I have to say that I used to not like this place so much, but they have really won me over recently. First of all, they are probably the FASTEST service in town. They get the food on the table so quickly after you order, even with large groups. Also, I feel that they've really improved the flavor profiles and quality from what it used to be years ago. While visiting Kalispelll, we decided to try this restaurant. Got seated quickly with a great ambiance.They serve complimentary chips and salsa. I ordered a chicken quesadilla that comes with rice and beans. Came out hot and tasted okay. Great service from staff. The Fluffy sopapilla tasted good drizzled with cinnamon and whipped cream. Food here is a solid 4, except for the shrimp dish (I think it was the camarenas la crema) which was one of my favorite all time things at any restaurant, but the service at the bar is great because you always get served quickly and the bartender always has the inside info on what is best to get and why...and he also seems to have an amazing memory because I hadn't visited for about six months, but after handing the menu to me he looked and then paused and said "you cut your hair." It's always busy and there's always a wait if you sit down, but the bar is usually open to walk into and find a spot on the stool. read more

This is our go to for Mexican food! We usually eat in the cantina. The staff are friendly and super efficient! Shelly takes great care of us. Terrible experience. I won't be returning. My family went once and our service was terrible, they messed up on my husband order (he requested green sauce and not red) and when I told the on staff manager,who was also our server, he took my husband's burrito. When it returned it was very obvious they had just wiped off the sauce and then covered it with then green resulting in food that we refused to eat. I was absolutely shocked that this place had such a great rating and that this was the experience that we got. I understand that Kalispell has a lot of tourists, however we live here and this was completely unacceptable. Now I am from Oklahoma where Mexican restaurants are on every other corner. I was nervous about trying some where so far north. This place is AWESOME!!!!! First off their margaritas are top notch! If you like spicy, try the Jalapeño Margarita. Their Tropical Margarita is quite dangerous though. Tastes so sweet that you dont know you're having a Margarita. Two of these and you'll be grinning from ear to ear. Their fajitas are top notch! I got the Casa Fajitas that has Chicken, steak and shrimp. The steak and shrimp were sooooooo good! This is one of my favorite spots! The food is pretty authentic, and the service in the bar area is very attentive and quick. We actually prefer getting seated there. I usually get the chicken enchiladas verde, and I'm never disappointed. My husband has tried a few different dishes, but he's finished them every single time (which is really saying something)! Portions are also generous, which justifies the price point for me. Drinks were also superb. Hubs got a Moscow mule, and it was one of the best ones he's ever had. In all honesty, this place isn't much to write home about. The music and ambiance are great and it didn't take long to get our food. However, the customer service wasn't very friendly and the food was lacking. Rather bland tasting. Their Flautas were great! But my taco entree was a little charred tasting. We ordered Chile Colorado, Chicken Enchiladas and Shrimp Enchiladas, there were so many things wrong. First they lost the entire order, then as they were bringing it out a server took part for someone else's order. We asked for the rice and beans to be separate, all the rice/beans from all meals were in big containers. When we got home we realized they forgot part of the order. The Shrimp Enchiladas were made with brine shrimp. The Chile Colorado had shards of broken plastic in it like it'd been dropped and scooped up and put in a new container. On top of all that, the taste of it was so bad I think Taco Bell would've been a better choice. If I could give less than one star I would read more

Face it, you're thousands of miles from the Mexican border. Not as authentic as I had hoped... my chili relleno was void of ANY CHEESE. The inside was empty... both of the ones I got were hollow. Just an egg battered chili. The salsa that accompanied the chips was a very small & shallow bowl. Not even enough for 1/2 basket of chips. A whole chip didn't even fit into the dish. Found this location on Yelp and decided to give it a try. The place was nicely decorated and made you feel like in a Mexican food restaurant. The food was also pretty authentic to what we were looking for. Ordered the Casa Fajitas and Super Nachos. Both were good, but my favorite was the Casa Fajitas. Generous portions of shrimp, chicken and beef with a good mix of the veggies (peppers, tomato and onions). Salsa had a good flavor, just a slight kick to it. I like mine spicier, but understandable that not everyone likes the heat in salsa! It's a family restaurant but does have a separate bar section with some casino machines. The young man that helped me with my order was very friendly and made suggestions with my order as I was from out of town. Looking around while waiting I noticed that all staff was very friendly and helpful, created a great family type of environment and the food was great.
