We have eaten at this restaurant many times in the past, since it's convenient for us to meet with our daughter and grandchildren who live in Sacramento as it is a half-way point for all of us. However, after the experience we had when we last visited, we have decided we will no longer patronize this eatery. There were 6 adults in our group and our total bill was $88.00. Our grandchildren left a tip, in CASH, on the table, and our daughter said she checked it and it was over 15% of the total bill. We put the $88.00 charge on our Visa card. When we got our Visa bill, for whatever reason an employee or manager had added $5.00 to the total charge, making the amount that showed up on our Visa bill $91.00. We immediately reported this 'act of dishonesty' to our Visa provider and I did write a letter to the owner/manager of the restaurant but have never received a response. I warned our grandchildren to ALWAYS make sure they get a copy of any charge slip, whether it be a debit charge to their bank account or a credit card account, as we have had this same thing happen to us before. If an establishment does not operate with honesty and integrity, we are not interested in giving them our business. I realize $5.00 isn't an overwhelming amount, but if they add sums to other charge slips throughout the day, they are upping their profits - and that's not right!! read more

This is the best you're going to find in the area, however unfortunate that might sound. That said, the food is good, they have a good beer selection and fantastic margaritas, and the prices are great. read more

This was one of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever been to and I've been to quite a few. Their Macho Burrito truly is macho.

The food is AMAZING!!! Great portions, and salsa is the best around. But the margaritas are so weak, you can't taste any alcohol at all and need a few to even catch a buzz. read more

Went here for dinner after a day at the track. It wasn't too bad and seemed like it was one of the nicer places to eat. Also, it was easy to get too..right by the hotel. The customer service was great! The food wasn't too bad. We will probably try out a different place next time we go to the track, just to see what else there is in the area, but this place wasn't that bad. read more

The waiter is the rudest SOB you'll ever run into. There is one other waiter I'm familiar with whose name is Victor. Victor is very nice and professional. This other character acts like he's the manager. He will tell you he can't change an order even though he just turned it in a minute ago and the error was his for not asking what kind of beans I wanted. He is condenscending, arrogant and willfully ignores customers. Why he has lasted here is a mystery, maybe he's related to the owners. I believe his Spanish-speaking wife works there clearing tables. Came here out of convenience as it was next to our hotel & we could walk. The portions they give you are pretty good size. We had their 2 for $20 deal, so we got an appetizers & 2 entrees. The food tasted really good and the service was fabulous. They kept checking to see if we needed anything and were very friendly. So if your passing through Willows CA, this place is a pretty good choice!! read more

Came here with my co workers for dinner and was impressed with the bar tender and servers. The food was very good and they kept on top of the drinks, chips and salsa through the meal. Never had to wait for anything. Had a seafood dish that was more than plenty food for such a reasonable price. Dinner and a few beers came to less than 25$ out the door. Liked it enough to go back the next day to watch the A's play ball on the big TV over the bar. This and Black Bear seem to be the only good food in town. read more

If you are in Willows and you are hungry, the food is good. I had a chicken quesadilla which seemed salty but ok and they brought out the regular version vs the lite. The woman server also brought the wrong Margaritas. After she left, the male server who sung and whistled probably made the place. :) read more

Karen makes the best Margarita in town. Food is hit or miss as is food service but the bar is great if Karen is tending to it.

The drinks and food are good however everything is a little over priced. You do get a lot of food so maybe that's where the higher price comes in. Go early cause it fills up fast and good luck not waiting in line. I would recommend this place to people passing through or locals that want a nice outing. read more

We ate here last week. We have now eaten at the Casa Ramos in Willows and in Folsom. The food is good. Not great but more than adequate. They have an extensive menu with all the typical Mexican favourites as well as a few things not found on most mexican restaurant menus; like a lamb shank. We sat in the bar so we could watch the Giants game. I ordered a rum drink from the drink specials menu. It was supposed to be made with a higher end rum. I don't know if they were out of the rum or what but instead of good rum it was made with Myer's Rum and Ron Rico Rum. No problem if I was told, but the bartender tried to pass it off as the good stuff. Also the drink price did not reflect the lower grade of rum. So.... Food Good. Drinks okay if you make sure they are made right. read more

