    Chili rellenos con salsa verde
    Lorene B.

The atmosphere is good & my server was nice & attentive, but my chili rellenos were less than par. I kinda suffered thru the first one because it was so tough(!!) I thought they must've wrapped the cheese & canned(!) chilies in an old egg pancake & then put a tortilla around it before covering it with a delicious salsa verde & mozarella sprinkles. But after taking the 2nd one home, I discovered they actually used two old, tough & thin egg pancakes as the wrap for the sparse amount of canned chilies & an odd orange cheese. I'm used to rellenos being made with fresh chilies, cheese & and fluffy fried batter, so I'll definitely not order that again!

Casa, mexico has some of the worst mexican food I've ever had in my life. My nineteen dollar chimi was the size of an eggroll. Every time I eat here, it reminds me of european vacation. You can get a scoop of the yellow, a scoop of the brown or a scoop of the green. Everything in the restaurant is made up of the combination of three pots cooking in the back. The only thing fresh is a tortilla. Dont even get me started on their prices. Go to 7 eleven by a frozen burrito for a dollar forty nine, and you're getting better food than what you're gonna get here.

Most of the food was good. The restaurant was cute and they sat us fast. The waiter was kind of rude he forgot part of my order and then seemed out off when I asked for the rest of it. I would skip the Mexican pizza and the house salsa but the rest was good.

Prices are reasonable, the food is good, but watch out for the chile verde if you're watching your salt intake.

Very disappointed in our visit, the staff was unattended and didn't check on us once during our meal and when we asked for a to go box, the just tossed it at our table, and our food was cold

The food & service was great! Loved the salsa & queso! The Confetti was more than enough for 2 and delicious! We had ours with fajita steak. Yum!

Salsa is very watery and has no heat. We shared the chicken-beef-shrimp fajitas, which ended up mostly being peppers and onion. We asked if it cost extra for sour cream, and server said yes, so we said we didn't want it. He still brought it, so we figured he was giving it to get a better tip, then saw a charge for it on the bill. We'd eaten it, so of course we had to pay for it, but it wasn't cool. Virgin margarita served to a friend looked totally different than the one I got, and she got whipped cream and a cherry on top, and I didn't. It was watery too. It's a very loud interior, so conversation is difficult. Rice and beans are bland too. This place just sucks.

Hello again, today I'm visiting Kalispell Montana and I came to eat some of my favorite food which is Mexican. I came to Casa Mexico and the place is beautiful inside and out. Service was nice and we feel welcome. I order a Molcajete, Casa Burrito and Mezcal Vida. In my opinion the food was good but as a Mexican my taste is different. This is the perfect place for everyone specially if you not Mexican and let me tell you why, is because a business owner has to focus in what most of his customers like and that's what Casa Mexico does. Mexico have lots of different taste when it comes to food and my taste is from Mexico City and I love super spicy food. I do recommend this place and when i comeback to visit Montana, I am coming back to Casa Mexico

Typical Mexican food in a typical looking Mexican restaurant. Food came out on really hot plates, which didn't necessarily make the food "hot." Service was very quick though we did have to wait quite awhile for the check. No big deal. The place was hopping for a Saturday night.

Really fast service but food was barely warm just plated on hot plates. Would have made a big difference if the food was just hot.

They didn't offer my dog any water, but that was fine since I had my own bowl for him. You're looking to spend minimum $15 an entree. Pretty expensive for mediocre food. I ordered the prawns and steak, but the prawns were medium sized. The steak was overcooked but still edible. The tortillas taste like grocery store quality and not homemade. My boyfriend ordered the shrimp and crab chimichanga. They stuffed the chimichanga with mini baby shrimp and maybe a couple of shreds of crab meat. The server was nice, but he made several mistakes. While putting down our plates, he almost knocked over my cup of ice onto my dog, he spilled salsa onto my boyfriend's foot, and we found a strand of hair tangled in the food and he told us that the cook is bald. I'm grateful they were open when I was super hungry and they are dog friendly, but the service and food sucks.

I was surprised to find their pricing was so reasonable and from such an accomplished Chef and team. They have been so easy to work wit hand so much fun to plan with for our wedding. THEN, my rehearsal dinner location that has been putting me off for months about getting reservation details beyond "sure we can do that" comes back with "That will be $4k room reservation since its on one of our busy days, looking forward to working with you" 3 weeks before the wedding. In a panic I reached out to see if there was any way S&M would be willing to squeeze in some additional catering for me that weekend and all I heard was "don't worry! we got you!" at a fraction of the price of my previous intended location, on short notice and with a smile. Chef Star and her team have already gone above and beyond and we haven't even gotten to the good stuff yet. We are so looking forward to actually getting to taste the food (Which I've heard is incredible), but even if it was just mediocre, they will still get a 5 star review. I'll be back with pictures after the event, but just know, you're getting more than a caterer if you hire Chef Ironside, you're getting a partner in your event. someone who is as invested in its success as you are. The enchilada tricolor plate is ginormous and DEFINITELY can be shared. The pork enchilada with verde sauce was my favorite but I also enjoyed the shredded chicken with mole well. It boasts of barbecue style sandwiches and menu and this place was packed on a Friday at 3pm! Mac & cheese is one of the benchmarks of a good BBQ place. Collard greens I think had BBQ sauce? making them very tangy and not good at all, almost inedibly sour for me. They tasted better the next day mixed with other things. Elk sausage came smothered in more BBQ sauce and mustard. I wish these were on the side so that I could control how much sauce was on there. Cornbread seemed good but if I really looked at it, the cornbread was rather bland and the server instructed us to put honey on it. Well anything is good when you pour honey & butter over it. Loved the decor. I think because they're so busy, it became quantity over quality, unfortunately.
