I feel like it would be more like 3.5 stars but since that it's not an option, I rounded up. Overall this is a pretty good Mexican Restaurant in Purcellville. We have been here a few times and always have a decent experience. The service is hey ally pretty good and the food always comes out fast. The chips and salsa are good. Which is a plus because some restaurants have salsa that is hit or miss. And the quest with chorizo is awesome! I enjoy a cup of it all to myself because some other family members aren't big fans of cheese... fine by me! At the most recent visit I got the chicken and rice... a version of which is a favorite of mine at any Mexican restaurant. Honestly, this one was not my favorite. The cheese they put on it was almost more of a sauce and the dish ended up feeling like a pasta dish. The chicken was also over cooked and tough. My husband got the Tacos Al Carbon and he really enjoyed them. And their rice is really good! They also have a pretty good kids menu selection which we like. But honestly, their beef tacos are just okay. Whatever they cook the beef in made the crunchy taco soggy after awhile. It's a good place to go if you don't want to drive too far and have a craving for Mexican Food. But don't go expecting it to knock your socks off. read more

I had to cool off a bit before I wrote this. Was such an awful experience. To begin with our server acted like he didn't want to be there. Then it went down hill from there. He was specifically told no guac or sour cream on my husband's plate at all we are always very clear on this. Our tea was hot so we asked for ice, twice, before another waiter was asked. Well hubby's meal was ruined because they did not follow directions, covered in sour cream and guac. No we did not reorder as it took forever for the first plate. From then on out he avoided our table. my granddaughter wanted a brownie so against my better judgment we had him tracked down by another server. After 10 minutes and no brownie we got up, went to the front told them to forget the brownie and let us pay. oh no here came the brownie to go so I paid and left. And the brownie was burnt beyond consumption. worst waste of 55$ ever. never again read more

Ordered the Enchiladas Trio over the phone and on their online menu it said the price was $14.99. When I went to pick it up, the guy at the front got my food and said the total before tax was $16.99. I told them the online menu said $14.99 and he said this was without lettuce and if I wanted lettuce then it was $2 more. I told him I did not see this on the menu and he talked with some other people at the front and said he would sell it to me for $14.99 and not charge me for the extra lettuce, (as if he was making a big concession not to charge me). I thought he was trying to overcharge me $2 and I when got home and looked at the menu and it said that lettuce was included in the Enchiladas Trio. Beware that when you go to pick up your odder, they may try to overcharge you. The food was very bac and included a photo of my dinner plus the small shreds of lettuce they tried to charge me $2 for. This place is gross. I don't know why we keep thinking it'll be better every time we go. I guess we needed our yearly reminder. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting, it's clear they never clean them. Poop smeared around the toilet and the black ring water lines. The worst part is there was a server using the restroom, who saw the state of it, and did nothing about it. Have they no pride? The food was bad. The steaks had no seasoning and no flavor. The pork belly was brutal; wasn't fresh and tasted like it was reheated under a heat lamp for an hour. The rice had zero flavor. Items were missing from entrees. I hope no one gets sick. The service was worse than the food. Inattentive server, took a while to place an order, never cleared a plate or a cup. We had cups piling up, appetizer dishes that were obviously finished. We had to ask someone to take some plates off the table because dessert was coming. We sat right by the kitchen entrance. How many empty handed servers walked by our table seeing the pile and never grabbed anything. I noticed our server hanging out in front a lot but wasn't bothering with our table or any of their other tables. There were a lot of servers and only two tables with customers. What were they all doing? There were dirty tables right next to us. And nasty bathrooms. If the bathrooms are that nasty, can you imagine the kitchen? Yuck. read more

Found this place using GetUpside and it's pretty nice inside. Nice ambiance. Full of happy white diners. I enjoyed my margarita! However the margarita was almost TEN DOLLARS!!!!! Actually comes in a large margarita unlike some places. Waiter was nice and attentive. I got the enchiladas and taco. They were good the chicken enchilada was a bit tough though. I guess the chicken was dry. Get the beef one instead. The taco is on a hard shell. I kinda like soft shells better. Overall a good experience! Loved the queso with chorizo and the Michaladas are on point. I love they have Michaladas on the menu. The wings were really good which I wasn't expecting. They have a great Happy Hour. The staff was super friendly and the customer service was great. The tacos were average which is the only reason they didn't get 5 stars. This is the absolute place to go! I love their food. My favorites are the tacos Al carbon (the pork!! To die for!) and the Chori Pollo. Omg. OMG!!! Either of those two are absolutely delicious. Casa!! My go-to spot for girls night with my roommate. I come here a lot with my family as well. Johnny is the best!! My dad and his fiancé are obsessed with the margaritas he makes. The have drink special on Tuesdays which is awesome! The food is always really good too. I've never had an issue and we try to support once a week if we can. We've been looking for a new mexican restaurant since our favorite closed a while back and think we found it. Happened to be out this way and in a mood for mexican food. So glad we stopped here. The hubs had a serious craving for nachos so I called in an order for him to pick up on the way home. I ordered the carne asada and he had the nachos with all the meats. The steak was so big, they had to fold it to get it in the container!! It was perfectly cooked and tender with SO much flavor!! We have been ordering from here for the last 3 years. Yesterday, one of our menu items was incorrect. We ordered a vegetarian combo online and we received beef. I called and shared the information and was told a manager would respond back to me. I have heard nothing. So last night I sent an individual comment on the website, still no response. It is not that I wanted a refund, I wanted an apology and recognition for the mistake. This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in the area.
