I was craving a burrito and found Tacos Livermore on Yelp. I ordered for delivery. They made sure to include a variety of salsas and fresh chips (the green salsa was the best). I ordered a shredded chicken burrito with everything. This burrito was huge and normally I try to eat half and save the rest later. But it was so good I ate the whole thing at once.

Back at one of my favorite taco place. $10.99 taco Tuesday special. You get three tacos and a drink plus free chips and salsa. Great deal, can't beat the price! I would come back again and again on a Tuesday. Service is great and the store is nice and clean.

Really solid place. Small and clean dining area. Staff was very friendly. And food was really good. There are a lot of taquerias in downtown area to pick from but this might be the best of them. Def give them a try if you're in the area! Also, had 2 tvs so catch some futbol there!

My wife and I recently got dinner at Tacos Livermore on a Wednesday evening while we were stopping by Downtown. When we stepped inside, the entire restaurant was pretty empty. I ordered a "49'rs Burrito -- Meat, rice, beans, salsa, lettuce, sour cream, guac, cheese covered in enchilada sauce", and opted for lengua (beef tongue) as my protein. While we waited for our food, we helped ourselves to chips at the salsa station, which had a wide assortment of garnishes and salsas. I really enjoyed the pico de gallo they had here. Overall, I thought the burrito was just alright. My two criticisms were that the beef tongue and the enchilada sauce lathered on top both tasted a bit bland and lacked seasoning. Although the salsa from the salsa bar made the burrito significantly better, I wish the individual components of the burrito were better prepared. To the side of the plated burrito was a large mountain of lettuce garnished with a generous spoon of "guac". I put guac in quotes because I'm skeptical the guac was made purely from avocados. The watery and creamy texture of the sauce, along with the unnatural green color, is not typical of authentic guacamole. Overall, I would give my experience a 3.5 that rounds up to a 4. The large portion sizes here definitely deliver on value.

What a fresh, clean looking taco spot! The signage is great too. I had the quesabirria tacos and they tasted delicious! The only thing was my tortillas weren't as crispy as I would expect but overall the taste was delicious. They were cleaning up tables right after people left which helped to upkeep the cleanliness. My husband loved his California burrito and said was the best one he has had in Livermore hands down. We will be back!

3 huge tacos - pastor, chicken, steak

I think I found my new favorite place for tacos, and let me tell you, I'm not even a fan of tacos! But their tacos were delicious. I ordered 3 tacos- pastor, grilled chicken, and grilled beef. The pastor was my favorite, but the chicken and beef were just as good. The meat were very well seasoned, and a good amount of meat was given. These tacos weren't small either, and I like how thin the tortilla were. I also like that you can grab your own chips and salsa, and all their sauces was good! I paid about under $12 for 3 large tacos :)

Making my way downtown (Livermore)... Their lunch deal made us whip our heads around so fast. $10 for 3 tacos and a drink?? This is a solid addition to the area! It's super spacious and wasn't too busy on a weekday afternoon, so we ordered right away and sat down. Food came out in less than 5 minutes. There's a bar with different salsas + limes + radishes, and we were able to fill our own cup with whatever aguas frescas was available. Tacos were pretty good and satisfying for how hungry we were. While I've had better tacos elsewhere, I would still come back because that lunch deal is sooolid and service was prompt.

We've tried Tacos Livermore when they first opened and have been back a couple times. We didn't go often because the flavors were a bit lacking; however, I was surprised after stopping in after I hadn't been in a while. The al pastor tacos have gotten much better and tastier which means I'll be back more often! I recommend the al pastor tacos and carne en su jugo. The salsa bar is also well stocked and clean. Service is quick!

Hand down the best chicken super burrito! I have ever had! Not a fan of burritos because they have always been so unsatisfying but someone recommended this place. The service is fast and they are cordial, the ladies that take your order don't talk much which it feels a bit awkward.

Just an update, since we've now gone back for something other than tacos. The Wife had chicken fajitas, while I ordered the camarones a la diabla. Her dish was ok, the chicken wasn't like a chicken breast sliced, more like ground up meat. My dish was quite hot with the adobo sauce, but I could still taste the paprika, and the heat didn't linger long. The cerveza helped with that. We might just stick with tacos here. We did like the chip and salsa bar as well.

My husband & I decided to try this place out. We're always looking for new restaurants in town. This one has a great location right on First Street in the mix with all the downtown spots. You order at the counter. They have a pretty good variety of different dishes. I ordered a beef taco and a shrimp taco, and then their Taco Livermore pastor taco as well. My husband ordered the chile relleno burrito. We also had a side of rice & beans. I really enjoyed all three of the tacos. My husband said his burrito was good, but probably wouldn't order it again. He said the chile was only in one part of the burrito which was disappointing for all the other bites. The beans were really good and rice was as well. They had a couple good beers on tap, and the complimentary chips & salsa were good too! The staff was very friendly. We will probably be back again.

Chicken enchilada. Chicken was very dry.

My bf and i were craving some Mexican Cuisine and decided to try something new. We've passed by this place a few times now and decided to try it. The staff are very kind and give you a warm welcome, and the service is very timely. I also enjoyed the ambiance of Mexican music at a reasonable volume. Unfortunately the food was less than sub par.... They charged me twice for an enchilada so we paid $50. I ordered an enchilada plate and the enchilada sauce was sour and old, the chicken was hard and dry, but the rice and beans were great of course. Our horchata was basically just colored water. However; My bf enjoyed his asada quesadilla. The salsa bars salsa was a week old and sour. The churros were dry and crunchy with no flavor. We will not be coming to this establishment again. Please do not put week old spoiled salsa in your salsa bar.

