    Mussels in Brodo

Sat outside with my dog on a Tuesday night for dinner. There are heaters outside so it was quite comfortable. Very dog friendly, and service was amazing. Our waiter was so attentive all night, recommended dishes and brought my dog water. I got two glasses of the groth Sauvignon blanc. It paired really nicely with the mussels and spaghetti chitarra. The spaghetti was al dente and the lobster was so delicious. My friend got the rigatoni alla vodka with shrimp. Super creamy and fresh shrimp. The mussels were pretty good as well, and I loved dipping the bread in the sauce. They also have a happy hour I want to checkout next time.

We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon to give this place a try. We ordered the Gnocchi Quattro Formaggi and the Burrata & Coppa pizza. The gnocchi was definitely the highlight. It was super creamy, rich, and full of flavor. The pizza wasn't really my favorite, though. It wasn't bad, but it just didn't stand out to me compared to the gnocchi.

Wow I'm giving my rare 5 star review! It was my first time and they didn't disappoint. We got the ziti with short rib and onions, pasta was perfectly cooked. The classic margarita pizza, the tomato sauce was well balanced and the crust was good! I dipped my crust in the olive oil balsamic that came with the free bread! Mmmm! I saw dishes coming out for others I wanted to try, like the ravioli and I think it was the Bigoli. I'll be back!

My best friend and I love grabbing food together in the city, and this outing led us to the marina for lunch! We chose Casaro Osteria for its proximity and our love of pasta. We arrived late in the afternoon on a Sunday. The restaurant wasn't busy, and we were seated in their back room. The restaurant is well-sized, colorful, and fun, with Italian-inspired decor sprawled throughout, and ample indoor and outdoor seating. Service by all staff was friendly and efficient. My best friend and I got the same thing, the Linguine alle Vongole. There were lots of clams, the pasta was well-cooked, and for the portion and price, it was good. Definitely a solid spot for pasta and other dishes! I wouldn't mind coming back if I'm in the area. Casaro Osteria is an Italian restaurant off Union Street. They're a neighborhood spot with good food and service. Parking is limited to the street, neighborhood, or nearby garages.

    Gnocchi Quattro Formaggi

Have been here twice recently and the first time was a five-star for sure -- the standout dish was the gnocchi, which was so delightfully crispy at the top, gooey and cheesy sauce underneath, and perfectly chewy gnocchi. The tagliatelle bolonese was also good. The second time I got the gnocchi again and it wasn't really crispy on the top so not as yummy (though still good). The ambiance inside is cute like many of the Italian spots in the Marina, and there's a few outdoor seats too.

Such nice staff working here. They also had a great playlist playing! I loved the vibe here! Very beautiful space! They have lots of seating for large groups! Their complimentary bread with oil and vinaigrette was very good! The calzone was gigantic!!! So beautiful! The seafood risotto was amazing!!! Such a good find while walking down the street!

Happy hour here is fairly priced & very yummy. The arancini are some of the best that I've had and the cocktails are also nice & strong. Would definitely come back for a lunch date with friends

Really solid Italian spot!! I ordered the sea bass because I've been on a Whole Foods diet, it was incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection. My family said the pastas were super fresh and tasted like they were made with love. My mom was especially fan of the pesto, so definitely recommend that one. The service was really good but the food did take a bit long. I appreciated the heated patio area in the front and overall had a great experience.

    Caesar salad with chicken

First time here on a Friday night as my son had been here previously for a function. Known for their pizzas and tiramisu, I actually opted to a chicken Caesar salad and my son ordered the Tagliatelle Bolognese which we both thought was underwhelming in terms of taste. My Caesar which was my main entree was very good and was surprised that they had slices of hard boiled egg as part of the salad. Meatball appetizer was okay and ordered that with my wine that I had ordered. Would definitely come back but would try one of their pizzas a or a different pasta dish, another Caesar salad and most definitely the tiramisu!

Love this place. The dishware is very elegant and beautiful and the pasta is amazing. My favorite is the lobster ravioli! I'm not a fan of red sauce pasta but this place has changed my mind. I go to this place often whenever I am craving pasta. The mocktails are yummy and the appetizers are too!

I expected the food to be a bit better here. I was excited to try the fusilli pesto but the pasta didn't taste right. The bread was also too hard to chew. The vegetable soup had almost no flavor and didn't look appetizing either. The drink I got was nice and service was good. Ambiance is nice and cozy inside.

I've been wanting to try this spot for so long ever since the gorgeous plates caught my eye. The dishes were even more beautiful in person. Overall the food was pretty good but not the best Italian i've had in the city, but service was outstanding! We wanted to get a bottle of wine to share for the table and they let us try multiple options before deciding on one. We came as a big group and they accommodated us easily. I tried the four cheese gnocchi, the ziti, and the diavola pizza. The ziti was a bit under seasoned but I liked the tender meat and al dente pasta. The diavola crust was great but a little too salty for me. The gnocchi had good texture but it's quite heavy so definitely a dish to share! Inside vibes are very cute and I appreciated the free bread as well.

Casaro Osteria is one of my favorite spots for girls nights and date nights. The drinks are so fun and beautifully crafted, and the service is always wonderful. I especially love coming when it's a little less crowded so you can really enjoy the atmosphere. I still can't get over their seasonal melon prosciutto dish, so good. Also a great spot for gluten free options.

We've been on a Friday around 5pm on another day, it wasn't as busy, so definitely a great place to start and maybe end the night. In a time where craft cocktails have gotten really expensive, Bar Darling offers craft cocktails (their signature cocktails) all for $14 each. Drinks had almost a "watered down" flavor to them, not sure if the bartender was just having an off night or if they got too busy to maintain standards or what happened, but it wasn't a good beverage and certainly not worth the price. Even at 7pm it was packed and could definitely tell people had been there for awhile as there were multiple 20 something year old guys and gals stumbling around, so I guess they found the drinks to their liking (or more likely had so many they really couldn't ascertain the difference). Better drinks and better crowd control and Darling will be just fine. But as I mentioned, they were already packed stem to stern at 7pm so my guess is they're doing just fine already.

If you're looking for a place that feels clean and healthy without sacrificing taste, this is one of my favorites. I find myself craving it, especially for dinner. One thing that can be a little confusing is the hours. They often leave the door open, and because there's so much foot traffic, it's hard to tell whether they're actually open. I've definitely been the person peeking in to ask. They serve lunch on certain days, but they seem to be primarily a dinner spot. The biggest downside is the service. Unfortunately, it's been consistently underwhelming across all three visits, even with different servers. I've found the staff to be pretty dismissive, which makes me think it's more of the standard experience than just a one off. Because of that, I don't really dine in anymore. The menu changes regularly, which keeps every visit exciting, and if you have the chance to chat with Chef Pujan, you quickly realize how passionate he is about his craft. He genuinely loves creating memorable dining experiences, and that passion comes through in every plate. Tiya is definitely more of a special occasion restaurant than an everyday neighborhood spot. It sits on the finer dining side of the Marina, where you'll naturally find yourself dressing up a bit more than you would for a casual dinner nearby. It is on the expensive side, but for me, it's absolutely worth it. The quality of the ingredients, the creativity of the menu, and the overall experience make it feel like money well spent. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with an elegant interior that complements the food perfectly. The service has always been outstanding.
