Sun dried peppers
David L.

Sunday night and we arrived a hair before 6pm to try to beat the evening rush. When we got there, there were no tables available, but a party or two were about to finish up. After about a 5 minute wait, we were seated in their small and cramped dining area. There were only a couple of parties to follow us and the crowd appeared to be a lot of regulars. We had come to try out Ristorante Attilio because I'd seen a few friends post recently about their sun dried peppers. So of course, I had to order them. A little spicy for the kids, but they did like them. Prices are reasonable. Portion sizes are actually a bit modest for an Italian restaurant. Friendly staff. Three or four people checked in with us throughout the meal to make sure we were taken care of.

Giant serving of "Very Special" Lasagna
Kate F.

Took my parents (who are fairly picky eaters) to Ristorante Attilio for an early Sunday dinner recently. We arrived to the unassuming, wood-paneled, somewhat outdated dining room around 5 PM and were asked to wait about 5-10 minutes for our table. Once seated, service was quick, friendly, and attentive. For drinks, we stuck to water, but I did see carafes of wine on other tables. Complimentary bread and butter is provided, and I ordered a side salad for my appetizer. The salad was essentially a bowl packed with iceberg lettuce with two thin tomato slides and two rings of raw white onion on top --- not really worth the almost $5. My mom ordered corn chowder (soup of the day) and said it was good, though didn't seem overly impressed. For entrees, we had some hits and some misses: my parents ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and the spinach lasagna (one of the daily specials) and both really enjoyed their meals. I ordered the "Very Special" house lasagna, made with mini meatballs, prosciutto, and hard-boiled egg, which I liked, though I probably wouldn't choose it again. Mom and I both agreed that her spinach lasagna was superior. BF ordered the gnocchi, which tasted kind of watery and flavorless. The portions are large and filling, and I had enough leftover lasagna to take for lunch the next day. Based on other reviews, I think I may have simply mis-ordered --- next time, I'll skip the side salad, try a different entree, and definitely save room for dessert (some cakes went by on a tray and looked delectable)!

Good old fashioned Italian food in humble decor, at a reasonable price. Service was great and food was all world.

Keep going to the stop sign. When you're at the stop sign look across the street to the left and they're right there. I got lucky and found street parking right in front of their door. Walked in and they were packed. One tiny table open squashed between two others and the bar were my options so I sat at the bar. I try to pay cash at Mom & Pops place so they're not hammered by the credit card fees. They were low on change and recommending credit cards. I dug around in my pockets and found exact change. They were all out of pastries but one. I wanted to try their pasties de nada but all that was left was a croissant so I ordered it, along with their French toast and an oatmilk cappuccino. Turns out the croissant was already purchased by another patron who was going to have it after their meal. It hadn't been served yet. I received a refund. A couple showed up and sat at the bar as all the tables were full. Then someone else showed up and pointed at the seat I had my coat on saying they were told to sit there as it was the last seat open in the entire place. Packed. The French toast came out in good time but somehow my cappuccino got lost in the mix. It was immediately made and brought out. The French toast is as good as everyone says it is. Light, well filled, great flavor without being too sweet. I was trying to eat it all but had to stop 3/4 of the way as somehow it's filling. The cappuccino is also very good. I made the mistake of wanting to try them out at 11:45 on a holiday. 100% my bad. Considering there are only 3 people working the entire establishment, they did a great job. The food and drink were totally worth it and I will be back (at a less busy time)! *Quick add: I usually don't post while in the establishment but did here. Even with it being busy the owner came by to talk about the review and share a little about their business. They do evening events, private dinners. They also host guest chefs. Their goal is to elevate dishes, which is exactly what they did to the French toast. Based on this one breakfast I would definitely consider them for any function I was hosting in the area.

This is a review for Angelo's Pizza. Personally I preferred Pizzeria Bardea. I'm honestly not sure…read morewhat was going on at Angelo's. From the start, things were weird. The person taking my order didn't seem familiar with the menu, which was surprising for a place focused on something as straightforward as pizza. It took quite a while for the pizza to be assembled before making it to the oven. After ordering, I waited nearly 40 minutes, which I had buyer's remorse, considering I could have just ordered two pre-made slices and heated them up. Bardea was able to get an order in and out in like 10 minutes. Even weirder, comes the confusing part after Angelo's takes the pizza out of the oven. Twice, the pizza made it to a box, where employees stood over it, seemingly unsure of what to do. They appeared to be discussing it and even taking photos while the pizza just sat there getting cold, for several minutes. Is this an Instagram moment? I genuinely had no clue what was happening. By the time I finally received my order, the pizza was luke warm and the whole experience was frustrating. I have no interest dealing with whatever was happening here. I hope they work out the kinks of whatever the heck was going on at this place.

I haven't tried all the food stalls yet, but they're on my list. The layout has lots of seating in the center, with food on the side walls. It's like a more upscale food court. The vibe is chill, with simple modern yet cozy tables and benches amid lots of slightly industrial design touches. It's a good spot for lunch with colleagues or sitting alone with a book, especially on off hours. If you're looking for something a bit elevated but not super fancy, DE.CO is a great spot.

I absolutely love visiting the family owned-and-operated restaurants. And when it comes to…read moreGreek/Mediterranean business, I am all for a place that I've never been to before. This takes me to Wilmington, the largest city in Delaware where I had the opportunity to try out "Opa Opa". Located at the Village of Trolley Square strip mall and adjacent to Delaware Ave & N. Clayton St., this place has been serving up delicious Greek food dating back to 2015. I came here with my lady during the afternoon of Friday 10/10/2025 at around 2:45pm. The interior is bright, spacious, ample room for dining in, and pays homage to the blue and white Greek colors. Additionally, there are several art pieces that represent some of the more popular Greek destinations. Sodas, water, and other various beverages are available in a refrigerator across from the register/counter area. Since I was very hungry (and on my way north to Philadelphia), I decided to go with something that will carry me through the rest of the afternoon. I finally decided on their "Chicken Gyro Platter" w/fries. My lady went with their "Grilled Chicken Greek Salad". We didn't get any drinks as our waters is all we needed to enjoy our lunch. Both of our meals are ready in just under 7 minutes while everything is presented to us in a quick and timely manner. I do have to say that if you're starving, this is the place to come! My gyro was a very generous portion that offered huge chucks of seasoned chicken. In fact, the chicken to veggie ratio was 2:1 as they did not skimp on the protein. My pita bread that encased this was warm and made each bite very savory. The fries were also made well; crispy yet soft on the inside. And as you can see from the photo, the salad that my lady got was also huge. As I mentioned, come hungry and you will leave very full. All in all, "Opa Opa" was a very pleasant surprise as Wilmington offers a lot of ethnic food in all directions. This place also offers very generous hours as they are opened for business Monday through Saturday from 10:30am-10:00pm and Sunday from 11:00am-9:00pm. With above average customer service, a spacious inside dining area, reasonable prices, and generous food portions, this place earns a perfect five-star rating from me.

I came for their "Super Tuesday" deal, which included the Gyro Platter with fries for just $9.95.
