I recently visited this place, and I had a pretty good experience overall. The service was great; the staff was friendly and attentive. When it comes to the food, I enjoyed it, but I did find the tacos and quesadilla a bit on the oily side, which was a little disappointing. On the bright side, everything was flavorful, and I appreciated the variety. Another plus was that the restrooms were clean, which always scores points in my book. Stopped in to grab a quick lunch after a Home Depot run. The place was pretty empty, so I was curious if it would live up to the reviews. I was pleasantly surprised, the service was phenomenal, the drinks were delicious and the carne asada was prepared perfectly. It was such a lovely experience and the staff is warm and inviting. The dining room was exceptionally clean, with a great open vibe. Plenty of parking, easy to get to and fair prices. Don't skip the flan for dessert, it was thicker and more decadent than anticipated, great with a coffee. read more

Decided to try this new, family-owned restaurant since it is close to my house. I met a friend I hadn't seen in a while to catch up. The servers were great. They were friendly and checked in on us numerous times while we chatted. Drinks and food were brought out quickly. They have a lunch menu until 3:00pm with several specials that are reasonably priced. I tried one of their bowls with fajita steak meat. The meat was plentiful and I was able to opt for just beans and no rice. The pico had flavor but not much spice. The space is inviting with plenty of booth and table seating. This building has had many different restaurants in it. I hope Casa Tequila Grill can make it their permanent home. read more

the location is pretty convenient, there's a decent amount of parking, if you don't go when super busy. the restaurant is clean and has a nice ambiance. the booth seats are quite comfy & the staff is rather welcoming. the food was quite good, however, the prices are pretty steep. two of us had a 3-item combo, the third in our party had a jalisco steak. the combo was pretty plentiful in terms of portions, the steak was meager at best. the dishes were very flavorful, for sure, but for 3 people who didn't order any drinks, apps, or dessert we walked out $92 lighter & that hurt a bit. we can expect that at flemings or another upscale steak house, but casual mexican... c'mon! that is rather insane & certainly left us wishing that we had gone to jabanero's nearby or another more reasonably priced mexican restaurant. read more

Update: I have now been several times. My most recent visit, I asked for advice: Pollo Carnitas or Pollo Mexicano with crema and poblano peppers -- the gentleman did not hesitate, and said the Pollo Mexicano with the poblano peppers (I love when reps from a restaurant confidently guide me!). We found this place while driving down parker and wanted to try something new. The place is spacious, clean and very bright/colorful. The server did a great job explaining the menu and clarified our order to make sure it was right. Our food in the restaurant was very good. We took home their green chili and some black bean soup. They were disappointing, but not enough so that I wouldn't go back. The chili was a little salty and very brothy. The black bean soup needed a lot of everything to not taste like canned. Wow. We decided to swing in on a whim after my wife drove past the place, and man, I'm glad we did. We showed up a little early so it wasn't busy yet, which probably helped, because the service was on point from the minute we walked in. The food? Fantastic. The salsa, the entrées -- everything tasted fresh and a cut above your average Mexican joint. My wife and I had a couple of margaritas too, and those things were dangerously good. Even the kids were happy, and their menu actually had more variety than the usual "nuggets or nothing" you see at most spots. The atmosphere was solid clean, comfortable, and well-kept. Even the booster seat for our daughter was spotless, which any parent knows is a minor miracle. Overall, we're glad we stopped in. We live nearby and saw this new spot opened next to our car wash. Decided to come in and try it! We happened to come during happy hour and got $6.50 house margaritas. My husband got the pollo asado con huevos and the yolk was runny (YUM!) and the chicken was cooked perfectly- tender and juicy. Enjoyed this place. Went in for a late lunch on a Monday so it was pretty quiet. Was pleasantly surprised to find out that it was happy hour (11AM - 4PM) which are unusual times or happy hour but I'm not complaining. House marg was only $6.50! Service was very attentive and friendly. Enjoy the Huevos Rancheros (very good but won't blow your mind). The dining room is nicely decorated with cool tables and carved wood backed booths.
