    Pasta bolognese.

So glad we found this place! Wanted to find a place that wasn't too far for date night -- and Stone House had a warm and welcoming environment with delicious food. We shared the crispy brussels sprouts as our appetizer, with the aioli but without the peppers. They were excellent -- the sriracha really gave the aioli a pop but didn't make the sprouts too spicy. The serving is very big; we didn't end up finishing them. So would recommend those for more than two people to share. My partner got the pasta bolognese and really enjoyed it. I got the NY strip steak, which was cooked in an au poivre sauce and came with whipped potatoes and string beans. I also requested a side of the horseradish sauce that I'd peeped as part of the steak sandwich -- and HIGHLY recommend adding that in to any beef you order! I was able to finish the steak, but the potatoes and beans were too much. It was all excellent, though! Definitely plan to return -- shout out to our wonderful server, Matthew!

This was such a cute and rustic atmosphere. The bartender was very friendly although the waitress didn't seem to want to be there. The chicken Ceasar wrap was excellent however, in MY opinion, prices were high for lunch. I would recommend as their menu looks great.

This place is amazing!!! The best crispy Brussels sprouts ever! With tear drop peppers( like.. what?!?) and such a welcoming staff! Also, the art is so unique and interspersed. Great music too.. so relaxing and beautiful. We ordered sautéed cod and black Angus burger- all done to perfection! The menu is very healthy and high class!! Never expected it in a middle of nowhere.. HIGHLY recommend, if you are hiking in Mohonk or Minnewaska , like

We had a wonderful night. Everything was perfect. Highly recommend even with people that have gluten allergies.

If you are in or around Accord NY in the near future you must visit the Stone House Tavern. The service is friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The rough hewn timbers on the ceiling and stone fireplace take you back in time. My martini came slighlty dirty as ordered, my bride prefers her cosmo on the sweet side and it was, (great martini glasses also!) The food was amazing. We started with wings, a wonton wrapper with shrimp appetizer, a spinach salad and oven roasted Brussels sprouts (AMAZING) I had pot roast, my wife had the butternut squash soup every facet of our meal was perfect including pistachio ice cream and creme brulee. The highlight was meeting the owners, a lovely couple who oversee all aspects of your meal. I believe they have entertainment on the weekends, call to confirm this. Run don't walk to the Stone House for your next meal

Needed a bite after hiking and ended up at Stone House - what a find! Their carrot soup blew me away (and I'm pretty picky about soup). Great drink deals too. The place just has this really comfortable vibe, like you could sit there for hours. The food was fantastic, and the whole place felt so welcoming. Can't wait to come back when I'm around here again.

Of course we cleaned up and walked over and were even more thrilled when we arrived to a completely empty dining room with the exception of our wonderful waiter and attentive host. It felt like the perfect, cozy intimate space to the end of an otherwise rainy, somewhat crazy but fun day. We shared a bottle of red on recommendation and had cocktails. The waiter was warm and knowledgeable. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The ambiance is cozy and has an elevated feel. Service was exceptional and it was the perfect, memorable evening. Ended dinner with what I recall was a complimentary chocolate truffle. 10/10!

Service…read morewas indeed spotty on the Saturday night we came here and prices- well....they veer into sharp-intake-of-breath territory, but the cocktail and wine list are good in value. We'd just wrapped up seeing a property in the area- so coming here for dinner, fell just in line with timing before heading down home. Butterfield is Hasbrouck House's on-site farm-to-table restaurant located a bit north from New Paltz. While we didn't stay at the hotel, folks can certainly dine here. Don't even think that you'll be seated in an ultra-cheap bar area because their bar is put together elegantly with brushed, brassy-gold touches, navy, grey+cream patterned wallpaper and a comfortable tufted leather(?) sofa against the windows. Those are pretty much the overall touches with lots of tone and a lot of warmth. Music was a great mix of 60s-70s R&B. Yeah.... here. Hubs and I were digging it. Naturally, Butterfield's menu will change regularly according with what's in season and available. Between our 'Small Plates' of mixed Beet salad+ yogurt ($18) and hubs' crispy wonton Tuna Crudo+ yuzu tacos ($22)- they were very tasty and pricy for the small size. Mr. Mixologist packed our cocktails extremely well with an incredible TKO. Our main plates were very good- but again, small for the dollar amount. No one needs to gorge on food- but I wished my palm-size $44 Halibut was a bit bigger. To their defense, it had a tasty rub and done PERFECTLY moist though. Hubs' $54 "dry aged strip loin" was a total of 3 pieces. And my take-out Truffle Risotto had uncooked rice. Again, it's small and expensive at $38 for a main plate Hubs and I eat well and usually, money is no object- if it's within reason. I totally get that fine dining typically means splurging a little for high-quality items or that Butterfield is using 'complex cooking techniques' or that you'll get an original dining experience in these neck of the woods for those who want uniqueness. But there are a ton of restaurants that use the same skill set, quality organic ingredients, root veggies, etc- and they're way more reasonably priced than this location.

The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful, especially during the fall and winter. Sitting outside around the massive fire pit with a drink in hand is one of my favorite experiences. The restaurant itself is elegant yet cozy, and the entire property is stunning, with luxury cabins, a spa, and breathtaking surroundings that make it a perfect getaway--especially for visitors coming from New York City. The food is consistently outstanding. Every dish is beautifully prepared, the cocktails are excellent, and while the portions are on the gourmet side, the quality more than justifies the price. It is definitely a splurge for locals, but it's worth it for a special occasion or when you're looking for an exceptional dining experience. The drive is a little questionable depending on which direction you come from lol, at some points you are literally at the edge of the mountain but it was all worth it for the ambiance and views once we got to Wildflower Farms. Now the reason I knocked off 2 stars was because of a miscommunication in our reservation regarding allergies. The night before our reservation they called to confirm the time, number of guests, and the allergies listed on the reservation. I am allergic to treenuts and they served both Burrata and Radicchio salad with the nuts on/in it. Good thing I noticed as well as another girl in my party that they hadn't been removed. Once notified the staff quickly removed it and made a new one fresh without nuts. The manager additionally came over and profusely apologized. My issue is, why confirm our allergies the night before if it is disregarded the day of. They even gave us a discount and only charged $115/pp. However, that doesn't fix the problem if I had ingested either of those dishes, what would have happened. Other than those 2 slip ups. The food was tasty and felt homecooked. The rolls were hot and buttery, the salted whipped butter was a nice touch. The pork meatballs were tender and juicy. I think out of the mains my favorite was the fish curry. Cocktails are NYC prices. Portion sizes were small and we left feeling hungry. Presentation is nice and it gives you that fine dining vibe.
