Food is very good, with diverse menu, and the location is convenient to our house for a local restaurant. Good selection of drinks as well.

    Carnitas! Very tender and tasty!

IF YOU ARE FROM TEXAS, PREPARE TO BE CONFUSED AND DISAPPOINTED. Casa Manana was referred to me by a local and so despite leery yelp reviews we went anyway. They don't have queso, they offer "cheese sauce" and it was basically melted white velveeta, fairly bland and without much taste. The enchiladas were slathered with it. And the guacamole taco that came with my enchilada literally just had some kind of guac sauce and shredded cheese, that's it! The red sauce on one of the enchiladas was very different, and the small chicken chunks that filled the enchilada were unappetizing. The food was not repulsive, but it just wasn't good. I should have known better to expect Mexican food or TexMex in Little Rock that met my Texas sized expectations. Needless to say, I would not recommend you go to this particular Casa, mañana (or hoy)!

Very happy they were taking Precautions during COVID-19. It was a very good dining experience. The waiter wore a mask and gloves and the food was delicious they gave us lots of fresh hot chips and we had a couple margaritas that were perfectly blended. I would definitely recommend any buddy looking for a good Mexican food restaurant in the area to stop by!

Very disappointed, service was slow, salsa was a bit too watery, Rice and steak were old. Cheese dip was cold.

I really enjoys this place. The salsa is amazing and the kettle cooked chips are great. Paired with a strong margarita you can't go wrong.

The food was pretty bland. In desperate need of salt. The service was OK. I'm not impressed.

Good service, interesting food: can't say I've ever had anything like the Pollo Coyo and the Puntas Potosinas.

We'd barely been seated 2 minutes before our server approached. "Can I start you off with some…read moreCheese Dip?" he cheerfully asked. Melting Pot Cheese Dip ($9), a food I don't recall ever previously experiencing, is said to have been invented in Arkansas and is considered an important part of Arkansas food culture. It's Tex-Mex-adjacent but closer to some delicious version of Cheese Whiz than Queso Fundido. Strewn with a liberal application of jalapeños and served with a big basket of fresh tortilla chips, this is the best way to start any meal but certainly the only way to start a meal here. We followed with Fish Fry Tacos (2 for $16.50), equally fresh, unique, and satisfying and not the type of fish tacos for which San Diego is known. Accompanied by your choice of 2 sides, I loved the "Smashed Smoky Pinto Beans" and was transfixed by the fresh flavors found in the "Tomato, Cucumber, and Mint Salad". Heights Taco & Tamale features lively decor in a space that's a joy to dine in with food that makes things even better. Who knew that Arkansas had its own spin on Tex-Mex food? I'm now a rabid fan of Ark-Mex food.

I want so badly to like this place but they make it so hard…read more It's really close to the house but every time we go it's...meh. Last time my margarita didn't come until after the food. Server blamed the bartender. Bartender blamed the server, then said, "I'll speak to your server". Sugar, I don't want you to speak to my server. I just want you to mix my skinny Margarita in a glass with Tajin® on the rim- cuz Ima skinny little westside bitch- hand it to my server and send it my way. No speaking required. They have no carnitas. They have no machaca. And that tells you the whole story. I always get the Plato 47- but why? The plate looks beautiful, but visual joy doesn't carry you through. I take a couple of bites of taco, and it's just kind of bland. Same with the tamale- just not very tasty. Same with everything else, except the Margies. They are good. Let me tell you, it's a sad day when I leave more than half the food on the plate. Disclaimer: I do live in LA, and we know what Mexican food is supposed to taste like, but the food here is only photo-perfect. Did ICE carry all your Mexicans away or what? Oh yeah, BTW: #FuckICE #ChingaTuMaga
