I've heard so much hype about Casadoro and was really excited to finally check them out! My mom and I went for a girls night, and we really enjoyed sitting out on their gorgeous patio. Even though it turned into a rainy night, it didn't ruin the vibe because they were able to put down the windows and make it an enclosed space. Our server was friendly and attentive, and the appetizers started out strong with an extremely fresh burrata and prosciutto, great bread, and fried zucchini. The entrees were okay. My mom had the shrimp primavera, and the gnocchi was pretty mushy, and I had the quattro formaggi which was good but could've used more flavor. The lemon cheesecake was an excellent dessert and so creative! I'd like to come back and try some more menu items, and I can definitely see why it's popular because there's nowhere on the Berlin turnpike like this!

Cannot wait to return for a pasta & wine night !!! It was packed but we arrived at the perfect time for a seat at the bar for the K-derby. The drinks were good, food was good, desserts very good. I have the sense I didn't have whatever their "signature" dish is, and look forward to exploring more of their menu. Our bartender was attentive and friendly, as were the people around us.

Went with a party of 10, I made reservations and we were able to sit down on time. Service was wonderful. Drinks stayed filled, and the waiter came by to make sure we didn't want any refills on any alcoholic beverages as they were being consumed. He recommended a few appetizers for the table. We got to try the chef special, garlic bread with ricotta, and calamari. All very good. As was the bread and oil that I think comes with every meal. After I heard the specials, I went with the short rib gnocchi, but the salmon with spaghetti squash was a close second. I wasn't disappointed in my dish. It was a really good size and I ended up taking half of it back with me, something tells me it's gonna be even better the next day as most Italian food is. My one regret is that I didn't order the lemon cheesecake to go. All of the desserts sounded amazing, especially the hazelnut tart, however, the lemon cheesecake is super cute and I heard from other people that have been to this restaurant before that it is delicious. Maybe next time!

Visited Casadoro, for the FIRST time, yesterday night (2/6/26). The place was veeeeeeeeery LIT and clearly popular. Parking was tough and some guests spent 10+ minutes finding a spot, so arrive early. We had reservations and were seated right away, but because it was packed, service was slow. Drinks took about 15 minutes, appetizers about 20, and entrees roughly 35 minutes. Food-wise, everything was good overall. I had the bolognese -- great flavor, though the pasta could've been cooked a bit longer. Calamari tasted good ,but lacked seasoning and crunch. My mom enjoyed the salmon, especially the potato purée she subbed in; green beans were just okay. The lemon cheesecake was tasty, though not what we expected presentation-wise. One downside: Salads were offered in a way that made them sound complimentary, but they were $11 each and added up quickly. Also note that automatic gratuity is added for larger parties (ours was 8)...so it was $85. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves. We'd definitely come back, just on a less busy night.

I was excited to finally try Casadora after hearing mixed reviews, and it ended up being the perfect spot for a ladies' lunch. The restaurant has a casual, relaxed vibe with an open-concept layout. It's beautiful decorated and immediately felt welcoming. We had a large round table towards the back, which was ideal for catching up and gave us some privacy. Service was excellent. I wish I could remember our server's name because she was fantastic-she made great recommendations, checked on us often, patiently gave us time to decide and even took several photos of our group. The menu is extensive, and everything we ordered was delicious. I had the chicken parm, which was perfectly seasoned and breaded, juicy and tender, with classic red sauce. What really made the dish stand out was the pasta: small snail shaped shells (lumache) tossed in a vodka sauce. The shape held onto the sauce beautifully, making every bite delicious. It absolutely hit the mark and completely satisfied my craving. My friends ordered veal milanese, chicken milanese and the quattro formaggi pizza and everyone loved their meals. They also have a great selection of cocktails and mock tails. I had the Tuscan Orchard which is made with fig vodka and pear cognac. All I have to say is YUM!! Portions are generous-everyone brought leftovers home (sadly, I was visiting from out of town so that wasn't an option for me). There's also and outdoor dining area that appears to be used year-round, though it wasn't open during our visit. Overall, Casadoro lives up to the hype. Reservations are highly recommended. The restaurant was packed when we visited on a Sunday afternoon. It was the perfect spot for a relaxed lunch with friends, and I'll definitely be back.

