    Quesabirria tacos
    Sara M.

Really disappointed with the food I got this time. Regular tostada ($18) - this thing was just slightly bigger than a taco, yet somehow cost more than a super burrito. I was really annoyed at how little food came with this. I also chose carnitas and they tasted old and dry. It was super unappetizing. The cherry on top was after eating this my stomach was super upset all night, I'm guessing from the meat. We've been to this restaurant a handful of times but after getting this I'm not in a rush to come back any time soon.

Ambiance: The vibe in this place is always fun, and lively! Great place to celebrate birthdays! They are famous for giving the birthday person a shot of tequila and a sombrero, while singing Happy Birthday! Be careful....they might help you with the shot unless you specific you want to do it on your own. It's all done in fun and not intended to be careless. Food and Beverage: The food is amazing and they serve very large portions! My husband was happy to have my leftover shrimp tacos the next day for leftovers. I had a mango margarita and it was straight up amazing! They have a variety of menu and drink options! Reservations: A bonus for this review and restaurant - they take reservations! There were six of us and they started to seat us in the middle of the restaurant. I let them know we were probably going to be a very loud group, so they sat us in a corner booth. They definitely took care of us. We were celebrating two birthdays that night! Overall: I highly recommend this place if you are looking for really good Mexican food. This place never disappoints!

It's been a good decade since I've been to this chain. The tacos el carbon was no longer in the menu unfortunately but we did try many other items. Cali burrito, enchilada, fajitas, and chile relleno. Not very much meat in the Cali burrito and it had many fries. Rice and beans were the standard, season yourself. Standard food and service, super fast and affordable. Big restaurant with inside and outside seating. Ended with the churros and flan. Those were good.

Loved everything about this place! LARGE sized cocktails, delicious entrees and mains, complimentary tortilla chips & salsa, prompt and attentive service, enjoyable live music and always fun crowd! Will be definitely be back here for more!

We went on a night with live music (fun!), but chose to sit inside. We love the decor in this place. Our server was Isabella who was very friendly and attentive. We ordered the deep fried burrito, barbacoa, and a skinny margarita. I was also able to change out refried beans to black beans. (Thanks for the accommodation!) The food was tasty and let's not forget the chips and salsa (keep em comin!) A great experience and would definitely recommend!! Thanks Casa!

Relaxing ambiance with a calm atmosphere and excellent wait staff. The margaritas were delicious and the highlight of the visit. The food was just okay, but overall it's a nice spot for drinks and good service.

Always a good meal with great atmosphere. The dining room is comfortable with plenty of room. The bar area is fantastic with a few TVs to watch the game. And their outdoor patio to also a great place to hangout.

    Burrito Bowl & Birria Tacos

Love the complimentary chips and salsa. The burrito bowl is huge and is super filling. Birria tacos are always a good dish go to. I would say the service is eh. I felt like our servers weren't really attentive. Other than that, the food is not overly priced.

I came here with my son yesterday for lunch and we had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable and the service was great and everyone was friendly. We were impressed with the dishes. I ordered carne asada and my son had a combo plate with tamal and enchiladas. There was more than enough to fill us up, but we were trying to be strategic by saving room for dessert. I almost suggested we get order our own desserts, but we ended up splitting the fried ice-cream. Thank goodness for that because it was surprisingly huge. We left very happy with enough leftovers for another meal. We will be back.

Good Mexican food. Large restaurant. Went for a Xmas group lunch of about 30 +. Sat in a private room and they offered all the typical foods.

