would! The food was incredible, everyone from our 14 person party was blown away! So that pretty much tells you that everything on the menu was great. The food was authentic and fresh, really delicious and memorable. And on top of that they were so welcoming to our big family and all our kids, and did such a nice birthday song for my mom that she was in tears. Cannot recommend this place enough. After three lunch attempts before finding this restaurant that were failures due to places being closed on Tuesdays, we stumbled on this gem during a stopover in PV while on a 16 day cruise. Probably the BEST meal over the entire cruise! Awesome staff and incredible food!! For those cruising on Princess, they also accept Princess Medallion Pay. Win win!! read more

Good food. Excellent views. Prices WAY TOO HIGH and service slow and lacking. We came to watch the sunset and we're seated right away on Saturday night at 6:30 pm with a view of the beach. Took almost 20 minutes to get menus. Finally ordered margheritas and local water( as you CAN drink the water in PV. ) Ordered 1. Pulpo and 2. Cesar Salad ( prepared table side) for appetizers, 3. Molcahete Mixta and 4. Cochinita Pibril as entrees. 1.Pulpo - Very Good. - 4 stars 2. Drinks - good, but VERY EXPENSIVE at 180 pesos ( $10) each. 2. Cesar- problem begins. Salad was delivered without anchovies and wasn't prepared tableside. Waiter lied and said anchovies were in the salad. They weren't. Salad amazingly small for 240 pesos. Asked for manager ( Luis) who apologized and corrected the situation with a tableside presentation. Good Cesar, a little small for price,but not quite enough anchovy - 3 stars. Conchinillo Pibril - not as tender as I expected and not enough pickled onions. Good size portion. 3.5 stars. Molchahete- 4 stars. Very good. We were entitled to 10% discount and reminded the waiter of this. When bill came we were charged $10 for the local water ( since they poured it from bottles) and NO 10% discount. I got the discount but too tired to fight re: water. Service and Price gouging =1 star. read more