This place is a family favorite and we always have a wonderful time here. Whether it's just a date night or a whole family reunion needing an extra long table, it always manages to be the perfect spot. We have also had some amazing servers here, many of whom have gone above and beyond to make the experience special and fun for our son when he's with us. The food is delicious, feels like authentic Italian and in a nice, modern atmosphere. We will be back again and again!

I have been to Casadoro many times since it's opening ! And I must say I have always had a great experience I mostly sit at the bar but today we got a table in the back patio area . Which was nice covered and heated and our waitress was fabulous . She got us seated got waters took our drink orders and got us started with apps and dinner options all within a timely manner and constantly checked on us throughout the dinner ! To start of I got the aperol spritz which is fantastic already transported to Italy before the meal starts We then got served the house bread , fresh crispy on the outside and soft on the inside served with oil . Our waitress told us about the specials and we got the eggplant riccota which was amazing ! Highly recommend For my entree I got the chic ken parm . The chicken was a large portion and cooked perfectly and served with a vodka sauce pasta . Which was delicious ! Highly recommend ! Obviously I will be back I have never had any issues with service and the food is always delicious . And they have a good happy hour option too !

We went to Casadoro for an early dinner and sat at the bar. The bartenders are always incredibly hardworking and attentive. The food is always fresh and delicious. The calamari came with a cream chipotle aioli style sauce and was fresh and crispy. The pizza had some char but was equally delicious (at little on the spicy side but good). Crust was fluffy but the inside was a little on the saucy side. Overall great experience with relaxed ambiance.

We came here on a busy Friday night- We were seated with our reservation very quickly. Both the restaurant and parking lot are very big. The setup is very pretty, though tables are pretty close together. There is an outdoor area converted to indoor for winter, which is where we were seated. Our waiter for very good though it seemed like staff may have been stretched a bit thin. He still did well getting drinks for our large party and the bar was a bit backed up. That being said I think the cocktails were my favorite part of the experience. I tried the sangria and another house cocktail, both of which were very very good. I ordered the rigatoni vodka with chicken which I enjoyed, though I think the menu and prices reflect food that is fancier than what it actually is. My friends tried the seafood pasta special which they loved. We tried the ricotta appetizer which was not very good- the ricotta had way to much lemon added and most of our group did not enjoy. The cheeseboard and meatballs were both quite good though. One person in our party had an issue with needing a new plate as his appetizer plate was a bit dirty and said his pasta came out hard. Portion sizes were adequate/ fairly large, though not heaping portion sizes like other Italian places. Overall, I would return- their pizzas looked good and I would be willing to come back to try this and some more drinks from their cocktail menu.

After 7 months I have returned. I'm actually with the family celebrating a birthday. It was a group of 8 of us. The weather was beautiful and we were able to sit in the patio to enjoy the summer weather we are having in October! It's lovely out there! Service was wonderful! And the food even better! Just as good! Everyone was satisfied. From The kids to the adults .. Some had left overs because it was too much and others because portions was just right and they were very hungry! Even though we had left overs there's always room for dessert! My gluten free dish for pasta was incredible! Couldn't even tell it was GF! Soo Yumm!! And the dessert , nice to be able to have a sweet ending! I do wish they had more GF options for apps. Needless to say, we had a fantastic dinner celebrating and everyone went home very happy and stuffed!

The service here was excellent. Very accommodating and pleasant demeanor. Even calling to make a reservation was easy and pleasant. The restaurant is very pretty and big, and the lighting was perfect. The Italian meatballs were fantastic. I also tried a bite of the shrimp scampi appetizer and it was delicious, wish I ordered it. My steak had a nice outer crust and was juicy inside, and the mashed potatoes were seasoned perfectly. All in all a wonderful experience!