The experience begins in a small glass-enclosed entryway where you're greeted before the hostess is notified by radio. Moments later, the glass door opens, revealing a beautifully designed speakeasy with an elegant yet inviting atmosphere. The space offers comfortably spaced bar seating, cozy booths, and tables, all surrounded by tasteful décor that perfectly captures the speakeasy era while incorporating subtle honeycomb-inspired touches. The spirit selection is impressive, and the appetizer menu is thoughtfully curated. Their specialty cocktails are creative, balanced, and beautifully presented. We sat at the bar, where our mixologist, Kalika B, was both personable and professional. I always enjoy sitting at the bar when the bartender is willing to share their craft, and Kalika did exactly that. She explained the story behind several of their custom cocktails, the history of some of their spirits, their signature custom ice program, and offered excellent appetizer recommendations. Her knowledge and enthusiasm made the experience even more enjoyable. The entire space was spotless and clearly designed with great attention to detail. It filled up quickly after opening, so I was glad we arrived when we did. Despite the growing crowd, there appeared to be plenty of staff, and the service remained attentive without ever making guests feel rushed. There is only one restroom, but during our visit it was never an issue, and there was no wait. I've been chasing speakeasies for more than 20 years, long before they became as popular as they are today. Whenever I travel, I make it a point to seek out a local speakeasy, so I've experienced quite a few over the years. Honeycomb ranks near the top of my list. It's the perfect size--not too small and not too large--with an outstanding selection of spirits, exceptional craft mocktails, knowledgeable mixologists who truly know their craft, and cocktails tailored to your palate. The atmosphere is elegant yet approachable, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable for the quality of the experience. The Honeycomb Speakeasy in Livermore is truly a destination-worthy cocktail experience. Be sure to check their Instagram for the current password, then treat yourself to one of the best speakeasy experiences in the area.

The service was fantastic, and every drink we ordered was thoughtfully crafted. Pro tip: Follow their Instagram before you go! They post their updated schedule and the weekly secret password there since it changes regularly based on bookings. Here's what we tried: Cusco Comb (1000/10): Absolutely one of the best cocktails I've ever had. It was sweet, strong, and incredibly smooth without the alcohol being overpowering. I loved it so much that I immediately ordered a second one. I would honestly come back just for this drink alone. Honeycomb After Dark (9/10): Such a fun twist on an espresso martini! It reminded me of a Vietnamese coffee with a boozy kick. As the ice cream melted, the drink became even creamier and more delicious. Gin & Tonic (6/10): I'm not personally a gin and tonic fan, but my sister really enjoyed it. She thought the ratio of gin to tonic was spot on. Fries (6/10): Super crispy with a great texture, but they were a little too salty for my taste. The only downside is that there's only one bathroom, so keep that in mind if it's busy. If you're looking for a great spot to grab drinks in downtown, I highly recommend this speakeasy. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the cocktails are outstanding, and the service is consistently excellent. I'd probably skip the food next time and eat somewhere else beforehand, then come here to enjoy the amazing drinks.

They even offer deviled eggs that I hear are pretty spectacular. We ordered the Thai chicken salad and fish tacos. The salad looked quite good and my friend enjoyed it very much. The tacos are on petite, single shells with a piece of fish, avocado and cabbage slaw on each. I happily ate every bite. A side salad would have enhanced this dish. I wish I had ordered an appetizer, like the deviled eggs or brussels sprouts, as it would have rounded out my lunch well and it would have been more filling. I noticed a steady flow of people coming and going. It was a relaxed atmosphere and we were not rushed out by any means. I hadn't seen my friend in person for at least a year so it was nice to sit and just chat in a calm environment. Located directly across First Street from Sauced. First off, this is NOT on the staff working. We genuinely felt bad for them. Management thought it was a good idea to schedule ONE bartender and ONE server on a packed Saturday night. The entire place was chaotic, customers were visibly irritated, TVs throughout the restaurant stopped working, and the poor employees were drowning trying to keep up. The stress was palpable that made the experience stressful and not enjoyable. Absolute management failure. At one point I used their self-pour beer wall and poured myself half a Modelo only for it to come out warm I was able to find another beer that was actually cold... but still charged for the warm one. The food was somehow even worse. We ordered the barbacoa nachos, wedge salad, and a kids burger with fries. The kids burger was the only edible thing. The wedge salad was drowning in ranch like someone emptied the whole bottle on it. Tomatoes tasted old and gross. Then came the nachos... tiny portion, bland chips, barely any cheese, no mango salsa like the menu claimed, and the "barbacoa" -- if you could even call it that -- was tough, fatty, and completely inedible. $74 later for one appetizer, one salad, one kids meal, and 1 1/2 beers. We only tipped because we felt bad for the server. We will NEVER be back. Thanks for ruining our Mother's Day dinner.
