I understand why people love Casnova's Kitchen for breakfast. It sure doesn't look like much driving up, but once inside things start to come into focus. The dining room is a tight squeeze with only a handful of booths. But, if you go to the left and look around the back wall, you will find the infamous kitchen and a short luncheonette counter with a half dozen stools. If you enjoy watching the chef do his thing on the grill, and the entertaining talk between him, customers and his staff, then this is the joint for you. Grab a spinner, check out the large menu and go for something good. Anything with eggs and coffee is the right idea. I went with a sausage, egg and cheese on kaiser roll, but those omelets being prepared on the hot steel looked real appealing, too. All the while, the second gen Casanova (Tim?) exchanged information with me and had funny dialogues with the guys coming to this backroom man cave grill. They all knew each other well, and the comradery was patent. Even as a stranger I felt I was almost part of their clique. And, the sandwich was very good, too. Sausage logs (not links) a little crisp, with folded fried eggs and a couple slices of cheese, all on a superior fresh roll brought in from a bakery in Jersey. Java refills as needed. This was a three ring, holy roller circus. It didn't look like a winner, but much like the other special places around Bucks, the ones that are hardest to find or hidden in plain site, are usually the best. One of the best breakfasts of the year!

Jumbo Spinach Ravioli in Blush Sauce - tastes better than it looks!

Nice owners! This local gem has one of the largest menus around - ranging from breakfast offerings, sandwiches, burgers, and hoagies for lunch, and dinner entrees such as pasta. I've had a variety, but what I can remember best is the pizza and pasta! They offer large slices and tasty pasta portions. I recommend their jumbo spinach ravioli which comes in a tasty blush sauce. Also, their garlic knots are a MUST. They're homemade, so it comes separate from what's included with the pasta portions, but definitely worth it! I've only ever ordered through delivery, but would definitely try eating in once it's safer to go out to restaurants again! They're consistent, and quick delivery too. Thanks Casanova's!

We were in the neighborhood and decided to Yelp local pizza shops. We came upon Casanova's kitchen and noticed a picture of the fry pie. The staff were pretty nice and the price was reasonable. We took out, got it home and dug in. First impression was that the pizza was pretty doughy- and the dough was a bit bland. The cheese and fry combination was great though. It had other interesting things on the menu that I would be willing to try if in the neighborhood again.

This is the cheese steaks they sell . New meaning to were is the BEEF..

All of the issues were food related, not service. I ordered the chicken parmesan. My friends order the salmon and the seafood manicotti. My friend's salmon was perfect, the rest not so much. I could not cut the chicken parm with my knife, that is how tough it was. I demonstrated this to our server who offered a steak knife but I declined. The chicken was just as hard to chew as it was to cut. My friend's seafood manicotti was very fishy and clearly not fresh seafood. She ate half of hers and ended up just not finishing the rest. The server did offer to get us other options but we had a show at parx and didn't have time to wait for new entrees. I do think this location is beautiful. The garden room where we sat was lovely and the waterfall outside was a beautiful view. The prices were a little higher than most local Italian places. Between the higher prices and the food issues I described I probably will not return.

The menu is Italian, the alcohol situation BYOB. Service was nice. The gentleman taking care of us made several appreciated gestures such as helping me with my coat, giving us an ice bucket for the white wine and well timing each course that we enjoyed at a leisurely pace. I started with the soup of the day of lobster bisque. Smoothly and creamy. I enjoyed it. There was calamari for the table. We all agreed we'd had better. The chili sauce was nice and it was fried crispy enough but still chewy. Mains included a bland chicken parm served with penne. Nothing to see here. There was also a chicken saltimbocca that was okay. The chicken was tender in both dishes. I had the sacchetti with added shrimp. The sacchetti was filled with ricotta and served with a butter sage sauce. I would surely get this again. For desert we had the limoncello cake. Delicious! Overall, even with the cute setting the ambiance is a little stale. The crowd is heavy on the geriatric side. All that's missing is a little classical music in the background. If you're looking for a vibe uh no. A quiet place to take grandma, yes.

We shared a literally beautiful antipasto for an appetizer. It boasted fresh mozzarella balls, eggplant, artichokes, sweet red peppers, prosciutto, and olives. We had a good and soft loaf of bread with a yummy olive oil and balsamic dip too. Our meals were ALL tremendous! We had pasta dishes - gnocchi marsala and fettuccine with clams - EXCELLENT! I had plenty of sauce left to dip the soft bread into :) The other couple had octopus (appetizer) and seafood atop squid ink pappardelle pasta. They loved their dishes as well. Of course we didn't have room for dessert, but our chocolate wine and other wines were definitely sufficient. BYOB's are great and money saving. This place is a bit of a haul but I hope to get back in the future !

