Went here a couple weeks ago to celebrate my birthday. I would give it a 3.8 stars. The mozzarella stick and the meatballs are very good. On previous occasions the meatballs had a stronger basil flavor, which I really enjoyed. However, the basil flavor was not coming through this time. My friend and I each ordered the lychee martini, which was very good. For the entrees we ordered the short rib paperdelle (always a crowd pleaser), rigatoni and the su pitzosu. Rigatoni was good as was the su pitzosu, but I wouldn't order again. For a crab dish I prefer the agnolotti that was previously on the menu. For dessert we ordered the cannolis and crispy gnocchi. The crispy gnocchi was so good i ordered an additional one for myself. Unfortunately, one of the workers drowned the dish in chocolate which totally took over the flavor and made the marshmallow nearly non existent. Also, got to see the GM Veronica. She definitely enhances the customer experience

Another fantastic concept from the Bardea Restaurant Group! Casa Nonna is a new sit-down restaurant within the DE.CO food hall in downtown Wilmington, and we very much enjoyed our recent dinner there. The extensive menu features pizzas, some Italian classic pastas ("Nonna's House Pasta") and some reimagined Italian dishes ("Our House Pasta"), but every bite we had was delicious. We started with the mozzarella stick (yes, singular) --- the biggest mozzarella stick I have ever seen, topped with an eggplant parmesan inspired mousse. The outside was crispy and delicious, the cheese pull was Instagram-perfect, and the flavors were incredible. We then tried the Fig pizza, featuring figs (duh), prosciutto, arugula, and burrata, which was a delightful combination of flavors and textures that came together perfectly. We were drawn to the chef's favorite asterisks on the menu next to the Pasta Mista from the Nonna's House Pasta menu, which was a flavorful bowl of mismatched pasta shapes with a slight kick of spice. We enjoyed this, but the other dishes were a bigger highlight for us. Finally, we wrapped up the meal with the tiramisu... and it was possibly the best tiramisu I have ever had. 10/10, would order every time. The cocktail/drink menu is solid as well, with something for every palate. I'm not sure if they're offering this drink menu at the DE.CO bar or not, but would be nice to grab a drink to pair with dinner from any of the food stalls at DE.CO.

This is located INSIDE of D.E.C.O. Definitely worth a stop and gluten friendly menu! I had everything except the agnolotti (as this is premade and not gluten free). The mozz stick was crazy out of this world. I would love to do one of the "girls night out" when they have a larger app menu (i think¿). The server was super sweet. I did order a red wine and it was served chilled which threw me off for a minute. So far Bardea Food Group crushes the game! The inside is very chill and the bar is set up nicely where this could easily be a great date spot or middle of the week dinner!

Focaccia. Hard baked, very crusty and with a strong charred/burnt flavor. Served with diced giardiniera and olive oil.

Not as familiar with the area, so not sure if this joint is good or bad for the area. I tried several dishes and all were okay, but I think there may be better options in the area. Red sauce is tangy and thin. Fried mozz has every sauce except tomato (that I could taste). Fun thing is the happy hour at bar serves wings. The texture is good, but the "buffalo" flavor I ordered came out very sweet and tangy, almost like bbq. The atmosphere is nice and the staff is friendly.

Nick’s Pizza - Detroit style with pepperoni & spinach

I ordered three pizzas: Upside down, White & Pepperoni. Ordered three sandwiches: One chicken steak, two beef steak. Wings: two orders. For starters we loved the wings - crispy and meaty and not at all greasy. The pizzas were also a hit. The thin crispy crust was great and cooked just right. All of them were delicious but our favorite was the pepperoni. The cheesesteaks - wow!! Seriously the BEST cheesesteaks in town. You can taste the cheese in every single bite. The sandwiches were loaded with chicken or beef and the seeded roll was fresh. The only thing that could have been better? The pizza temperature. Oddly, when we arrived home (about 10 minutes later), the pizzas weren't hot? The wings and the cheesesteaks were both perfect. Ordering and pick up was a breeze. The staff were friendly and the food was very good. Our only regret is that we haven't tried this place sooner! We will definitely be back. Hopefully the pizza will be hot.

Place was pretty cool inside, old school vibes with the flooring, wall posters, and even video games. Had to wait about twenty minutes for a table for three, not a big deal, as it was a Friday night and somewhat expected. Prices were a little high, but not crazy. Service was good, food came out fairly quickly. Ordered a couple of pizzas, steak sandwich and fries. Round pizza was decent. Detroit was underwhelming, and was really hard to eat. It was very difficult to get off of the screen, very sloppy, not a lot of crisp-was really hoping for a better pie. Steak sandwich was fine-roll was decent, meat was seasoned, but didn't really set itself apart. I will say the bar area had a really good vibe, and I could maybe see myself returning for a couple of drinks and maybe some apps. Wish I could give a three and a half, but unfortunately it didn't really earn a four for me.
