Ask the Community - Cascade Campers

As a taller person, is the driver seat able to go all the way back or does it hit the couch/bed frame?

There is room for it to go back, you may have to slide it forward a bit to give your bed more room. I'm 6'3'' and it's all good. Love it!

In the van is there enough room for a small porta potty...something like a bucket type potty?

I use a Reliance fold and go portable toilet. It stores behind the fridge and I can use it when in the van! These are amazing campers!

Went to Brian at SIC(K) HIDs because he posted that he has been doing this work for many years…read more Didn't find negative discussions/reviews, and now that I have Delt with him I searched harder and found a lot of issues with his sales and marketing. Like others it took Brian 6 Months to upgrade my Victory Vision Headlight. Yes we had a few back and forth discussions partly as I'm older and do not speak younger generation speak nor am I technical, it was difficult to get him to explain things in simple format. After the Six month time I literally was harassing Brian to get me the Headlight. He shipped it, I received it and had my shop install it per the instructions that Brian has sent.. As Brian stated I needed to leave the headlight OFF for at least two weeks to allow the headlight to get adjusted to my environment,, I left it off for about 2 months! To my Surprise there was a hole in the blacked out Bezel. I emailed and called Brian and like So many others have been Ghosted! Since I do not Live in Grass Valley California, going to him is not a real option. HERE is the real Kicker - Brian refuses to accept Credit card,, only Zelle or other similar "cash" type transactions (maybe a little trick but it goes to his wife(?) Tara),, so the $1,219.00 is gone. Might look into Federal help but the trouble might no be worth it.

Zero stars if possible! Brain sold me a pair of headlights and charged me a total of $1094. It…read moretook him 3 months to ship. I recieved the headlights and they were smaller than the stock headlights in my vehicle approx. 2 inches. I contacted him and he was very defensive about it, blaming my bumper. If there were any issues with the bumper the stock headlights would not fit properly but they fit just fine. After pressuring him he agreed to " reform" the lenses. After a month I contacted him,and he ghosted me. He decided to keep the headlights and the money I sent him. 5 months later, and I am currently disputing this issue with my credit card company. He has been lying to them and it seems he has probably done this to others. No Yelp reviews before but if you google Sick Hid's reviews you will see plenty of poor souls that he has taken advantage of. I should have done my homework. Please learn from my experience. My advise for anyone considering doing bussiness with Brian is to avoid him and save yourself your money and the headache of dealing with this person. I will take him to court if needed. STAY AWAY if you value your money!!!

Original Wheels & Accessories in Rocklin is hands down the best customer service I've ever…read moreexperienced at a tire shop or auto mechanic shop--no contest. From the moment you walk in, the team is friendly, knowledgeable, and just easy to work with. You can tell they actually know their stuff and take pride in what they do. Pricing on wheels and tires was very reasonable, and everything was explained clearly--what was wrong, what needed to be done, and what could wait. No pressure, no surprises. I think the head suspension tech/owner (Jim) might be the Michael Jordan of tire, wheel, and suspension installation. When I had an issue with something in my suspension, he showed me the part and explained why it needs to be addressed. I know a little bit about cars but Jim would explain an issue in a digestible way that someone with no car knowledge or mechanical aptitude could understand. That's a rare gift in the automotive repair industry. What really stood out to me is they don't move forward with any additional work unless you give the green light. That level of transparency and respect is rare. Also--random but worth mentioning--they have the cleanest restroom I've ever seen in any mechanic or retail shop. That alone says a lot about how they run their business. I'll be honest, I spent a bit more than I expected on both visits--but I left feeling 100% confident my vehicles were safe and the work was done right. That peace of mind is worth it. I trust the guys there, I trust their work, and I'll absolutely keep going back for wheels and tires. Already recommending them to friends and family. 6 out of 5 stars

I came in the following week and spoke with him in person. Jim was transparent, honest and had a lot of knowledge to offer. When I didn't understand something, he showed me actual parts to help me visualize and understand (clamshell bushing). After going over options, I opted for Bilstein 6112s (3 inches)/5100s (1.5 inches) + rear springs, SPC UCAs, clamshell bushing and CV replacement. Labor cost and prices for lift kit/parts were are very fair here. Original Wheels also had everything I needed in stock for same day service so it was very accommodating. My 4Runner is a little beefier now and I just love the stance. Ride quality is very smooth with the 6112s considering I drive about 40 miles daily for work. I'll definitely be back in the near future for some 33's or 35's. Come check them out for wheels and tires as well, they have a huge selection, definitely something for everyone. I previously purchased Method wheels and Falken Wildpeaks AT4Ws from these guys a year ago as well. Absolutely my new go-to shop and would definitely recommend them to others!
