A good time is alway had here whenever we stop by. Labor Day weekend and we wanted a nightcap after dinner. Did pop into another place but there was no life inside. Of course this place never disappoints. I didn't know that they had a drag show Sunday night. Drag brunch on the weekend they have. We would usually go to the one Friday night. Unless it's for the long weekend or we just didn't know. Anyways it was amazing. It was crowded but not overly packed which was great for getting a seat. I've been where it was standing room only. Still fun but better to have a seat while the show is going on. Vanity Halston, and her dolls are the best. I haven't been to much drag show in the desert but let me say, it's AMAZING here. Friday night is alway a good time and now Sunday, it was a night of fun and fabulousnesses. The dolls were outstanding with their looks and music choices. They all can get the crowd going. Make sure to have the bills ready for the ladies. Also drinks are alway great here. Depending on the night, drinks specials are offered. Plus their happy hour is fantastic as it goes on for a couple hours versus two or three at other places. They do have different events for the week but Friday is normally when we stop by for drinks and a show. Also Monday is great as it's martini Monday. If your here for the show, reservations is recommended if you wanted a table or hi top seating. It does get pretty crowded so open seating is very limited at the bar counter. It's always a fun time had here. Vanity is amazing and the dolls, it just a fun night out. I need to check out drag brunch with them soon. The best in Cathedral City. read more

What an experience to kick back and have some fun! What made it a wonderful experience was the great attentive staff, the kind patrons and the great performers. Plus the drinks were solid and not crazy expensive like LA prices! We joined this venue for my birthday- My friend made reservation to secure us a seat. We received seats at a bar like seating environment, but there were also tables for larger parties. For those who do not have reservation, if space is available you can curl up to the official bar. Customers seem to pour in about 15 minutes before performances. Mostly parties and/or groups of individuals. The performers were very lively and enjoyable. Especially the MC! From experiencing other places, what I like to see is more performances on stage before they circle the room and take money. The performance from the dance teacher in San Diego was amazing- very artistic. Was happy to see three performances from her! If coming, prepared to have fun and bring some money to show your appreciation for the talented performers. Having a pocket full of dollar bills will get you far! read more

One Eleven Bar is in Cathedral City, which is really nice for Cat City people to enjoy a local bar vs going downtown to Arenas. The bar is spotless, as are the restrooms and offers a variety of everything from Drag Bingo, Drag Shows and Karaoke. The bartenders are a really nice group of guys and very attentive. We have gone here on many, many occasions and each and every time it has been really nice. So if you are in Cat City, drop in, drink specials are 2:00 to 7:00 daily and the drinks are always made properly. read more

My friend and I were spending the weekend in Palm Springs for an event and I wanted to check out a drag show, as I have seen amazing drag shows in Palm Springs in the past. I found One Eleven Bar on Yelp with some fantastic reviews. I reserved two seats for Vanity's Dollhouse, one of the many drag productions featured at the bar, on a Friday night. We took a rideshare from downtown Palm Springs, and found it odd when we were taken to a random strip mall in what appeared to be suburbia. When we walked into One Eleven Bar, it was a bit odd as they were between shows/events and the bar was pretty quiet. We noticed a sign with my name that reserved our seats. We were a bit early for the show, so we decided to take a seat at the bar and order drinks. My friend pointed out that people were staring at us. We looked around to realize that we were two of four women in the bar. It was then quite apparent that we had walked into a men's bar. We were surprised, as any drag show we had been to had a more balanced audience, but we figured that we would enjoy the show regardless. The bartender welcomed us and gave us a drink menu. I saw that they had a pumpkin bourbon smash, which is a perfect drink for me. We both ordered it, and really enjoyed it, as it was tasty, had pumpkin spice flavor, but wasn't too sweet. We then moved to our seats. We felt welcomed, as we sat next to a husband of one of the drag queens. He told us how the bar is open 363 days per year, and how they have several different shows each day. I enjoyed the fact that they showed fun music videos leading up to the show. The MC was hilarious. The drag queens were great. I will say that some did more of a performance on stage than others. Some sang rather than lip sync'd, and one was an excellent dancer. I did wish that they performed a bit more on the stage, rather than heading directly out to the audience, as they were a lot easier to watch on the stage, That said, it was a long show and a really fun night. Everyone was really nice to us. Service was excellent and the server brought me pumpkin bourbon smashes throughout the evening. Drink prices were really reasonable. The show, itself, was free, but we paid around $25 per person for reserved seating. They had a men's restroom, and an all gender restroom. The all gender restroom was pretty clean until the end of the evening.... and there was almost never a wait. All in all, we had a great night. I would recommend One Eleven Bar for drinks, service, and entertainment without hesitation. read more

We came here on a Monday night for trivia night. The trivia questions were by randomly themed like for example : "Missing ingredient " and "I've seen that movie". The host was really funny. We had a good time with him. It was a busy night with at least 14 teams/people playing. We signed onto a website and were able to play. Server was nice. She checked in on us every once in a while. We were there during happy hour so got $5 for domestic beers, and $7.50 for a margarita. They charge 3% for credit cards. I saw that they had charged my credit card another time but was removed and got my money back. This gay bar had so many rainbow decorations, which we liked. There were two gender neutral restrooms. Happy that this bar was in a large lot with a lot of parking: same plaza as goodwill. read more

