Craving shrimp boil during our visit to Little Rock, we were on the hunt for a good restaurant in the area and found The Mighty Crab... and we definitely did not leave dissatisfied! Pulling into the parking lot, we noticed that the parking lot had at least eight cars, leading us to believe that this restaurant was popular with the locals. Upon walking in, we were quickly seated by a host and shortly greeted by our server, Tylia, who promptly took our order and was just as prompt, if not quicker, with the delivery of our bags of shrimp boil! I ordered a custom bag of half a pound of shrimp with heads and sausage, which came with potatoes and a corn cob. My associates ordered the same, but with snow crab legs. It was all piping hot and delicious. I only left sausages in my bag, but only because couldn't eat any more! Tylia was very responsive to our needs, often checking in with us to ensure we were well taken care of. This also prompted us to order additional items, like bread sticks and a cheese cake! Went here a few days ago and got the weekend special. The flavor was the single thing that saved this whole meal. Not sure if the lobster tail and crab legs weren't cooked properly but compared to any other seafood experience I've ever had in the same price it was the first, I spent more time trying to get the meat out of the shells than i should've. When a customer has a complaint it is the responsibility of the manager/employee to listen to the customer...not get defensive and get an attitude. Last night I receive the WORST service ever at this location. The waitress was rude and had a terrible attitude. I was telling her that I did not receive my drink and how it has happened EVERY time I eat at this location. She instantly got an attitude and let me know it is one of her and many of us. The audacity! We ended up exchanging words. When the bartender brought my drink she unnecessarily came back over and had more to say...so I told her to get away from me (which she did not) and then I proceeded to curse her rude self out. A manager NEVER came over to see what was going on or anything. Later as our party was leaving he sided with the waitress and said there was ALWAYS an issue when we come in. That is a lie! Reading the reviews on here and google, I was skeptical, but my experience was great. We came on a Friday around 6pm. The place is so big, so it wasn't that busy yet. We were seated immediately. I opted for half pound of crawfish and snow crab each. The half pound of snow crab is $18. It came with 1.5 clusters. It was plenty for me! I got it with a medium spice level, and if you can eat spicy, then this would just be mild. I would go up a spice level. The flavors were really good and very salty. If you're sensitive to salt, the mighty seasoning may not be the one for you. I love salt, so it was great. I like to break up the potatoes and let them sit in the sauce to soak it up while I eat the other things. It came with 2 huge potatoes! The crab legs were steamed perfectly and not overdone. I really enjoyed it. If you're a fan of good southern sweet tea, then get the tea here. It's super sweet, and idk why, but I just love drinking sweet tea when I'm eating really salty foods. Early dinner with some friends. I've never been to one of these but came on suggestion. Plenty of parking and easy to find. I just ordered the fried tilapia basket. My friends went with the more popular Get Your Hands Dirty option. That means selecting which items you want (by weight) and the spices you like. Everything is cooked up and then brought to you all mixed together in a plastic bag. Their food looked and smelled good...but too much for me to eat. I stopped by and was very surprised at the prices they charge. The mussels I had were very good the service outstanding and I got to eat with my gloved hands. I've been to the other location, so I was expecting the same quality of food and service. The server, Jasmine, was very nice, and she took care of us. However, the food was half and half. I ordered a shrimp basket and the shrimp was cooked golden brown and tasted very good. But when it came to the catfish, that was something else. You could tell it was cooked in old grease because it was very dark and two of my friends had the same thing and we all said it had the same taste in common: SALTY!! Omg it was extremely salty as soon as you bite into it. Someone who has blood pressure issues would definitely be in trouble if they ate that. There was a white, older lady with glasses (who claimed she was the manager) that came and told one of my friends that she could not give her a refund and she could not pick something else off of the menu, but the only thing she could do was have the same exact thing remade. That was very sketchy to me, because any restaurant that I have gone to, if someone isn't satisfied with what they ordered, they are typically offered either a refund or a selection of some thing else on the menu. So, when our server came back, I asked her if that was true, that my friend could only get the same exact thing remade, and she said that was not true. The lady claimed she was the manager and we didn't get her name but I feel that was very poor customer service for the hospitality industry. To be told that you cannot have a refund for something that was not prepared to your liking is not something I would imagine anybody wants to hear. I would be very upset If I am basically being told that my hard earned money is not going to be given back to me. One of my other friends also had to ask for her crab to be replaced because the crab she had was old and you could visibly see it. Overall, I don't know if I would go back to this location. I went to the location on University and had no issues with the food nor service. If you do, choose to go here, please take into consideration that this particular lady is not willing to replace an item or refund you your money if it is not prepared properly and this is no fault of your own. read more

It was pretty good, not great. My crab didn't crack like the shell was soggy or something. They use frozen crawfish not live. I understand there is a shortage in Louisiana but it was just ok. Being from the gulf coast, I am very hard to satisfy when it comes to seafood. I tried the seafood boil (crab legs, lobster, shrimp, sausage, potatoes, and corn). If your looking for a Cajun boil, this is the place to go in Little Rock. Opened 1 month ago so I believe they are still acquiring their liquor license and alcoholic beverages. My wife and I got the crab legs, headless shrimp, crawfish with Garlic butter and Hot Cajun boil. It was incredible, Tiana was our server and we are that annoying couple that need 274628 sauces and refills but she was already bringing stuff out without being asked. The crab legs were decent. The Clam Chowder was HORRIBLE!! I spoke to the server who talked to the manager to tell her how thin and watery the chowder was and how stale the crackers were. The manager DID NOT speak to me but told the server restaurants "do not take the price of a food item off the bill because a customer does like the food." Eventually she deducted 10% from the chowder, 60 cents on a $5.99 item. Our bill was over $65.00. It would have been higher had they served alcoholic beverages. We were very pleased at the great service and amazing food! Had doubts about it from all the negative comments on here but we have nothing but good things to say about this place! Awesome atmosphere. Good decor. Smelled amazing. Would have loved to tried it, but that's where things went wrong. When my family and I entered the restaurant the hostess was too busy talking with one of the waitresses who was playing on their phone. When we asked if we seated ourselves or waited the waitress put her finger up. So we waited. Once the hostess sat us at our table we looked over the menu. The waitress never came to take our order even though there was only a handful of tables already eating in the restaurant. Very disappointing because my family and I would have likely spent several hundred dollars.
