After having Safelite fail to order the correct parts to replace my rear passenger window over two seperate appointments within one week, we made the call to go to Collision Auto Glass in Tualatin. It was the absolute best decision and I wish we'd called them first. They not only got us in quickly but they also had the correct parts in stock to replace our window! Their customer service was stellar and I was greeted with a smile and the best hospitality. I was able to get in and out hassle free and drove away with a new window and a vacuumed car like it had never happened! If I had called them first, I would have had my window replaced days ago without having to miss work and saved money because they are a better value than Safelite too! They're willing to work around your schedule, and explain the process to you in detail. Both times they were able to get me in next day. They're also extremely well priced. The manager of this place is the worst person in the business. They had no idea how to fix the windshield. In fact, they installed the wrong part number. They didn't even know how to look up the correct part number?! Very shocking. Lucky for me there's a national windshield company just down the road in Tualatin. That shop had the remove the wrong one that Collision installed then install the correct windshield. I'm so happy the other shop noticed the wrong windshield was installed. The other shop said if I was in an accident I could have been killed. WOW! Not a windshield shop that I can recommend - I would give this place negative stars if possible. Stay away. read more

On my way back from the sunstone mines in SE Oregon, a rock hit my windshield due to chip sealing on Highway 20. Annoyed but not surprised, I stopped by a shop in Bend and he said, "Yeah, that can't be fixed... here's the name and number of a guy in Portland." So I called and it rang and rang and rang; not even an option to leave a voicemail. Desperate and short on time because I knew a crack was in my future, I chose the first place on Yelp with good reviews. I'm so glad I did! Mike came to my home from the Tualatin location and replaced my windshield while I worked and at a very reasonable price. He even managed to scrape the baked-on parking permit my draconian HOA requires (which I'm still debating based on principle) off the old windshield and put it on the new one. To top it all off, he even saved my expired Sno-park permit and the oil change decal. :) I am definitely calling these guys again when (not if, but when) I get my next rock chip and/or windshield. This was such an easy process where you take a situation that can be frustrating, but Sally and her team gave me such a great turnaround. They were able to find my window for me and give me the best pricing compared to a lot of other bigger window replacement companies. The staff was super accommodating got me in and out within about 90 minutes of my appointment. I didn't have to miss work because I could use their Wi-Fi while I waited. My new window looks crystal clear and clean. I would definitely come here again hopefully not soon though. Whereas the competition (SafeLite) wouldn't schedule a mobile repair and were impossible to reach by phone, Scott at Collision answered right away and fit me in for a mobile appointment the next morning, even though I'm probably a little outside of their normal territory, I think. My husband and I went to this business due to having to chips on our windshield. Upon entering the building, i immediately felt as though I was intruding on her conversation with someone. She asked what I needed and I told her about the chips. She curtly said she'd come out and looked. She looked at one and said, " you need a new windshield." My husband said, really? I'd gotten my windshield replaced here back in 2017 and overall that was a great experience. They even went out of their way to repair a small rust spot around the edge of the windshield! The gentleman that I'd delt with there was very kind and I made a mental note back then to always come back for any glass repairs. However, the seal around the windshield had developed a small leak that became apparent during the last hail/ice storm we had. It was obvious where the leak was coming from, as you could see where it began to form against the roof and glass. I went in expecting the same type of amazing service recently, but was greeted by a rude and condescending elderly woman at the front desk. While politely trying to explain the situation to her, she cut me off and said "You got your windshield replaced here a few years ago? Windshields don't just develop leaks all of a sudden." Her rudeness caught me off guard and I told her I wasn't blaming them, but that I'd just like them to check it out. Needless to say, she called me an hour later and told me to come pick up my car and that there was no leak. I knew there was a leak there, as it couldn't have been coming from anywhere else- so I tried calling her back to tell her that I wanted them to reseal the window and that I would just pay for it (that's how sure I was of it) but I'd called the corporate office in Washington instead by mistake. This is the reason I'll continue to always use Collison Auto Glass- a gentleman picked up and was very curious about my situation. He listened to what I had to say, understood my situation and went out of his way to help me out. He'd go on to say he was going to call the shop and get things sorted out for me. About an hour later, the Collison Auto Glass in the Portland (science parkway) area told me to come by and they'd take a look at it. I went to drop the car off and I honestly figured they'd tell me they couldn't find it just to save them the hassle of dealing with it- but I'd gotten a call back saying the the hole was found, repaired and that the car was ready for pick up! I enjoyed dealing with the Portland site much better than this one. I'd personally recommend going here instead of the Tualatin branch in order to avoid that lady. read more

The windshield in Subaru sustained a large crack which needed to be repaired. Because it has back up cameras, the new windshield also needed to be calibrated. The people at Collision Auto Glass were amazing. They picked up my car the next morning and delivered it back to my house that evening. I'm a car enthusiast who loves his 25 year old GM wagon! I was nervous when I saw a rust bubbles begin to deveolop under the windshield trim causing an interior leak, as I know that can be a very costly repair. I didnt know who to call. A body shop- can they remove the windshield themselves? A glass repair shop since the leak would have to be repaired anyway? I tried a bodyshop at first, but they refused to do rust repair (in a state like Oregon?). I was shocked when they told me this. I slowly asked them, "you guys are a body shop, are you not? " They said "yes, but we don't do rust." I guess they'd rather my car be made of plastic. So, frustratingly I left and kept on looking. Finally I decided to call a windshield repair shop to see if they had some experience in rust being around the window trim. I called Collision Auto because of their amazing rating and customer reviews and described my situation to them. My car was vandalized last week and they broke out the back window of my car and stole a book bag from my backseat. I was devastated, as was my daughter, who was with me at the time. It took a few days of driving around with plastic taped on my window; but I found Collision Auto Glass (in Tualatin) and was advised I could have my car fixed the very next day.