My husband surprised me coming here for lunch one day. I've been wanting to come for dinner, but, it was nice to try for lunch. Very welcoming just like Doro Marketplace. (If you haven't been there, that is an absolute must try!! ) Ambiance was comfortable. The service was great! Our server was very attentive. The food we had was very good, the Italian Chopped Salads, one with Burrata, one with meatballs. Loved them. Those are delicious meatballs!! We also split the lemon cheesecake. (Sorry no photo) It was amazing. I will not be splitting next time!! LOL. I'm looking forward to dinner here! I definitely recommend!!

I went to Casadoro for Valentine's Day dinner. The reservation made in mid-January, but can probably be made with less time in advance if it is not a busy day. The restaurant is a perfect place for date night, with a nice interior and a great overall setup. The food was also amazing. For the appetizer, we got the fried calamari, which was served with tartar sauce. This was simply amazing, as it was cooked and seasoned to perfection. I got the cacio e pepe, which was creamy and tasty. My girlfriend got the NY strip steak, served on top of mashed potatoes and with a side of green beans. This was also a great dish and made Casadoro a great experience.

We were cautious coming to this place due to the appearance of the outside, but once we were in it was so much fun. Agus, aka rawbartender, was Ah-mazing and truly made the night fun. He was truly such a vibe!! I ordered the SpongeBob, which was Goslings rum, pineapple spice, ginger, lime, angostura bitters. Especially with the show that was put on, my drink tasted even better. It was a Smokey, yet smooth and refreshing drink! We also got the Snow White, on the sweeter side made with Pear vodka, orgeat, pear juice, lemon juice, cinnamon. And of course, we can't forget our schooling in tequila and Mezcal from Agus. He was very informative of what he was serving and we tried a few different shots. The mussel sauce was unique compared to a typical tomato base, which we really appreciated. For my entrée, though, I was disappointed to see that the tuna salad I always order had completely changed. It used to be an arugula salad with Asian flavors and the tuna served on top. Now it It's a Niçoise salad, and the tuna is awkwardly placed on the side. Nothing about the tuna tasted like it did before. I'm usually a sucker for ahi tuna, but this was honestly one of the most disappointing ahi dishes I've ever had. It felt totally incohesive with the salad next to it. I really wish they didn't change the menu so frequently. Once I finally find an entrée I genuinely look forward to, it disappears. PLEASE post a sign on the door with an arrow showing which way to go. Also, the door says it's for disable folks, but it's locked. OK - My griping aside... Coming in, I was quickly greeted and seated. The staff here was GREAT! Very engaging and VERY helpful! The menu here is AMAZING! Good thing it's a joint that specializes in small plates and that I was part of a group of three, it gave us the ability to try a bunch of items; seven, in fact and that's not including dessert! The flavors from their vegetarian and vegan dishes were so darn good, you don't miss the meat! Everything was plated beautifully and perfectly! We also placed our entire order (not desserts) all at once and they brought them out as they were made, which worked perfectly with our timing too. They not only have a full bar here, they have a "craft cocktail" quality bar! Upon walking in, one of the first things I noticed was their yellow chartreuse! Of course, next to this was green. So, when I sat down I asked about it, and my server told me how they were able to get this and so I ordered a Last Word, which came out SPOT-ON PERFECT! When it came to the food, some favs of ours - Their Watermelon Crudo - This looked and had the texture of tuna - AMAZING!! The Vegan Empanadas had amazing flavor and texture! I also liked their Stuffed Peppers - The "Samosa Potatoes" in them really hit nicely as well as the sauce on top. Save room for dessert, they have some great options here! We couldn't decide, so the 3 of us ordered 4! We tried their crème Brûlée, their Unbirthday cake, Tres Leches Tiramisu, and their Brûléed Cornbread. The Unbirthday cake was nice - reminded me of what it looks like, Funfetti! But their Brûléed Cornbread was AWESOME! Loved the crispy edges of the cornbread and the entirety of flavors. It wasn't until mid-meal that we really had a talk with our server about the amazingness of the food, the artfulness of it, as well as the attention to detail and creativity of the menu and that's when we learned that the chef here recently won an award for best chef in Connecticut! Well, now it's obvious - Why the parking lot was packed and why everything was so very good! Highly recommend stopping in - but make reservations!