I like this place. As a resident of Palm Springs, it is essential to have a regular place to go and enjoy a nice cocktail and perhaps entertainment or a a drag event. This place lacks consistency. Whether it's service or the drinks- there is big inconsistency. Sometimes, I will have an amazing Bloody Mary with all the accoutrements, other times, bland with little effort. Sometimes we get offered cute pretzels, other times none when other patrons have them. Improvement needed. read more

We're lovers of show tunes and had been searching for a truly fun piano bar. Ron did not disappoint. A true key-whisperer, every note he played had us grinning ear to ear. He didn't just play songs--he told stories, created moments, and somehow made the entire room feel like one big musical family. The vibe was so fun and easy going. You couldn't help but make new friends--it was that kind of night. At one point, an attractive couple sat next to my husband and me... with the cutest little puppy I've ever seen. I was instantly smitten. Naturally, I had to order the pup a "Puppaccino." (Zero regrets.) The drinks were amazing - Flawless. We kept the Mai Tais flowing and agreed they were hands-down the best we've ever had. I asked about the bartender and was told his name is Terry. If he's there every Wednesday, then so are we. And then there's Rick. Imagine if Clark Kent decided to moonlight as a server--that's Rick. His energy was magnetic, and it was clear he was having just as much fun as the guests. I was genuinely thrilled to see him again on our second visit. That's when I realized: Rick was the only server working the whole room--and absolutely crushing it. Talk about talent, grace under pressure, and serious passion for what he does. If heaven has a lobby, it definitely looks and sounds like this piano bar. Go. Bask. Order the Mai Tai. Tip generously. We often go to Vanity's Dollhaus on Friday nights, but when we saw she was having a Saturday night 'Powerhaus' this past Saturday - we quickly reserved our table - If you can't get a table, just go anyway and sit at the bar or any seats that may be vacant. It's free admission - but please tip the girls, and the servers too! I'm a drag groupie - so when we saw the lineup of Billy Lamour, Jasmine Masters, Mariah Carey Carrie, we had to be there. Celebrating my birthday here was a blast. One of the performers, ENVI is a personal friend, this was the first time we've seen her at this venue. She was fabulous as always. Or waiter Daddy Danny I believe he called hi.self, he was so much fun, made our visit the best. He made sure our glasses were full, and always had us laughing. No food at this venue so nothing to review there. But the drinks were great. I'd love to.know what the shot was that i had during the birthday stage recognition, it was quite tasty. Vanity Halston is one of my wife's absolute faves, so she was excited to know she was hosting. The place was packed by showtime. We were at the front, off to the left. We were able to see with no problem. Being a gay bar we definitely felt welçomed. It was a loud and proud ambiance, no question about that, all the patrons were friendly as well. Respectfully, this is literally the only place to see good drag in the entire valley. It's not catering to the tourists or the bachelorettes (though is incredibly welcoming to all) so it's a much more authentic experience. We had a hard time finding a bar that was playing RuPaul's Drag Race (RPDR) while the season was airing, but this was the only place closer to Downtown Palm Springs. While we watched the show, there was RPDR trivia with some fun prizes. The first round of questions won some free shots. They had several televisions around the bar with a good sound system that played the episode. There was a large crowd, and the general atmosphere was great. The drag queen that hosted was funny and great. The bartenders were nice and fast. I was only drinking soda and he recommended that I upgrade to a soda tab where I was able to order multiple sodas for a flat price. I recommend coming here if you're looking for a place to watch Drag Race. I will be back for sure! read more

Although I only got to this establishment about an hour before it closed, I had a delightful time while I was there. I came in and the drag show was in full swing. A very famous drag queen named Raven was one of the special guests and all of the queens offered up hilarious and fun holiday material. I love the set up of the room and the drinks were fantastic. I didn't do the experience long enough for my taste but I will be back. In the meantime, if a show bar is your thing then you should go check it out for yourself. We pre-paid for the show with brunch and a mimosa. ($44.50 ea) Summary: Disgusting food (room temp, food poisoning) Strong uninspired drink (think Elks club) or Flat mimosa Pretty Queens There were 4 items on the "brunch" menu. All were something you would expect on a second rate Mexican fast food drive through menu. We ordered one of each and all four were room temperature and gross! I had the nachos which included chips with refried beans, guacamole "carna asada" which was somewhere between ground and chipped beef with gas station canned cheese soaking the chips into soggy submission. In spite of having bacon and sausage, the breakfast burrito was rendered tasteless by the potato filler, which was actually French fries, without the salt and deep frying that makes them delicious. As an extra bonus, this dish came with food poisoning. The other 2 dishes were tacos and a tostada. The hostess was entertaining, and the show was two hours, but there was about an hour of bs filler. Videos, long introductions, music playing in anticipation of a performer and a segment of getting people on stage and wishing them a happy whatever. Only one act bothered to lip sync in any convincing manner, and one act was on stage long enough to show off some good dance moves. 80% of the performances were just drag queens twirling around grabbing money out of hands, so the "show" was limited to the brief moments when she walked over to your table with an outstretched hand.
