    Chicken and bacon flautas

Been coming with our friends and enjoy the food, service, and friendliness of the staff. Food is always consistent and good! I'm a creature of habit. I get the same thing every time. The chicken and bacon flautas. They're so yummy!

    Tres Lesches and puff tacos!

Well very disappointing! We went Sat to have what was amazing Mexican food n it was not good! So their's been a change! The food was not good n service was slow! It wasn't the waitress fault! But of course the place is nice n clean. I hope the new management will step up n realize the food needs to be the same or better! You can't find very many good Mexican restaurants in this area!! Unless you go to Northside of Fort Worth! Sad

My husband and I have been talking about eating here for a while, and today we finally did. The Casamia (White) Queso was amazing. I was almost disappointed that we got a small order, instead of the large, but I did want to be able to eat my meal. I had the Brisket Tacos. They were delicious. I also like that black beans are an option. My husband had Tamales. He was able to get one chicken and one pork, which was nice so we could try both. They were very good. They have a nice bar and a nice interior dining room. They also have a patio. I had the top shell margarita. It was pretty good. Prices are reasonable.

    Lunch enchiladas and chimichanga.

We wanted to try somewhere new and close to home so we gave this place a try. The atmosphere is nice and it's a quaint little place . The food is ok , nothing to write home about and nothing that that stands out. The service ,although friendly, was dismal. From the time we sat down and ordered , with the exception of bringing our order, until we got our bill, we were never checked on once! We were never offered a refill on our beer or the Diet Coke, never mind just asking how we are doing. Furthermore, when we ordered I asked for extra sauce and that was completely forgotten. There were only three tables occupied in the whole restaurant so it's not like she was swamped. Unacceptable. I'd have to say, with the plethora of Mexican restaurants in the area, I can't recommend this one .

Placed a pickup order online tonight and received a confirmation email at 6:47 pm. Around 7:42 we still hadn't received an email or text notifying us that it was ready, so we called. The person on the phone said that it had been ready for a long time and she didn't know why we didn't get an email. I went to pick it up. When I arrived the food was sitting out on a table. A friendly waitress gave it to me and it felt cold. I asked her if we were supposed to have received a confirmation that the food was ready, and she said she didn't know, she could ask her manager. The manager came out and I showed him the emails and texts with the times on them to show we hadn't received any confirmation... I told him the food might be cold. He asked me to show him the times again, then told me the food had only been ready for about 5 minutes. I don't usually write bad reviews about most bad food experiences, but I really didn't like that he lied to me. He clearly just didn't want to deal with me. The food was cold, and was not very good. I included a picture of one of the meals compared with how it was shown on the website.

Five stars for food and service. CasaMia is a small, non chain, local Mexican food restaurant with a good, welcoming atmosphere. We were instantly greeted and seated at 1:30 on a Sunday afternoon. It wasn't crowded which is nice because it's not a huge place. Frozen Margaritas are excellent on a hot summer day. Guacamole is fresh but needed a little salt. Salsa is good and fresh, a tad on the spicy side. The chips are good, fresh and crispy. Fajitas were excellent and tender! Beef enchiladas were good. Personally not a chipotle flavored fan so would get different sauce next time but overall good. The charro beans were tasty but a little on the spicy side for my wimpy self. Restaurant itself is nice. 100% will return and recommend if you like small, non chain, local Mexican restaurants.

    Steak street tacos

Service: Alma was our server and she was fantastic. Super friendly. Very attentive. Loved her energy. Food: delicious. Casamia queso for starters with white queso, ground beef. Onions and jalapeños. Yum Steak Street tacos. The meat was so tender and juicy. My friend had their steak burrito and said the same thing about the meat. Grilled shrimp tacos were wonderful as well. Loaded with shrimp and it was light. Another friend had chicken burrito and could not believe he finished the entire plate. I love that it wasn't another chain or super commercialized. Definitely had a small, mom and pop shop family business and authentic food. Definitely coming back.

This quaint spot has been standing for more than 140 years and now serves as a restaurant and live music venue on the weekends. We chose to sit in the bright front room with its abundance of windows and natural light. We started with the deviled eggs topped with bacon jam for an appetizer. Those we gobbled fast. I ordered the Wagyu House Burger with whipped jalapeño, goat cheese, and bacon jam served with tots. The burger is hardy cook cooked well and the goat cheese was a standout. My date had the chicken fried steak and after stealing a few bites I can confidently say that's what I'll be ordering next time. That was absolutely delicious. The service was attentive and friendly, making an already enjoyable meal even better. We left full happy and completely charmed by both the restaurant and the surrounding area.

Our waiter made at least four separate mistakes throughout the meal, but one was completely avoidable and had real consequences. We specifically asked him to have my young son's chicken and fries cooled before bringing them to the table because we didn't want him to burn his mouth. He acknowledged the request, but either forgot or ignored it. The food came out straight from the fryer, and within seconds my son burned his mouth exactly as we were trying to prevent. As a parent, that's incredibly frustrating. We communicated a simple safety request, and it wasn't taken seriously. That alone overshadowed the entire meal. For a restaurant that prides itself on providing a high-end dining experience, the level of service we received was far below expectations. Multiple mistakes throughout dinner, combined with a preventable incident involving a child, left us extremely disappointed. We came expecting great food and professional service. Instead, we left frustrated, disappointed, and questioning whether customer care is truly a priority here. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because no family should have this kind of experience over a simple request that should have been easy to get right.

On our recent visit, we ordered the cheese pizza and were surprised to learn that the cheese blend includes provolone. If not for the provolone, it would have been a home run. One area where I think there is room for improvement is pricing. While we understand that costs have gone up, some items felt a bit expensive. For example, I just cannot justify spending $17 on tiramisu. Overall, this is a charming neighborhood restaurant with good food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. The music selection and volume were equally well done, balanced in a way that felt welcoming to every generation. At one point, I almost felt like I had stepped into the bar scene from *The Shining*, not in a creepy sense, but in that nostalgic, timeless atmosphere kind of way. The Old Fashioned was prepared exactly right, especially with my request for lighter bitters since I do not enjoy it overly sweet. Many places miss that balance, but they nailed it here. The charcuterie board was easily one of the best I have had. The mozzarella and white cheddar were perfectly portioned, fresh, and rich. The green apple slices tasted incredibly fresh, like they had just been picked from the orchards of Apple Hill in California. The honeycomb was a first for me on a board and made the experience especially memorable. The artwork throughout the space also adds a unique character that I always appreciate in a restaurant. The prosciutto was a little tough but still had good flavor, while the Calabrese was spot on. Service was professional and attentive, with frequent check-ins throughout the evening. My only recommendation would be for servers to introduce themselves, as that small touch makes the experience feel more personal and welcoming rather than simply transactional.
