But we still had packages that had already been ordered and/or delivered. Marshall and his team were very kind and patient to send photos of what arrived and then print labels and get things sent back out to Amazon/FedEx to return items for us.     FRAUDULENT PEOPLE!…read more We live next door to this building in condos, and they have received misdelivered packages for our building, even being photographed in their mailroom. They refused to give them to us, even though they are addressed to us and obviously misdelivered. Then they say "oh we don't have them" despite photographed evidence. Next is "oh we can't find them". They claimed to have sent them back, although we went to them the very next morning. Asking how did they send them back, they stated with a driver. This being with me going to when their package room opened for business hours, and no delivery came yet, and the delivery in question happened the night before right as they were closing. So did Santa come and get them overnight? Especially when I see several boxes marked RTS right there? Obviously very shady management and company. Not good people at all. Not even good neighbors. Probably keeping packages for themselves.

This is one of the highest rated apartment properties in the area, and I can attest to all the amazing reviews here and on Google. When I initially scouted the property, I had the following key factors in mind: 1) Safety and security of the building, 2) proximity to work and attractions, and 3) reputation and responsiveness of the management company/staff. Rincon Green exceeded in all three. Rincon Green was the only property I researched that had a gated front entrance and park space, which is great for privacy and relaxation. This also naturally doubles as a deterrent for strangers and passerby's. The property is always well-managed, clean, and in running order. I've never once felt unsafe, lost a package, or run into any unpleasant surprises. Rincon Hill is located right next to a slew of company offices, the financial district, Chinatown, the Embarcadero, and much more. I lucked out with my office being a 15 minute walk away, and could easily run along the Embarcadero after work or on the weekends. While the Bay bridge is right outside my unit, I've never had any noise issues as the walls/windows are very well insulated. Last but certainly not least, Rincon Green has an outstanding management team. I worked with Alexandria (Allie) and Roy when signing my lease, and they were extremely patient answering all my questions, and making sure my moving experience was as smooth as possible. James at the front desk is just amazing and has on numerous occasions gone above and beyond to help me; I always look forward to stopping by to catch up. Now that I'm moving away from SF, I'll absolutely miss everything Rincon Green has to offer, and it's a bittersweet goodbye to the amazing people that work here.

He was super friendly, transparent and candid through the entire process- even made move in day a little easier. Actually just saw a picture of the units on the yelp page and they look pretty representative. The gym is clean and not packed even during peak hours which is nice. Haven't had any issues with appliances or paying rent. One thing I'd like to figure out is if they take BILT credit card for rent payments but I think last I checked the leasing office said no.

Consequently, you can hear various sounds between floors, such as your neighbors' footsteps, the dropping of even small or light objects, and even children crying or having louder conversations. I've never lived in a building where you can hear a television between floors. Unfortunately, this is not an exaggeration and can be disruptive to anyone who needs or enjoys studying, reading, watching movies, sleeping, or concentrating on anything. Making things even worse, residents are permitted to engage in the manufacturing aspects of their micro businesses from their apartments. Including activities such as hammering, scraping, and pounding all hours of the day and night. And if you're thinking this is a one-off, and this wouldn't happen to you, think again! This is my second apartment in the same building where my neighbor was allowed to make pounding and hammering noises at all hours of the day or night, including quiet hours. I paid extra to move from one noisy neighbor and ended up next to an even worse neighbor, most likely running a side-hustle out of their apartment. You can read every other review I've written about a company, and you'll notice that they're all overwhelmingly positive. I used to feel guilty about potentially negatively impacting any business's bottom line, but this experience is too significant for me to keep to myself. I want to share it so that others can avoid the stress and frustration that comes with living at this property. A few months ago, I had the idea that perhaps the noises weren't being addressed because I had left a negative but honest review of my experience here. So, I revised my review to only highlight the positive aspects of the building. Surprisingly, nothing changed. My neighbor above me is still allowed to pound, sometimes hammer, and scrape on their floor, my ceiling, at any time of the day or night, including quiet hours. The final straw was that my last two emails to management requesting relief were never even returned. The general manager here is not a serious person. She's not professional, and since she also lacks empathy, she's feckless. Despite the building's appealing appearance, the absence of soundproofing and the management's refusal to enforce Implied Quiet Enjoyment for every California lease are significant issues that cannot be overlooked. My experience at Avery 450 is undoubtedly the worst housing experience I've ever had. Everything aside, I would like to say that the concierge team is incredibly helpful and always friendly. Gary, Thank You for going above and beyond everyday for us!!! Without asking, packages are available for pick up, important messages are relayed, and residents are fully taken care of! Personalities radiate throughout the 4 buildings. Located in the Rincon Hill neighborhood of San Francisco, and walking distance to the Embarcadero w/ views of the Bay Bridge, The Infinity makes home feel that much better.

If you're looking to live there, here's the lowdown on the units: Units A and B are North and N-East facing, C&D are East and SE facing, and E is south-facing. Views go from city views to water to south or ballpark views. Units F-H are West facing from FiDi to south west facing. The higher floors are basically corner units with one or two duplexes (A & E). If you're looking to buy, think about whether you want the sun as it rises or sets, and if you prefer views of the hills of I want to say Twin Peaks, the water views, Ball Park, or some part of the Bay Bridge. One plus is that w the Bay bridge Lightshow and Infinity situated north of it, the show is great. On New Year's eve, you get front row seats at the fireworks too. There's a mix of people living there, ranging from bachelors to young couples, young families and more and more empty nesters living in their dream city home. events have been catering to all of the above so can be a home to grow into. I like the fact it's not a valet building and you get a deeded spot, which some people rent out. The downside is that there are very few parking spots o the street that are not metered. Makes visitors not want to come. Overall, if there's an issue the office will do their best to address it. In the next few years, I hear Folsom will be a Blvd with more shops from 2nd ST to the water...I think that's great news!

