IF YOU ARE FROM TEXAS, PREPARE TO BE CONFUSED AND DISAPPOINTED. Casa Manana was referred to me by a local and so despite leery yelp reviews we went anyway. They don't have queso, they offer "cheese sauce" and it was basically melted white velveeta, fairly bland and without much taste. The enchiladas were slathered with it. And the guacamole taco that came with my enchilada literally just had some kind of guac sauce and shredded cheese, that's it! The red sauce on one of the enchiladas was very different, and the small chicken chunks that filled the enchilada were unappetizing. The food was not repulsive, but it just wasn't good. I should have known better to expect Mexican food or TexMex in Little Rock that met my Texas sized expectations. Needless to say, I would not recommend you go to this particular Casa, mañana (or hoy)! read more

I have come to really enjoy Casa Manana West, after going this summer and enjoying their covered outdoor dining. Their food is good and pricing reasonable. I find their staff much more accommodating than the the other restaurant in the Heights. My meal of preference is the Casa Manan burrito. ALEX is a wonderful server, and very cordial. read more

Very happy they were taking Precautions during COVID-19. It was a very good dining experience. The waiter wore a mask and gloves and the food was delicious they gave us lots of fresh hot chips and we had a couple margaritas that were perfectly blended. Been to this place three times now. First time was a good experience overall, except for the salsa. It has absolutely no flavor or even heat. No salt, no cumin, no garlic, no cilantro. Nothing. Just bland puréed tomato basically. However, the steak burrito we had excellent and the service was acceptable. So, we ventured back. Second time we tried new things and were disappointed. Again lacking flavor. Third time, tried new things again and was again disappointed. Fajitas were below average. Each time the salsa was flavorless. Two stars for decent service. This place is in desperate need of someone to spice up their dishes P.S. People Seem to be confusing the guac with the Avocado sauce, which seems like a purée, they frequently use on their dishes. We called in a double order of fajitas to pick up and take home. It was ready when we arrived, well-packed, and stayed hot for our 20 minute ride home. Everything was good except one thing. The crab soup was not at all what I expected. It maybe was a Mexican version of crab soup that I've never had before--a thin red broth in one container and about a half cup of (I think immitation Krab) meat in another container. I guessed the 2 should be combined when ready to eat it so that's what I did. I did not like it. I also would have liked the option of milder spice. If you like hot food, you'll like this. read more

I've always loved this place and the owners are super great people. My favorite go to fish is pollo coyo. My son loves the kids chicken pieces. Cheese dip is good, however the chips are thicker and harder than most places. read more

This is one of our favorite Mexican restaurants in the Little Rock area. They offer tex-mex as well as authentic Mexican dishes. Service is fast and friendly, keeping waters filled but not being intrusive. There's also an outdoor seating area that is great during nice weather. Their margaritas are excellent and we have not found a single dish that we have not enjoyed! Hubby likes to try every Mexican restaurant's chile rellenos and theirs got his positive review. If I had to critique any one thing it would be their parking situation. They do have parking spaces in front of and beside the building but getting in and out can be tricky as the location is on a pretty busy street. Not enough of an issue to stay away though! read more

Live in the area and absolutely love the location of the casa manana in the heights so we thought we would give this a try. My parents were in town visiting and we had decided to go here. Worst mistake ever! Food was terrible as well as the wait staff. My girlfriends taco meat was undercooked and pink and the waiter made no attempt to correct the situation. We moved here after 25 yrs. in Southern Calif. and after trying most so called "mexican" restaurants in Little Rock, we actually found one just a mile away. The owner, also from Southern Calif., moved here the same year we did. We love the owners and their dishes. Before the corona virus insanity, we would go here 2 and 3 times a month. They have the best chips in town, all freshly made daily and the green sauce AAA +. We like the spicy foods, the Tostadas, Huevos Rancheros. In 26 yrs of patronage, I don't ever recall a bad meal. My only complaint is that while the Chile Relleno dish is outstanding, the chile peppers they use are too small. I walk away hungry still if I don't tack on a couple more. We prefer the large ones you find in the grocery. We can say nothing about the service issue at the Kavanaugh location, we haven't been there in 17 years. The Hwy 10 Store is great! Omg terrible! I've heard great things so I tried this place out and it was a dead zone with one customers.. We sat on the patio, which was nice(but next to the stinky dumpster I smelt due to the fan blowing) and a guy named "urbano" was our waiter. He was in a rush and a lil irritated when we asked questions about the lunch menu. I ordered chicken fajitas and they were the worst fajitas I've had ever! They literally tasted like Chinese food in a sweet ketchup sauce..(they had red and yellow bell peppers on them). The sides were beans, rice(which was a lil crunchy) w/ pico (tasted weird& old, about one tablespoon worth), loooots of sour cream & the WORST guacamole I've ever had (and I'm usually a guacamole lover. Literally, the guacamole was so bright green and watery like a puree! Def wasn't authentic! They gave about a tablespoon worth of guacamole too.) when he brought out the chips, cheese dip and salsa ,I wasn't Impressed either. The cheese dip was $5 and delicious but the portion was so dam tiny. The chips where def over cooked and brown..most were crunched and broken. The salsa(tiny portion) was tasteless!. When we complained and asked for the manager, he said he WAS the manager(his badge def didn't say that) and that the restaurant was known for brown chips . He was quick with smart alec rebuttals and just brushed us off. I'll never ever EVER go back to this place. As an out-of-towner, I was originally trying to locate La Palapa due to the excellent reviews it has received, and not to mention my need for Mexican food no matter where I am. Upon further investigation I realized that what was once called La Palapa must now be re-named Casa Manana. It does NOT disappoint!! My boyfriend got the fish tacos and I had fajita steak salad, along with a medium order of white queso as an appetizer. Let me say one thing, I've done my research on Mexican food and this salsa was jalapeño-rific...chips are thick and crunchy but somehow melt delectably in your mouth when combined with the steaming hot white queso. Prices were absolutely reasonable and I would recommend this little spot to anyone passing through Little Rock. **side note-don't be hesitant due to the outside facade of this place...from what I understand it used to be a gas station, but they've made this thing amazing!!!!!
