There was difficulty scheduling the appointment since I had to drive 1 hour and 40 minutes from Newport to their locations in Keizer or Beaverton. This team was phenomenal and sent one of their technicians to Newport. I recommend Cascade for people on the coast. called to have a windshield replaced as they advertise in camera recalibration. The tech (matt) called beforehand and replaced it in about an hour. When he was done he said we wont be charging you because there is a defect in the glass. I would have never seen the defect to be honest. He came out the next week ( because of my schedule )and replaced it. VERY friendly and personable young man. He did a excellent job. Being a car guy, I could not tell he had done anything except the new glass. Whatever you are paying Matt it is not enough. It turned out what I thought was a chip was actually sap stuck to the windshield. He was very gracious and cleaned off the windshield and told me to have a great day. No charge for the trip. Not a very well-ran business in my humble opinion. Made my appointment a week in advance to have my windshield replaced. When I showed up at the shop in Beaverton the two gentlemen there acted very surprised and put out by my very presence. They had no idea that I had an appointment scheduled that morning. Long story short: a part to complete the windshield replacement hadn't been delivered and I was supposed to have received a call informing me of the delay prior to the morning of the appointment. I never received any call and took off time from work to make it to this apppointment. Very disappointed and will be taking my business elsewhere. I was extremely disappointed in the quality of work and professionalism by this company. I went in to get my windshield replaced and when I returned my car was a disaster, I had my paint fully corrected and detailed, along with a full interior detail the week before and washed/ waxed the night before taking it in in the morning. When I arrived the car had finger prints on dust and dirt all over the roof and they had apparently dragged their fingers on it creating scratches and swirls in the paint. Along with that my carpeting was covered in mud. (I'll add a picture of my untouched passenger seat for reference on the condition it was given to them in.) read more

They scheduled an appt. 4 days out and the day before they called me to say they didn't have the glass and it would be another 5 days out. I'd like to start out my review by apologizing to the technician for having to deal with the mess that was my previous windshield on the hottest day of the year so far. I didn't catch his name, but if the PO number gets him some recognition, it's 3143254. I had scheduled an appointment to have my windshield replaced on Friday of last week. I got a phone call from Cascade Auto Glass that morning saying that my new windshield came in, but it had a significant scratch, so they wanted to order a new one and reschedule the install for today. While some people might get a little frustrated about this, I was actually happy about it, as there are too many companies that would have just installed it and hoped that I didn't notice. Whoever had installed the windshield that the technician was replacing had done a terrible job, turning what could have been a 30-minute replacement into an hour-and-a-half. It was 100+ degrees outside, and I wasn't about to make him sit out there while I chilled in my air conditioned apartment, so I stuck around and suffered with him while he did his thing. The technician was friendly and professional, and did a great job replacing the windshield. He even cleaned up the scratches and mess left by the last replacement. I don't normally leave reviews, but I was seriously impressed with Cascade Auto Glass all the way from my initial phone call to them, to the installation of the new windshield. Keep it up, guys! My husband SUV Crossover had a big crack on his windsheild. Saw their advertisement on craigslist and thought we would give them a try. They are professional and amazing. We decided to do my windsheild that was cracked all around like a picture frame. Once we scheduled my mother-in-law because really sick and we had to reschedule about three times. Two days before they came out we lost my her. I had to reschedule once again and have them come to Independence Oregon. To my surprise Kellie was super nice and worked with us. The. I was home sick and gave them 72 hours to see if we could move the appointment up and of course they did. I am so happy with their professional service and friendly customer service. 4 Stars on the customer service! I have not had the actual installation completed yet however they are going to go to where my car is parked at to do the work there. I just leave my car unlocked so the windshield technician can remove and replace the windshield. My Beaverton cust serv rep LUCY was rally nice and helpful. I did purchase the living social for the $100 off and the total cost is $195.13! Lucy called my insurance carrier to make sure they would not cover the cracked windshield. They took payment over the phone and it was a very easy process. I think the pricing is reasonable! I will repost if necessary w/ the end results of the windshield. read more