    First time for any sort of interaction with Ritz-Carlton brand. Found it to be discreetly refined,…read morenot overly extravagant or gaudy. Very much enjoyed it, though difficult to imagine spending this much consistently. My wife and I have been Marriott Vacation Club owners for 20+ years, and somehow I missed when Ritz-Carlton Club became an option for points usage more than 10 years ago. There are five of them across the U.S. So when I noticed that a 1 BR/1.5 BA 1,400 sq.ft. unit was available in the financial district of San Francisco on a Monday, Tuesday in June for 450 points each night, decided to plan a road trip around that. We drove into downtown SF a little earlier than anticipated, and was grateful that the apartment was ready. We had such personalized attention from Travis, who checked us in, giving us the lay of the land. There are fresh cookies of different flavors available, and we took advantage of it on both days. We had come earlier in the week, so the organized activities set for later in the week were not available to us. But we made sure to follow his suggestion to check out the lounge, where you can get fresh coffee products 24 hours (though it wasn't functional for part of our stay). There are three elevators with keycard limited access for the dwelling floors. It's a bit complicated on purpose, to make sure that club guests could not access the more permanent residences: only one elevator is meant to be used by guests. This became a problem in our first night when it stopped working. The concierge and valet helped to make the other elevator usable for us, but for a bit, we were stuck on the lounge floor, requiring a phone call to downstairs for help. The apartment was beautiful inside. It has a full kitchen, with complete set of kitchen accessories, an induction stove, and a full size refrigerator with two bottles of complementary filtered water. Four oz bags of Tico Coffee roasters ground coffee (Santa Maria de Dota normally retail priced at $22 for a twelve ounce bag; another decaf) were offered for our stay. The in-unit washer and dryer was useful even for a 2 night stay, with the dryer being ventless. There was a half bath just outside the main entranceway, with a full bath (walk-in shower, tub, and double sink vanity). The BR had a true king size bed, flat screen with plenty of cable channels. There was no true desk in the unit, but could use the dining table. WiFi worked well throughout the apartment. I had a chance to use the fitness center, a two story room accessible via the shared mezzanine level. The 2nd floor is dedicated to cardio equipment, with disfecting wipes, cold towels, and bottled water all available. It also had a small room in the back for yoga and stretching with newer mats to use. The 3rd floor is for weight: both free weights and machines. It was empty while I was in there during the day. It's surprising what feature can make a stay great. I really loved the huge, deep soaking tub that I used twice during our stay. My wife was obsessed over the Tivoli audio bluetooth AM/FM radio that came with the bedroom, and played her Spotify account. I combined the two and listened to the 70's channel while soaking...have to admit, it made everything even better. Parking is extremely limited and very expensive in the area. So it was a big plus that it is included as part of the rental. It is intentionally hard to find, so the clear instruction email from a concierge before the trip was greatly appreciated. It is mandatory valet, and there is a text system where you can request your car and track its status (though for us, it never left the 'getting car' status). Didn't matter since when we got down there 5 minutes later, it was there waiting for us. Note that unlike other Marriott Vacation Club properties that require this level of points, the Ritz-Carlton Club is not a resort. It has minimal on-site activities, no swimming pool, no on-site restaurant. But it also has no lines, no crowds, no (screaming) children. With it's location and level of care, it's ideal for high-end executives doing short-term business in San Francisco. Or for monied retirees ready to live a stress-free life. We are neither, but was curious how much a 1 BR unit like this would cost. The cost was surprising (under a million, down 33% from seven years ago) , but made sense when one saw the monthly HOA fees ($3,200). Ouch.

Argonaut Hotel is a beautiful property with a fascinating history, housed in a historic waterfront warehouse that gives the hotel a unique character you don't find in many chain hotels. The nautical theme could easily feel gimmicky, but here it feels thoughtful and well-executed. The location is hard to beat. You're steps from Fisherman's Wharf, a short walk to Ghirardelli Square, and practically next door to Buena Vista Cafe. It made exploring the waterfront incredibly easy, especially with kids. Speaking of kids, we traveled with ours, and for the first couple of days they were still operating on East Coast time. That meant some very early mornings, and I'm sure a few of our neighboring rooms would have preferred a little more sleep. Thankfully, the hotel felt welcoming to families, and we never felt out of place traveling with children. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. After long days exploring the city, it was nice to come back to a room that didn't feel cramped. What surprised me most was how much I enjoyed staying in this part of the city. Yes, it's touristy, but it's also lively, convenient, and full of classic San Francisco experiences. It was a very different experience from our usual Nob Hill stays, but in a good way. I would absolutely stay here again.

Just before midnight we insisted on being moved to another room which resulted in a downgrade from the room we were in. This was a last-resort decision for us and of course, a major hassle. I asked for a courtesy discount and was told I'd be contacted by a manager. That didn't happen. This hotel is MUCH larger than how it's represented on their website. The rooms are nice, but not at the level of the room price ($685/nt). It's obviously located in a family-friendly tourist zone, so there is a lot of hustle and bustle in the public areas of the hotel, and unfortunately you can't count on peace and quiet on the guest floors. Most people know this, but in case you don't, Fisherman's Wharf has a Bourbon Street vibe, and that's great if that's your thing. But I can't understand why anyone would pay this price for such a "throw the dice" experience. Never again.
