Bar and restaurant. Very good food. Had the Chili Verde Burrito GOOOOOOD! My Momma, sister, and step dad had Chicken Enchiladas and Carne Asada Tacos. GOOOOOOD! All in all, great food. Beans and rice were excellent. Salsa, perfect. Server was a doll and the music was great. I highly recommend this place.

Found this place this year (2026), have eaten there 3 times and it has yet to disappoint. The prices are amazing, especially happy hour. The food has been consistently good. Service was a bit mediocre one time, but nothing to get upset about (looked like they may have been understaffed on a super busy night). I really want this place to do well. I don't live in Bako, but I make a stop when in town.

This place has changed chefs and it shows the food is great The serve staff is quick and responsive. They helped out a party of thirteen pretty quickly. I ordered the chili verde burrito. It was very good the refried beans were great the rice was just ok It was pretty big burrito. This chili verde was peppery and wonderful very good.

Larger location of one of our favorites. New name same food and family. Hello Casa Murillo. Always welcoming friendly service, and delicious food selections. Plenty of room for larger groups, and a separate bar area if you are just looking to have a few drinks with appetizers. Check out the Enchiladas El Comal my favorite. Juicy tender carnitas flat enchiladas on a sizzling skillet with creamy ranchera sauce cheese and grilled fajitas style veggies. Amazing. Hubby enjoys the great portion on the Combo fajitas. Check out their daily specials on the board. Love a comfortable dining area nice decor. Close to home is a nice bonus.

This place has hatched its name to casa Murillo. The food was good in size for the price. The food was ok nothing spectacular about any of our plates. My cheese enchilada was cold and the beans lacked flavor. The asada burrito was dry however the meat was seasoned well. The other two plates were good however the rice and beans lacked flavor as well. All in all we will not be coming back, it's just not to our liking. Custer service was great refilled drinks and the food came out quick. The ambience was a little worn down but they tried to fix it up as best as they can.

The waiter was amazing. His customer service was awesome. He took care of his in every way my grandson spilled his soda twice and he cleaned it up without hesitation. The food is OK. It wasn't the best but the customer service makes up for that. The decor is nice, but it kind of looks like an old diner.

We have passed by this restaurant several times before coming in on a Sunday. As we pulled into the parking lot, we seen some family friends walking in as well for a birthday party. These folks knew the owner and told us we shouldn't be disappointed with anything inside, hence why they chose this place for a milestone 80th birthday. It took about 3-4 min from the time we walked in, until someone greeted us to seat us at a table. They apologized and were nice about this delay. As we sat down, we were greeted by a young lady who was the hostess but happened to be helping out tables. She came back with a nice gentleman who was our server and he was quick with service, small-talked with us, and was frequent in his checks back with us. As far as the food goes: carnitas we're very tasty, and the plate design was great. My wife ordered creamy enchiladas that she didn't care for. My son ordered menudo and was not wowed, and my daughter was not there. Overall, the price of the food was fair. Great service, and good atmosphere, and great food.

I don't know how many times I have driven past this place and have never eaten here. It's right by the church I attend. My mom and I were craving Mexican food and decided we would give this place a try. Upon walking in we were greeted right away by staff and sat quickly. I think we had just beaten the lunch rush. Our waitress got our drink order and who I thought to be the owner or manager passed by to make sure our drink order was taken. The service was fantastic and friendly! I ordered the 2 item combo plate with a Chile relleno, tamale, and rice and beans. Food was hot looked delicious. Our waitress let us know they take the seeds out of the chile relleno. I can't do too spicy. The chile relleno and tamale did have a kick to it. I couldn't finish all of my food, it was a big portion. My mom also got a 2 item combo plate with a chicken enchilada and relleno. We also ordered flan that was so good! My absolute favorite there today was their salsa and chips they served! This place is clean, decorated cute, and a great atmosphere. I would come back again and try something different!

First off it was a steady flow of customers for a Wednesday evening. Many birthdays! We were sat immediately and waiter came to take our drink order. I had a mango chamoy margarita, while my husband got a roasted chili cucumber margarita on the rocks. His drink was SPICY! I ordered the shrimp fajitas and my husband ordered the chicken and steak molcajete. Our food was brought out super fast! The portions - humongous! But the food is so good! My husband is super picky when it comes to Mexican food, and he said this molcajete is his favorite so far compared to other Mexican restaurants we've been to. The bright colorful colors and great music selection really make it joyous and fun dining experiences. Highly recommend.

The place is pretty easy to find on the corner of 18th & R. There isn't a lot of seating for more than parties of 4. We were a party of 6 and we all smooshed into a horseshoe booth inside. There are only 2 of these booths available and they indicated they are not able to place additional seating at the booths. I imagine you might be able to put tables together outside for a larger party. We were greeted warmly, and while I felt overwhelmed by the amazing choices, the gal taking our order put me at ease by walking me through the menu board. We got amazing carnitas quesadillas and tacos and another dish that came on top of a mound of delicious fries. It's the kind of place where you order, then sit down and they bring you the food. We were well taken care of. Our drinks were refilled and they brought us 'to go' boxes. Their portions are generous and just tasty. And the iced tea was perfect! We ordered a full order of chips and salsa. That is extra. It was $6 for a full order ($5 for half) and these chips were well worth the cost. We will be back!

Before my guest even arrived, I was told the kitchen was closing in 10 minutes, which made it impossible to plan or order properly for both of us. About 30 minutes after being seated, the waitress asked to close out my tab and mentioned they were closing an hour and a half early, something that should have been communicated when I walked in so I could have chosen to go elsewhere. To make things worse, about 10 minutes before closing, they turned the lights all the way up and shut the music off, which made it very clear we were being pushed out. No one came by to offer boxes for our food (I had more than half my meal left), and my guest didn't even get to finish her drink. We were essentially rushed out before the already early closing time, with no proper send-off. Overall, the experience felt very unprofessional and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

The food was absolutely delicious, which is why I'm leaving this review, but unfortunately the service missed the mark during our most recent visit. We ordered our steak medium rare, but it came out well done. When our server took our order, our appetizers arrived quickly and then our entrees followed, but we had to remind him about the Starry soda that was ordered and never brought out initially. The biggest issue occurred when the Aguachile Ribeye was brought to our table. One of the plates was broken, causing food and sauce to spill all over me and the seat. While the server acknowledged something happened, there wasn't much concern shown about the spill on my shorts, and no replacement plate was offered. A simple apology and a little more attention to the situation would have gone a long way. Later, when we asked for a box for the leftover steak, it took quite a while and I ended up having to remind our server again. Overall, the food was fantastic and is the reason I continue to come back. The kitchen clearly knows what they're doing. However, the service could use some improvement, especially when it comes to attention to detail and handling issues when they arise. I'll still be back because I genuinely enjoy the food, but I hope the service experience improves on future visits.
