Lea was incredibly kind, gracious, and easy to work with throughout the entire process. At one point, we even had to cancel because we were dealing with internet issues at the venue, and she was so understanding. Once we confirmed the event was back on, I reached back out and she made everything seamless. The food was AMAZING. Literally everyone came up to me during the event to say how good it was. People were going back for seconds and asking where the food was from. One of my favorite parts of the experience was getting to give Filipino food space in a corporate setting and seeing how well received it was. Hallelumpia absolutely delivered.

It was at a campground, and I had volunteers on hand to handle the service. I just needed the deliverables. Saul immediately started giving me advice and at first I thought he was "mijo-ing" me. I very quickly realized that his advice came from decades of running a family business. This man was solving all of my problems remotely because his intention was to give good service for a party he would not attend. The food was ready for pickup on time and the guests loved it. Saul provided us with everything we needed for service. Communication throughout the entire process was excellent with multiple follow ups while I was busy organizing an event. Again, kudos for guiding me through this process and removing stress from my plate. I also loved meeting his family. Both of his sons were extremely polite and thoughtful. Five days before the party, I informed John we were having 82 people. I asked how he would like me to get the deposit to him. He said he'd just collect all the money the day of the party and to "promise not to cancel" on him. I assured him I wouldn't...bad karma and too big a party to mess around. He was supposed to show up at 3 to start cooking and serve at 4 (guests were to arrive at 3:30). At 3:20 he still had not arrived so I began trying to get ahold of him. After many failed attempts, I decided to order pizza just after 4pm. Because of J&J not showing up, everybody ate much later than planned which interfered with the remaining planned events. I finally heard from John at 12:20am. He said he had a family emergency and, with everything going on, he forgot he had a gig at my house. Although he apologized, I find it inexcusable not to at least notify me. A serious business person takes their work seriously and sets alarms and reminders if need be. With all the meats, beans, rice, quesadillas, and fixin's laying around waiting for a party, how could he forget? This was the first time I depended on someone else to cook for our parties so that I could sit back and actually enjoy my kids and guests. Yeah, that idea backfired. Thank you, J&J Tacos and Catering.

Jerry and his wife Nidia arrived on time and all they needed was a table and for me to show them where to set up. The fact that they were self-sufficient was HUGE since I was running around playing hostess to my guests. They set up all on their own, cooked the food fresh, and were overly prepared to feed my guests. Jerry and Nidia were very professional and respectful, and my guests had SO many compliments about their food. I can also attest that the tacos were DELISH!! Jerry and Nidia stayed a good while and packaged and left me all the extra food....seriously food to last for DAYS!!