These folks will lie, cheat, steal - whatever it takes to get your money! They recently offered a discount through Groupon. Before taking the offer, we called them to be sure that they could do the job we needed, and get a quote. We discussed the details of the job. They told us the full price, and gave us a quote of what the cost would be with the Groupon. Great. We bought the Groupon, and called back a couple days later to make our appointment. Once we had the Groupon was in hand, it was a different story. They flatly refused to honor the Groupon. They claimed it didn't apply to the services we wanted, even though the Groupon clearly stated it applied to what we needed. Then they started to pressure us to make an appointment to have the work done at full price. We misunderstood and thought they were offering to honor the Groupon, and confirmed the specifics from our initial quote. At that time, they explained that they didn't work with the kind of glass in our car - and would have to use a lower quality than the factory standard. Then, they gave us a huge attitude that we weren't willing to pay their heightened prices for lower quality, and that we were somehow out of line for having bought a Groupon in the first place. Groupon will refund our money, but Cascade is a despicable company that should be avoided like the plague! read more

I really liked the dealings I had with this place. They were very informative, honest, communicative and hard working. They gave me the best deal I could find, and helped me out with my deductible too! They even filed the comprehensive glass claim themselves, and all I had to do was talk to my insurance agent for one minute to give him authorization. They guys are really great, quick, and nice. Service man knew what he was doing, and they give you a Lifetime Warranty on your glass, against leaks, bad installation, mold, etc. A+! read more

Picture a scenario where the execs at Cascade Auto Glass actually read the previous reviews here and elsewhere and made changes or fired some management in the past few months. Because I, too, bought a Groupon to get my windshield replaced and I seem to have dealt with a completely different company. Although I was driving around with a big crack across the bottom of my field of vision, I procrastinated until the week before the Groupon would expire before finally getting on the ball and scheduling an appointment. Not only were they great on the phone, they patched me through to the claims folks at my insurance company and seamlessly picked up all the details on that end. They were flexible in dealing with my changing requirements (not sure where I would be with my car and where I'd have a space they could work on it). I did end up having to wait for the technician to show up, but I accept that's partly because I changed my location the day before. The guy did call twice to let me know where he was and update his ETA. They had the right windshield for my car, the tech was great, he got the job done quickly and gave me advice about getting the wiring back in place for my hands-free phone. All in all, I had a totally professional experience with Cascade and I'd like to think it's all because of the positive power of negative Yelps! read more

I bought a Groupon for my brother as a gift over a year ago to fix his cracked windshield, but he ended up buying a new car so the voucher went unused. 2 weeks ago my windshield was hit by a rock on the freeway and cracked about 12 inches within 4 hours! I called Cascade to make an appointment and mentioned that I had a Groupon and that I knew I could only use the amount I paid for it (since the promotional amount expired) but Cascade honored the full voucher! They were so friendly in helping me find technicians in different cities around Los Angeles (searched near my home and work) and I was able to get an appointment for a few days after my phone call. My tech, Rene, was very quick, very friendly, and very knowledgeable. He replaced my entire windshield within 40 minutes! He also gave me some advice on how to make the glass really set in. This is my second time I used Cascade Auto Glass to replace a windshield. Last time was my Chevy Trailblazer back in 2009; this time it was my Honda Civic. And once again, they exceed my expectations. I did some research and my Civic needed a windshield replaced due to a large crack for roughly a year or so now. I didn't have a windshield replacement coverage on my insurance. Winter was coming and I know I needed to do it before it comes to a point of no return (shattered glass in your face? no thanks). Luckily enough I got on board just in time with a Portland Perks for $100 off a windshield glass replacement, plus a $25 restaurant gift certificate as a bonus. I have been shopping around and the average quote I found was around $300. Cascade Auto Glass ended up costing me around $176 total (including the price I paid for the Portland Perks voucher). The process was painless as you can imagine it to be. I called and scheduled an appointment for a few days out. They arrived within the designated timeframe (at my workplace; I didn't have to drive my vehicle anywhere specific, they came to me!). They procedure took approximately 45 minutes and voila - brand new windshield! Cliff, the glass technician, was friendly and very professional. This is a review that is a pleasure to write. From my initial call to the finish of the service, Cascade was unbelievably prompt, professional and friendly. When I called to place the service, they said they had a mobile service. That was great: I did not have to go anywhere! They fixed the windshield while I was out of town. The phone rep let me know of an Amazon deal in my area. All of a sudden, my $100 deductible was only going to cost me $19. I appreciated the tip!!! Had a mud/rod clump fly off a semi on the freeway and hit my windshield, leaving multiple chips in it, and my insurance company said that I'd have to have it replaced. Due to another unfortunate incident on the same trip (someone clammed their car door into mine leaving a serious dent), my vehicle was going to be in the shop for a couple weeks. Cascade Auto Glass was very accommodating in working with the body shop to get my windshield replaced while it was there. On top of that, after I had the appointment scheduled, I received a phone call from them letting me know that they had a groupon deal for $29 that would cover my entire deductible (which I was previously told would be $65), and that I could get it to cover my whole deductible. Dropped my care off at the body shop, and when I picked it up, my windshield had been replaced. I've since put about 2,000 miles on the vehicle driving throughout Oregon and Washington, and have not had any issues...I just can see out the windshield better! read more

