A follow up on MS Glass they had replaced the HUD windshield on Vette did a great job a couple days later noticed a scratch in glass took it back to them , after they reviewed it they determined it was a defect in glass and ordered another windshield right away , a note here it is a challenge to find these windshields for this year Vette but they did it within a couple of weeks and replaced it one more time , it is now perfect ! I had a what I thought was a leaking windshield in a 7 year old truck, so I took it into MS Glass. They had somebody meet me at the truck to look at the symptoms of the leak, which was water accumulation and drips from my headliner beneath the corners of the window. They agreed that the windshield would need replacing, and so the did the work for about $370. After it was completed I asked them what the condition of the seal or gasket that had been under to windshield was to confirm this was the cause of my issue. They determined that they couldn't tell me, then asked if my truck had a sunroof, to which I replied yes. They said if the windshield repair didn't address the leak, then I should have somebody (maybe even them) look at the sun-roof drains for clogging. At which point I should have and failed to ask -'why didn't you do that BEFORE replacing my windshield?' Naturally the leak continued in abundance, as it was a rainy day, so I online sleuthed how to find and clear the drains from the sun roof, which was an easy thing to do on my own for free, and now I don't have any leak into my headliner. So I paid $370 for a windshield that I did not need and a suggestion that sunroof drains are a common culprit. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I feel in a customer oriented business, the customer should be able to rely on the professional to diagnose and address the situation before performing costly and unnecessary work.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This is an unethical way to run a business, and I will refuse to use MS Glass in the future for any reason. read more

Zero integrity. So I've been here a few times for various auto glass needs and until now they've always been great and done good work. So if you're looking for decent work at a decent price it's not a bad deal. However the last time I went in they managed to scratch and lightly dent my car and absolutely refuse to take responsibility for it. So that's the trade off. I've read some of the reviews for MS Glass and anyone who had reported a scratch or damage not directly relating to the glass tends to get gaslit or told the thing was already there. There is zero professionalism or accountability from these people. I called and was told to come in, and then was promptly argued with and told they have no idea how a scratch on the back end could possibly have happened during a windshield replacement. He then proceeded to walk around my car, which is in otherwise good shape and nitpick any scuff, minor scratch or fleck of dirt as an existing flaw and that these things happen to "old cars." This is not an old car. I do acknowledge the paint isn't perfect anymore but its nice and I didn't complain about existing issues, I complained about a scratch and 2 dents that happened in the timeframe the car was in their shop. They definitely drove it around their cramped parking lot littered with pieces of glass, wood, pallets, metal, carports and poles in order to do the work. It looks like it was scraped against something like this while being moved. He tried to persuade me it might've happened while I was driving home. As though myself and someone else would have been totally clueless about a collision like that. Whenever I made a counter point he changed his argument. They work on hundreds of cars, I'm sure this is going to happen occasionally and some professional accountability and behavior would be nice. It probly wouldn't have been too expensive to fix, but alienating people is more important here. read more

Gave three stars because they were very responsive when I called last December to replace my windshield and was able to get me in the next day. However, I wouldn't recommend going if you have a newer car with windshield sensors. My car has automatic wipers and I had to come in again because the sensors weren't working so they took a look at it, and it worked when I left the lot but then few hours later it stopped. I had to come in once again, and they finally fixed it by putting some tape but now I'm left with a "ding" noise every time I use my wiper. When I brought this issue up the third time I went, they just told me it's because it was a new windshield but a year later I'm told by others they bent the wiper arm. read more

Efficient: Quick and Good Price Location: Central to lots of restaurants, coffee, shopping within walking distance - knock out other errands while you wait! Somebody broke a side window on my car a few weeks back. At the time, I called several shops who either wanted to know my insurance deductible PRIOR to giving me an estimate (shady!), or I was told this window was unavailable in Oregon and Washington - if it were available, I was likely looking at $500-1000. So, I patched the window with plastic and drove with it for a while. Yesterday I decided to try again, and MS Glass was the first call - not only did they have the glass in stock, it was the most affordable quote I'd heard - far better than the aforementioned quote range. They got me in same day, and I was out in less than an hour and a half! Although they mentioned that they thought the motor no longer worked, I have been able to roll the window down and up still! My Ford Escape is vintage 2006 and starting to show its age. It still runs like a champ and has relatively low miles on it. I carefully maintain the moving parts at Everett Street Autoworks. On one of the rare days that I wanted to drive, I came outside to find my rearview mirror was dangling by a chord. I called Everett Street Autoworks first and they recommended a glass shop. I checked Yelp of course and found MS Glass. I had the day off and I called for an appointment. The were able to get me in right away. The girl on the phone told me it would take about an hour. I went inside and called an Uber to take me to Washington Square. As I'm sitting there about 10 minutes later waiting for my Uber, a man comes out to tell me that my vehicle is ready. It cost $45.00 and worth it as it saved me money on two Uber rides. I only regret that I didn't have them replace my worn out wiper blades. This was my first interaction with MS Glass and it was mediocre. They gave me an appointment window of 8-12 on Wednesday. Thirty minutes later they called and said the appointment might be later in the day but someone would call Wednesday morning with an update. Since they didn't call, I phoned them Wednesday afternoon and got passed around to three different people and was told that they would get a message to the installers to give me a call. They did not call Wednesday. On Thursday we got a call saying the installers would arrive in 20 minutes. About an hour later they arrived. They seemed to do a good job and I'll find out in a week or two when I run it through the car wash. read more

Had a very bad experience with the salesman, Sam. He quoted a price that was 50% higher than his competitors, but then he bought the last piece of glass without my approval. Afterwards he called multiple times to haggle over his "mistake" but would not match the pricing of his competitors. After finally agreeing to cancel the ordered glass on Saturday, he called back on Monday morning and said that he wasn't going to cancel and offered a higher price than he did on Saturday. I've never dealt with a less professional salesman. I'm assuming he is commission based and trying to keep his numbers up, but this is a terrible way to do business. read more

Who knew?! MS Glass does residential glass replacement! I had no idea... I am selling my house soon and had a couple windows that were broken/needed to be replaced. Several calls to various window companies and the soonest I could get them replaced was 2-3 months! I did NOT want to wait that long! My realtor recommended MS Glass to replace just the glass... But they are an Auto glass company right? Guess what... they replace residential glass too!