Came here for late night for cinco de mayo and was pleasantly surprised!! Everything we ordered was so delicious!! You order at the front and they bring the food out to you. We ordered: - carne en su jugo -2 fish tacos -2 tacos livermore -1 quesabirria -churros The carne en su jugo and the tacos livermore was our favorite!! The carne en su jugo was super flavorful and sooo good!! It comes with your choice of corn or flour tortillas that you can make your own taco with on the side. The tacos livermore was so delicious and was the cashier's recommendation. It had al pastor meat and hints of pineapple. The fish tacos were also really delicious. The quesabirria was okay, I didn't order it with consume so it was just alright to me. The churros were also good!! The strawberries that it came with were really sweet, you can tell it's from the farmers market and not store bought. Don't forget to grab complimentary chips and salsa on the corner (: Definitely coming back for the tacos livermore and the carne en su jugo. Love that it is located in the heart of downtown livermore!

As our organizer mentioned, they were fully booked that night so do reserve early. Warm earthy tones in the decor made for a comfortable, inviting atmosphere and the light jazz ensemble and lovely vocal performances elevated the evening's experience. The ambiance is a strong point. Being a paella newbie, I definitely looked forward to tasting a version especially after watching cooking shows over the years. The saffron broth rice nicely counterbalanced the seasoned shrimp, sausage and other ingredients. Thumbs up. I had several portions. The tempura cauliflower - good. KR Enchiladas were cheesey and rich, plumply filled, and the accompanied rice accented with corn. Since we shared the three enchiladas, my small piece was enough for me. Suggest passing on the sourdough side that came with the paella. The bread had melted, but cooled cheese on it and there was not much free broth in the paella to soak therewith anyway. With water being the group's primary beverage, perhaps request a carafe of water at the table to ease the thirstier folks (me). Our wait person gave helpful suggestions and efficient service. The rest of the staff had hustle. As normal with live music, be prepared to raise your voice and repeat yourself in conversations. Parking is ample, with a short walk, in this Nob Hill Foods shopping center.

One - when I walked in I'm not sure if the person that was working there was speaking to her friend or family member but it seems like I interrupted their conversation so it took several minutes for me to make my order(I actually almost left) but I proceeded to place part one of my order which was a dutch crunch burrito with the brisket meat. This was not bad tasting at all when I got back to try everything after shopping nearby. However the carnitas burrito was terrible. I'm not sure what happened. I took two bites and it just wasn't good at all. I was highly disappointed. I appreciated that they give me free chips and salsas but even the salsas weren't that great...not really spicy for "habanero" and the others just seemed watered down as do most Mexican restaurants. So for 32$ I was totally let down and I really dislike spending money on food that I don't like and then I need to spend more money getting food because I'm still hungry. I'm happy that I at least tried the place but now I can see why there was only 2 other diners in the afternoon/early evening. I guess my quest for good Mexican food in this city will continue. I don't think I can recommend or return to this establishment anytime soon.

Yea I know its a little late but the place had quite a few people in the dining and bar area for a saturday night. I know for myself if we're eating close to closing, I leave a good tip bc I appreciate their service when its close to closing time. We waited at the front hostess area for 2 to 3 min before anyone came out. 3 employees walked by us and said nothing as they saw us standing there waiting to be seated. Finally we got seated and our waitress came to ask us if we wanted drinks and we ordered at 9:17p. We received our food at exactly 9:30p which I thought was amazing timing and it looked okay. But.... as the waitress gave us our food, she placed my husband's fajita plate down then walked around the table towards me. As she was doing that, she slid the tortila holder across the table and it hit my husbands dinner plate.. she said nothing and I thought that was so rude. She placed my food down and then asked "do you guys want anthing bc the bar is closing and they wont make you anything after they close!" I said "we're fine." Again, we get it you guys are closing but come on. My husband asked her if he could get a refill on some salsa.. she yanked the salsa from the table and went to fill it. Returned with it and slid it across the table a couple inches and walked away. Groups of people started to leave the dining area and head home and before we knew it we were the only ones there. As we were eating, I could see the waitress sitting by the wall with her arms crossed looking at us and around the room. It made us uncomfortable and I could tell she was so irritated.. it was 9:40. The other employees were cleaning the tables and placing chairs on tables around us to clean the floors Before long, we couldn't take it. I was just annoyed so we asked for to-go boxes. She got us our boxes and a bag to carry the boxes. We felt SO rushed and really annoyed. Yea you close at 9:30 but you're still making money at the end of the day. We paid at the end and gave her a low tip. I was prepared to give her wayy more but I couldnt. Her attitude was something else. I feel like the restaurant has gone down and its unfortunate. The food was okay and I don't think we'll be back. It's a shame bc I really liked this location and building. I don't know what her name was but she was around 5 foot 1-2 inches tall, mid 40s, short black hair with a purple tint to it, and she wore a silver butterfly ring on her right ring finger. As we walked out, the feeling we got was that we were holding EVERYONE UP so they couldn't close up. But as we walked to the car, we saw several people still sitting in the bar area.. eating.. drinking.. etc. 11 people to be exact. So what was the rush...