Went to them to fix a large crack in our windshield. They set up an appointment very quickly and even offered a service to basically "House call" fixing the broken windshield. I looked on a map and saw that they were right next to a nature trail and a couple other points of interest nearby, so I opted to go to them. It took them about an hour and a half to replace the window, the staff were very courteous, and I enjoyed my nature walk while waiting for the work to be done. It expired in a week, so figured I better use it and fix my windshield before I head to Seattle this weekend. Well, I don't understand any of these good reviews this has been a horrible experience for me. I've never used them before and thought I would try them. Called and it took over a week to just get them out. No real big deal they said it would be done before the Friday I needed my truck. The window was not safe to put family in for a vacation trip. They scheduled me for a morning appointment. So I made arrangements for someone to be at home for them to do the repairs. At 8:30am of the appointment day they call and say they can't make it until the afternoon between 1-5. I figured out a way to make this work and would have someone again rearrange their schedule to be there if they can get there by 3. They call repair guy he says ok. I have ppl rearrange schedules again. And once again no one shows. Tech calls me at 5:58pm says he can't make it his hand hurts and can't do it by himself. I immediately call and leave a message with the company asking for an immediate resolution because I need this done by Friday and it's now Tuesday night. 9am Wednesday no one has called. I call and talk with someone get thrown in VM. They finally call back at 12:30pm saying tech can't make it and he is taking rest of the week off and can't service me mobile. But I can drive my vehicle into one of the locations. I called another glass company and guess what they immediately accommodated me and will have the new window in next morning by 10am. This was horrible. I really don't think anyone really cares truly about service. Could not believe they would honestly ask me to bring it in like it was no big deal and they were doing me a favor by putting me in time slots in their window locations and not following through with the commitment to take care of it at my house especially since I'm traveling all week. read more

I have been putting off replacing my Mini Cooper windshield for almost 2 years now for fear that as soon as I replaced it, it'd get chipped again. I had called Cascade Auto Glass prior to purchasing the voucher and the final cost of an OEM windshield from them was ended up being the same price as a generic windshield from everyone else with the voucher. So I bought it. They were quick to schedule an appointment. The lady on the phone was extremely nice and helpful. The technician was prompt and professional. He even took his little dog with him to work in the truck. She was so cute! I loved the convenience of having my windshield replaced while I worked and ready to go when I got off. I was told about Cascade Auto Glass from my insurance company and have already thanked them for doing so. I had a back window replaced after I threw a 2*4 through it. I was able to make a service time for the next day and the installer that came was extremely nice. Unfortunately I wasn't specific enough about the window type and I had to wait another day but it was definitely worth it. I had them come to my home replace my windshield in Vancouver. (Not sure if this one was actually the one who did the service). The tech was fantastic. My windshield is great (only day 2). No gaps or even fingerprints and my gps tracker and rear view mirror are all attached well! I think the techs name was John. He even put my oil change sticker back on. The service took about an hour. Cascade was the cheapest quote I could find and also had a Groupon for $19 that gave $100 off. Pretty good! My total came to $217 (after $24 tax--dang Vancouver--also call or email for a quote for your vehicle. Mine was a '06 Honda). Like I said it was the cheapest I found especially with the Groupon. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 was that they said they would come between 8am and 3pm. They never called until they showed up. It just made it a little hard because you can't really leave until they get there. "John" showed up at 12:53. It would be nice if maybe the day before when they know what services they have if they could call and narrow the window down just a little. I highly recommend!
