This place normally fills up all tables inside & outside very quickly but we stopped by a Sunday late afternoon/early evening on the way home & they had lots of availability but Frankie was gone for the day. I had the Electric Rain cocktail which is a pretty big glass & my friend had the Tableside Caesar martini which is accompanied with a little stuffed endive leaf. They have a martini menu & Negroni menu so if that's your thing, you should check them out. We shared a few oysters (we tried the Pisco Sour topping which was pretty good) & we had all of the skewers (Hen of the Woods, Squid & Scallion, Citrus Cured Hamachi Aguachile & Sirloin + Guanciale). All of the skewers were very good but I think that the mushrooms and the sirloin steak skewers were my favorites. We inquired about French fries since my friend had them there once but it's not a menu item yet. They were super nice & brought a metal cup with freshly fried fries to our table. The fries definitely hit the spot. We were too full to try more food but I want to try the lobster roll & the grilled cheese sandwich in the future so I'll be back. Did we mostly come to Frankie's to meet Frankie? Yes. Did we stay for Frankie? Yes, but also the amazing food and drinks! The bar itself was so cute, with a good mix of both indoor and outdoor space. If you're looking for a fun, dog friendly spot to grab a light bite and a few drinks, Frankie's is the perfect place! We started off with the martinis, that came on this cute tray with a sidecar and was absolutely delicious. We ended with a couple of glasses of the Pinot Noir that was recommended to us by our waitress and we couldn't get enough! For food, thejr menu is pretty limited, but we ordered the focaccia, flat bread, hamachi skewer and steak skewer, then we saw the grilled cheese that the table next to us ordered and we HAD to get that. He is a calm and cool golden Labrador that wanders around greeting guests. Frankie is just one of the friendly attentive staff. The many martinis come with a side car on ice and choice of garnishes. The cocktails are fresh fusions that you can accompany with delicious baked oysters or flat bread and more. The oysters shooters are an extra bonus. New addition to the marina !!! Overall loved the vibe. Went second weekend so I think they are sorting out links. There was one server for the whole inside and she was clearly tired you could tell. I never leave reviews, but this place was the exception. I wish there was an option for 0 stars. After seeing articles about this place online, I was very excited to give it a try. I finally gave it a try and I have never been more disappointed by a $20 cocktail in my entire life. The drinks claim to be "inspired by a trip to Italy" that the management took. However, my martini was an absolute joke, it tasted like it took about 4 second to make with absolutely nothing special or "upscale" about it. So I thought, maybe I ordered wrong, but after ordering a $30 Negroni next, I realized that every single drink was incredibly mediocre for the price. So I thought, maybe the food would be good. Another disappointment. Considering they don't even have a kitchen, everything tasted like it was defrosted from the freezer and put it on a plate. The only thing worse than the food and drinks was the aura of the restaurant. The manager Angelo was incredibly unfriendly and the staff acts like you're lucky to get a table (even though there's no wait?). They sat us directly in front of someone's apartment, people were in and out the whole, very odd location for a table when you're charging $30 for a drink. This is a skip. I had a better drink at Monaghans for a quarter of the price where the management was friendly and appreciative of our business. Just because Frankie's has a cute dog, doesn't mean they can charge $20 for medoicre drinks and food covered in dog hair. read more

Was excited to try but was very disappointed. Ordered the charcuterie board and it came with burnt pita bread, sliced ham and what they called Brie cheese that was smashed on the plate. Looks like they just mashed the cheese. The "Brie" was actually bleu cheese when we specifically asked not to have. Then the martini with "goat cheese" olives were actually bleu cheese olives and we sent all back. And they gave it back to us with new bleu cheese. Will not return.
