Not a great experience. I was a customer from 12/15 - 8/16 and the service declined over that period. Outages were frequent enough to warrant an apology from the founder in July. Customer service was the lone bright spot, but even that took a turn for the worst after I cancelled. I gave notice and canceled days into a new billing period, but they will not provide a refund once an invoice is issued. Even Comcast gives a refund for service not provided after cancellation. read more

Switched from Comcast and am now paying $59.99 a month. Cannot stream a movie without it stopping to buffer multiple times. Cascade Link suggested I move my router to another outlet in my apt despite my router being housed in the junction box where the connection comes in. I moved the router...it made no difference. If you have the ability to go with Comcast they offer a way better service for less money. I will be switching back to Comcast. read more

Cascadelink not only has great Internet service backed by responsive customer service it was hands down one of the best customer experiences I have ever had with a business. I used their service from 2012 through 2015 when we lived in Seattle. Signing up was a breeze. Service was fast. Never had an outage. And it felt like a good value. Having been a Comcast customer since the 1990's I thought I had died and gone to heaven.... and now that I am back to Comcast I miss Cascadelink! read more

Super easy set up, super easy cancellation and they refunded my money unexpectedly - I moved and let them know the same day my credit card was charged and their website says they need at least 2 weeks notice to cancel or prorate your last bill. Not only is their internet reliable, but their support team is extremely helpful and courteous. Have been a Cascadelink customer for the better part of a year now. Service was great until about three months ago; since then, it has been spotty at best and non-existent at worst. In fact, I have no internet service at the moment and after 17 minutes on hold, someone finally came to the phone to tell me that Cascadelink is aware of the outage - and that's it. I couldn't even get an informal ETA as to when the issue would be resolved. I work from home and Cascadelink is jeopardizing my livelihood. As they say, fool me once, shame on you; fool me every damn week - well, I guess I'm to blame for naively thinking Cascadelink can offer the service for which I have already paid them. OTOH... I'm online and writing this because Comcast Xfinity offers a free one-hour trial twice a month. They have hotspots throughout Seattle so their customers (of which I will soon be one) need only log on. And... the speed is noticeably better! Please - do yourself a favor - and steer clear of Cascadelink. In my book, selling a service before your technology is mature enough to actually provide it is no less criminal than mugging me on the street - it's simply more disingenuous. read more

I have to admit, I didn't have very high expectations for an Internet provider. I've lived all over the U.S., moving every ~4 years for medical training, and every Internet provider I've ever had to deal with has been an experience in abysmal unpleasantness... until Cascadelink. I moved into a Casacdelink building, the Brix, and a neighbor told me to give it a try. 3 years later, as I am forced to terminate my service in preparation for a move back to the East Coast, I'm noticing something strange... I've never had to think about my internet connection in 3 years! This is as it should be with a reliable, functioning Internet provider. Internet should just work: no drama, no frustration, no inexplicable increases in billing. My monthly charges have been the same for years, automatically charged to my credit card. My Internet has never stopped working, and as a physician taking hospital call at home and needing frequent immediate access to electronic medical records/scans from home, this is critical. And customer service with Cascadelink, which I've had to interact with twice (to start service, and to terminate service) has been helpful, professional, and responsive. I can't ask for any more... except to plead that Cascadelink consider expanding to Maryland, as I am dreading a return to Comcast. read more

I love Cascadelink!! I've had terrible experiences with so many other ISPs causing me unnecessary stress and anger, but Cascadelink is in a league all on its own. I found them on Yelp and noticed they're amazing reviews, so I submitted a request on their website to service my building. They replied immediately to say they were looking into it and then told me the next week that they would start preparing to service my building and gave me an estimated launch date. When they launched, they emailed me to let me know. I never had a problem with service or billing. They didn't drastically raise their rates at any point in time, nor did they ever lock me into a contract. Their customer service team is phenomenally friendly and helpful. I have to move and am so pained to have to leave Cascadelink. In the future, I'll only move to buildings that Cascaselink services. They're my dream come true!! read more

I've moved to Seattle from Canada in February. After four agonizing months of being with Comcast, I switched to Cascadelink. The main problem with Comcast was the slow speed, variable connectivity combined with high price. I was paying over $80/month to get their 100Mbps internet. As it turned out, using wi-fi with my brand new laptop, the speed ranged between 5 - 23Mbps in less than 550 sq ft. apartment, with maximum of 40Mbps on few occasions sitting right next to the router. The explanation I was given when I contacted the Comcast Customer service; the advertised speed is obtainable only when connected with a cable. I switched to the Cascadelink, 100Mbps ($60/mo.), and was able to get 89-98 Mbps for download/upload anywhere in my apartment at any given time (via wi-fi, with the sample laptop). I was so happy that I downgraded the plan to 30Mbps ($40/mo.) to save money, and have not had any problem talking to friends on Skype anywhere in the apartment or streaming movies. Cascadelink is a refreshing example of a local business equipped with competence and excellent customer service. I would recommend Cascadelink over Comcast to anyone who wants high-speed, reliable internet at an inexpensive rate. read more