Poor service, waitresses/waiters don't come and check on you to make sure everything is alright out if you need anything. You need to get their attention to bring you more beverages, or anything else. They dunt bring you your bill to the table. You need to go hunt them down to pay your bill and if you're paying with cash count your change if they ever find a place that they can get you change from. Pretty redicuolous not having a cash register at the entrance. They've never given me my bill and when given cash the amount they do give back is always wrong once they find a place where there's cash at. I've given them several tries, but just can't keep giving them my hard earned money for crappy service. Chico has two Casa Ramos's and they are excellent and not that far off a drive from Willows. Actually there good is a lot better over in Chico too. I don't understand how this restaurant can be so crappy when the ones in Chico are excellent service and food. read more

I walked out thinking how what a bad idea this was! The service was so slow and food was well below par. The food was not seasoned at all...I could have done much better at home. I would only recommend this place to those that are really hungry and don't care if the food is not that good. The only thing that I liked was the size if the plates. My group and I just visited this restaurant for dinner before heading home from a long day at Thunderhill. I ordered shrimp fajitas with corn tortillas. We waited 45 mins to get the food. After 45 mins the waiter came out with a big tray and distributed everyone's order, except mine. He asked me what I ordered and after I told him he looked at his book and walked off into the kitchen. Two of my friends ordered corn tortillas and got flour. So after waiting for another 15 mins with no explanation, the waiter walks in with my order, with flour tortillas when I specifically asked for corn. It was nearly impossible to communicate with my waiter so I didn't even make an effort. Overall, there was a strong lack of costumer care. The only reason I give this place 2 stars is because the food was decent and the portions were rather filling. read more

The worst customer service ever!!! The food was very boring no real Mexican food taste. Went for happy hour and ask the server about specials and ordered the special but when we got our ticket we were charged reg. price. When we asked the server about the special prices they then told us those prices were "bar" prices only and we were in the restaurant so even though we had ordered off the happy hour flyer on our table we did not get those prices. The server and manager got so angry at us for expecting those price they started yelling and telling us we should not get those specials. What a joke!! I contacted the website to let them know how bad we were treated but I never received any email, phone call or any contact from them. Apparently customer service is not their priority. We went into a parking lot full of people and once we got inside three people were actually in the restaurant. Not sure where all the cars came from. We ordered and when our food came out the edges were hard and the inside was cold. When we mentioned this to the employees it was no big deal. They covered all our food with enchilada sauce and only one person actually ordered an enchilada. The salsa was watered down, no taste and disgusting. This was the worse service and worse dinning experience me and Lar have EVER EVER had! From the moment we walked in the bartender/waitress was so incredibly rude! Lar was sitting there for 10 minutes she didn't even acknowledge him! A Hispanic man walked in and sat next to Lar and she walked right passed Lar and ask the Hispanic man if he wanted a drink (all in Spanish). Lar finally spoke up and said "hello am I invisible" she ignored him and Lar got louder saying "OLA" she still ignored him... he did it again even louder "OLA"!! She finally acknowledged and ask what do you want! Lar orders 2 Cadillac margarita and guacamole but when they brought the guacamole they didn't bring chips. So I tried to get her attention, with no reply from her, I got the attention of a male waiter and he acknowledge the order for chips and Salsa but 10 mins later still nothing!! I'm so pissed!! I'm not sure what the hell we are still doing here! Except we have these margaritas to drink!! Soooo we order the seafood molcajete to share!! It came in a small sauce bowl, no sour cream, no jalapeño, no guacamole, and most of all it was Luke freaking warm!!! OMGosh!! Trust me!! I will NEVER go back! If have to ever have to stop in Willows again to eat I will go to Black Bear or McDonalds, defiantly NEVER THIS CASA RAMOS AGAIN!! read more
