If you consider large portions of pretty average/ decent Mexican food your thing, Casa Mexico is the place. I had the Enchiladas Verdes with Chicken and it was decent. Much more food than I can eat. We've ordered Casa Mexico to go multiple times when living in Kalispell. Coming from California it didn't blow me away, but I also have a strict and picky diet, so depending on what you get from Mexican food, it might be up to par as far as what you would compare it to. It's about as authentic as it gets for the flathead valley. There's also el Rancho restaurant which is pretty good. Both seem to be comparable and are decent for discovering Mexican food in the Flathead, you'd almost think it's an oxy moron! read more

The burritos aren't actual burritos. They throw beans on a tortilla and fold it over, then smother it with sauce. So kids can't actually hold it like a burrito. I asked for a tortilla and beans so i could make them myself because they refused to do it. read more

We were a little hesitant because, well, Mexican food in Montana. But it was super tasty and very HOT! I loved the mole sauce! We liked it so well, we went back the next night! The beans are a little runny to my liking but that didn't really matter much. I was able to substitute the mole sauce on my spinach enchiladas and it was a winner! I understand that this is as far from the border as you get, but you would have gotten more flavor from food at a Carlos o Kelly's. My friend ordered a margarita, and it came out the consistency of yogurt. The straw literally stood straight up in the cup. Our food came out and it didn't get better. I had the carne Asada burrito and my friend a chicken fajita. The burrito was mostly rice and beans with a little meat here and there. NOTHING had flavor to it. The fajita was rock hard and the rice has no flavor either. Giving 2 stars because our waitress was nice. read more

Stumbled on this place while visiting Glacier National Park. Came back very happy and very full. From the outside it looks any other small-town restaurant, but the decor is artfully chosen inside. Also it is pretty big and we did not have difficulty finding a table. Service was prompt. We were served Tortilla chips and Salsa...and waiter was present to answer any of our questions. We ordered "Burrito en el Huerto" and "Veggie Enchiladas" (with black beans) with Horchata as drink. Everything was amazing. The cheese on the Burrito especially was very very fresh. Never thought I would praise the cheese. :) Being from California, I was surprised how great the Mexican food was. I am waiting for my next trip to Kalispell, so that I can eat here again. read more

So sorry this has to be a negative review! I really loved this place for years. Many, many years ago I got a bad case of Montezuma's revenge here and stayed away for a number of years. The place reorganized ownership, remodeled, added a cantina and I came back. All was great. The food was typical Americana-Mexican and that was okay. Hot, tasty, reasonably priced and served with many smiles. Great serving staff and hosting! Until... a mouse poopy showed up on top of my refries. One of the last places open after a full day in Glacier National Park. They have an extensive menu. Table service with chips and salsa was fast & efficient. Both were refilled without have to request it. The server was a little slow in taking our order. We were tired so we opted for the senior beef fajitas. My wife's order was skimpy on the beef; only two small strips. Mine was skimpy on peppers; only one strip. Both orders included COLD rice & black beans. Weird Chile rellenos. it was like an omlette wrapped around some flattened chiles and then some corn tortilla around that. That's bizarre and wasn't that tasty. The pork enchilada was great, the chicken taco was on par with Taco Bell. The entire staff were wearing masks below their noses and when the waiter came over to take our order he lowered his below his mouth. The refried beans were like diarrhea, very runny. read more

I don't know what is good here except for the montezuma revenge I got. Food is mediocre at best. The quality is like the items are pulled pre prepped and cooked from the fridge. Being from California, we have killer, authentic Mexican food on every corner. But as soon as you head north, it gets harder to find. This place has it going on. It's a busy place so we had to wait and I can see why. Great vibe inside the place. Almost everyone working there speaks at least some Spanish. The service was great. But the most important part was the food. The chips and salsa were great. I had chili verde with flour tortillas and everything was perfect. But the thing we liked best, were the sopapillas. Those are hard to find even in here in Fresno but they had them and they were killer. We left so stuffed we could barely move. If you're up north and you want good mexican, definitely check this place out. Awesome. read more

Went into Casa Mexico for the first time and was amazed by how good the service was. Sat at a table in the bar and had Michelle as my server and she was amazing. Great service and took care of everything. Moved to the bar and the bartender in the banana shirt was so friendly. Amazing beard. Will definitely be back. Although the sign outside claims "authentic" Mexican food, be warned, this is not authentic in the least. First of all, the Margaritas have no tequila, they are wine Margaritas. This is posted nowhere in the restaurant or on the menu and our server failed to tell us this information until after we had bought and tasted our beverages. Overall, the food was a very Americanized version of Mexican food. The queso was more like nacho cheese you get at a ballpark (and was overpriced), the refried beans seemed to be straight from a can, and the rice was bland. Check beforehand with your server on how certain menu items are prepared; what I ordered was made completely differently from any other true Mexican restaurant I've ever been to. I went here as a birthday dinner and was severely disappointed with this unauthentic Mexican restaurant experience. While most places will contain singing or a special treat brought out for such occasions, this location had nothing to offer. Save yourself the trouble and find another Mexican restaurant, as Kalispell seems to have several. This experience was everything but "authentic." read more

Had been here 5 years ago and was back in this part of Montana. Arrived bout 12:30 and the parking lot was almost full but found a spot for my truck in the back. Was greeted immediately and taken to a table in the back. Chips and salsa and water were on my table within 2 minutes and my ice tea was there soon after. Nice lunch menu, my choice was chicken enchiladas mole, served with beans and rice. Nicely presented, tasty and hot. Ended up with a to-go box to take 1/2 wii. It was busy but I never felt ignored.
