    Asada burrito

The food was very good, the taste was full of flavor and you can tell was authentic and made fresh. We highly recommend!

Interiors are super clean with well spaced furniture.

I wish I had more time to explore the great spots along HWY 5, but I'm usually in the midst of a 5-6 hour drive each way so known options which are quick and easy and provide consistent quality win the day. And fast food is not an option. For 30 years our normal stopping point often becomes Williams. Several strong local options. BUT his time, on our southbound return from the River, the timing for Willows worked our lunch stop. With the help of Yelp we found Elenita's. Although a few blocks off the freeway we have it a try. BAM! It's so rewarding to get the "wholly schnickies" experience when you take a chance! Well, to be perfectly honest it wasn't much of a risk. Elenita's had a 4.5 star avg. with about 100 reviews. Tough to take that! My son had the carne-asada super burrito. Lite rice. For me, although it was lunchtime, I hadn't had breakfast yet so I went for a breakfast burrito lite rice and lite beans. I chose chorizo as my protein. Chorizo can be tricky if the rest isn't focused. I asked for "crispy" chorizo and they #nailedit! @elenitas food was authentic and fresh. The restaurant was clean. Super clean. And the tables were well spaced. Last, the owner was working the counter. Her smile was genuine when she talked about Willows being a small town and how they all shit down to watch youth sports on Saturdays. Take the time to visit. Call ahead and she'll have it waiting for you! 5-star!

    Voted best in Glenn County!

My all around favorite Mexican food. I love the food. Especially the carnitas and beans. The service is exemplary. Their customers matter to them. Prices are fair, food is delicious!

Chicken salad to go. Chicken was cooked perfectly- good flavor and crispy. No burn at all.

Food was decent and the service was fine. Some things were good, others were just average. Overall not bad, but not outstanding either.

It was $2.15 ($2 plus tax), and was exactly what you'd expect from a good street taco. I would have ordered more, but didn't see the small price list on the window until after I had ordered. (Their main sign didn't have any prices on it, which I always see as a red flag for getting overcharged.) The carne asada was perfect, and was served over two tiny corn tortillas (which were also quickly charred on the grill) topped with onion, cilantro, and a slice of lemon. They didn't give me any salsa, but I also didn't ask for any, and honestly, the meat with fresh lemon juice stood on its own. I would absolutely come back here again, and if it continues to be this good, it could become a regular experience. The only drawback was some teenagers sitting in front of the taco truck were having a *very* loud and sexually explicit conversation, to the degree that they should have been asked to leave, but were not. One of the teens yelled at the top of his lungs from about a foot behind me, "I LOVE BIG BLACK ROCKS!" Except, dear Yelp reader, I regret to inform you that the word he actually used only rhymed with the word "rock." You can guess what it is, and you're guessing correctly. I understand wanting to give teens a safe place to hang out, but not if they're going to make it unsafe/super uncomfortable for others. But that's just my opinion. Taco was fire though.

I've been here plenty of times over the years, although I definitely don't make it in as often as I used to. Every time I come back though, I wonder why I waited so long. It's classic small-town diner food in the best way. Good portions, food comes out hot, and you're actually full when you leave. Breakfast especially is hard to beat when you just want a real breakfast without someone trying to reinvent eggs and charge you $19 for them. The service has always been part of what makes Nancy's Nancy's. Friendly, casual, and familiar. It feels less like going out to eat and more like stopping by a place that's just always been there. And being right at the airport gives it a little personality of its own. You can sit down, eat a good meal, watch what's going on outside, and forget for a minute that places like this are getting harder to find. I may not be one of the regulars anymore, but Nancy's will always be one of those local spots I'm glad we still have.

If you're from around here, you've probably eaten here more times than you could count over the years. I don't go nearly as often as I used to, but when I do, it's still pretty much what I remember. Big portions, good comfort food, and a menu big enough that somehow everyone can find something. Breakfast is always a safe bet, especially when you want an actual breakfast and not three decorative pancakes on a plate that somehow cost $25. The portions have never exactly been shy either. Black Bear seems to operate under the assumption that nobody should leave wondering whether they ate enough, and I can respect that. Service at the Willows location has always been pretty solid in my experience. Friendly, casual, and usually quick, even when the place gets busy. It has that familiar small-town restaurant feeling where there's a decent chance you'll recognize somebody at another table before you finish eating. I may not eat here all the time anymore, but it's still one of those dependable Willows spots. Nothing complicated, nothing pretending to be something it isn't. Just a big plate of food, good service, and a very real possibility that you'll need a nap afterward.