They serve a delicious homemade bread that's warm when it's brought the table. In addition, it's accompanied by a dish of olive oil, with balsamic vinegar and what I believed to be a spicy dusting of pepper. It was a little too spicy for me - however, I did like the addition of the balsamic as a change from just olive oil. I would skip the pepper though, unless you like spice. We ordered the Polpette as an appetizer; it's a 'tradition' of mine. If meatballs are on the menu, I will always order them. These lamb, veal and beef meatballs were very good, and the marinara sauce they came in was excellent! The sauce is actually a 'roasted pomodoro' gravy - which is an 'intensified' version of a classic Italian sauce. It's made by roasting the tomatoes at a very high heat and almost caramelizing them. A little feta was added to the sauce, which really highlighted those meatballs!! We split the order - as 5 meatballs is quite a large appetizer! We decided to share two entrees - the Beef Short Ribs and the Lobster Ravioli. I always ask if the short ribs are lean - our server responded they were very lean...and they were. Soft, tender and very flavorful large chunks of beef, with a deliciously rich gravy with mushrooms on a bed a creamy garlic mashed potatoes! It was a superb dish! The website said the Short Ribs were the restaurant's most popular meal. Next, the Lobster Ravioli. The dish was a very 'delicate' one, with a very subtle brandy cream sauce. It had chopped jumbo shrimp and peeled cherry tomatoes with the raviolis. While the sauce tasted fine, it needed 'something' - we added pepper which helped. The raviolis were good - we couldn't taste lobster in the cheese of the raviolis - we assumed it was there. The chopped shrimps though provided a nice additional seafood flavor. I like my raviolis tender - the kind that almost melt in your mouth. The pasta here was firmer - a little more 'al dente', but it was fine. We ended our meal with the Chocolate Mousse. Served in a martini glass, the mousse had a velvety texture with a deep dark chocolate flavor. It was very rich yet light and fluffy; a good choice for dessert!

The quality, flavor, freshness, and portion size were all outstanding. I believe this is a family-owned restaurant, and you can tell they take pride in what they do. The staff is always respectful, friendly, and professional. Even when they're busy, they do a great job getting orders out in a reasonable amount of time. My pickup order included mozzarella sticks, pasta, and two cheesesteaks, and it was ready in about 30 minutes, which I thought was completely appropriate for the size of the order. The restaurant itself is a cozy local spot that is very clean and well maintained. The prices are more than fair considering how fresh the food is, the quality of the ingredients, and the generous portions. I've also tried their pizza, and it's fantastic as well. Fresh, flavorful, and consistently good. The only minor downside is that the parking lot can be a little tight, but that's certainly not the restaurant's fault. I would come back here all the time, and I honestly don't know why more people in Bucks County aren't talking about this place. If you're looking for a great cheesesteak, pizza, or just quality food from people who care about what they serve, Mama Russo's is absolutely worth a visit.

I thought they were still closed for summer hours 2. There's this thing called "work" I have... I am most certain she has heard of this I didn't think much at first and thought she had misheard me. When I later clarified it is for tomorrow's, she still refused to take my order for ONE 1/2 tray of raviolis. She told me to call back at 8/9 pm because she's busy and has other orders. Then why did you pick up???? Why did you think I was calling???? I am confused. It took more time for her to talk **** than it would for to take the order. I tracked this call vs my next call to somewhere else. This would also be less than 24 hours and while they are about to close... which she will be thrilled about. If you're going to talk **** at least have it make sense, but regardless, this is by far one of the most unprofessional encounters I have had. We go frequently too, but true colors eventually get revealed. Thank you for your service. It was fun while it lasted.

Hype chasing works against places more often than not. That said I'd come here again. It's a pretty small place. Casual. Nothing too fancy. Tables are pretty close together. Our order started off with honey drizzled whipped ricotta on crostini. This was my favorite thing we had. I would order this every single time. Very tasty. Truffle fries were good, the right amount of truffle flavor. We split a chicken parm sandwich and a cheese steak. Both very good. Sauce on the parm has a sweet zing. The cheese steak was done in the modern style with the cooper sharp mixed in like a chopped cheese on a seeded roll. I find cheese steaks are either a 5 or a 7. Rarely do they stray outside the curve. This was most definitely on the 7 side. But the hype is a little over blown. What I wish we did was order a pizza. Every pie I saw looked fantastic.

It was superior to the parmigiana dinner platter, whose chicken was a bit dry due to being so thinly malleted and uncovered from lack of a fuller spoonful or two of red gravy. The Rigatoni was also in limited supply on the plate, but did hold the vodka blush well, which was pretty good. Service was exceptional, as our waitress engaged us warmly from welcome to final salutation. She was attentive and clearly took our satisfaction to heart. Five Star American Boi; Three Star Chicken Parm. No bread for the table. 3.5 Stars overall.

If it were just for friendliness, this place would have all five stars, but sadly I barely can…read morerate them the two I'm giving them. This place has me questioning, as if I hadn't already - the TikTok influencers, because this place really was not worthy of the praise TikTok has given it. We are headed over to Trevose on the advice of TikTok (hanging my head in shame) to grab a cheesesteak and a slice. The pizza is boasted to be baked on a stone. I'm not sure if that is what caused it to be what it was. It felt like it couldn't decide what it wanted to be.. too thin it to rise into that soft pillowy chew, yet not quite crisp enough to stand proudly on its own. It was the middle child of pizza doughs. Quiet, polite, and easy to over look. The sauce. It was sauce. Not quite to my palate. It was very sweet and reminiscent of Hunts canned sauce. Now the pepperoni, the pepperoni was on point the perfect crispy curly edges with just the right amount of grease puddled within. Onto the cheese steak. When you're talking about Philly steaks it really isn't hard to go wrong but sometimes you have to understand too much of a good thing - is too much of a good thing. There was way too much cheese to the ratio of meat, the meat was chopped way too much, and the gloppy mess was more than the roll could hold. As I'm writing this, I have a little bit of guilt because the guy behind the counter was a true gem super happy, proud and welcoming. If the food had half of his spirit of this guy, this could've easily been a 4 Star place. So next time you're scrolling the ol ticky-tocky. Try and think about why the influencers rave so high. Does it look staged and filmed? What do they have to gain by making that video? Would you really give a bad review to someone giving you a free lunch?
