We had the time of our lives on the party bus christened "Sasquatch" for our joint bachelor/bachelorette party. Jean is so diligent that she checked out the property's driveway ahead of time on Google Maps, then literally drove out there ahead of time to make sure that she could come up with an alternative plan if the driveway was too narrow. She scheduled us with an amazing driver and ride-along assistant who made our night smooth and worry-free despite multiple changes to the original schedule. Our experience booking Sasquatch had been so great that the week of the wedding, when we decided last minute to book transportation to the wedding and photo locations for ourselves and our wedding party instead of driving separately, we decided to use Cascadia Cruiser again! This time we were on the smaller bus, but once again our (same!) driver was courteous, kind, easy-going, and professional. And both experiences were very reasonable rates in fun and quirky vehicles. Where to begin... well the buses themselves are freaking AWESOME! Rented both for our whole wedding and every single guest said that these were the coolest buses! Way more fun and unique then the normal limo style bus. Jean (1 of the owners) was an absolute pleasure to work with and made sure our needs were met the whole time we were scheduling and during our ride. They were on time picking us up, and took us to all of our locations: Picked up in downtown, ceremony at Cathedral Park, beer pit-stop at Wayfinder, and then dropped us off at the reception at Plaza del Toro. Cascadia Cruiser is the BEST! This review took me ENTIRELY too long to write, but my experience from start to finish with these guys was AWESOME. For my sister's bachelorette party, I wanted to get a bus to take all the bridesmaids and friends around on an "Amazing Race" adventure. I lived in Kentucky at the time, so was doing the search all online and by phone. After several calls and convos, I stumbled upon these guys -- a happy and lucky find! Cascadia was not only one of the less expensive buses, but the guys seemed super cool, relaxed, and excited to help us out! Planning a bachelorette party from afar, in a place you have never lived, is challenging enough. Add to it, that I actually had no idea how many people would eventually land on the bus OR where we would be going. No problem! Ben was amazing and didn't even require any sort of down payment, even though I requested the bus several months in advance. When I finally got to Portland for the big event, I was BLOWN AWAY by how awesome it was. If you are looking for the traditional, glam-puke-fest limo bus, this may not be for you. However, I knew we wanted something a little different. The bus is super colorful on the outside with wood benches, painted outdoor scenes, smoke machines, music, lights, the works! They offered to decorate the bus for us or allow us to put up pretty much anything we wanted. At the end of the night, they even got us into an additional bar for FREE! You can pack the coolers inside the bus with drinks, bring on snacks, etc.... they really are there to help make your night great! EVERYBODY who took our contracted party bus CASCADIA CRUISER from hotel to Horing Hideout venue raved about how great this was !! The venue is a rustic out of town down a sometimes steep and always narrow, gravel road with no lighting. We were very worried about wedding guests celebrating then driving those roads. We rented the Cascadia Cruiser's Sasquatch bus for a big 40th birthday party blow out........ and a BLOW OUT it was!!!! We decided we wanted to do a whole day of partying while making various stops at photographic locations. We also wanted all of our friends to be together and for no one to be stuck being "designated drivers" for the day! And boy, did Ben and his staff deliver in a big way! The bus looked great, the sound system and lights were pumping, we had all the food, drinks, and costume changes we could hope for! I worked with these guys to book a corporate party for over 70 people, and I could not be happier with the service provided. The party bus atmosphere was just what we needed after a hard week of work. Ben, our driver was very accommodating while creating a safe a fun atmosphere for us to unwind and have an amazing party. I have had 2 AMAZING experiences with this company. Sasquatch is ridiculous fun for a huge group, which we used to go safely to and from a show back in November. For a more intimate group, use Pegasus, the newest of the growing fleet- it's perfect. We rented Pegasus for my bachelorette party last week, and everything was a surprise to me. All I have to say is EPIC!! Ben, our reliable, sweet, chill driver was very flexible and tolerant of the 12 cackling, dancing, singing, crazed out ladies behind him. Thank goodness for his superb driving skills and uncanny ability to not be distracted (by some miracle)! We snacked, jammed music (loudly), there's a TV, a few poles, lots of fun lights, a space for a cooler, recycling, garbage, whatever you need...and if it's not there, you can get it. We rented Sasquatch for our wedding party and heard SO many positive comments from our guests and our photographer throughout the day. Our ceremony was at a campground near Mt. Hood and the bus gave our guests a place to go to warm up and get out of the drizzly weather that we had that day. Jean was so easy to work with in the months leading up to our wedding day and our wedding coordinator raved about her as well. The bus itself is absolutely gorgeous, comfortable, and has a huge cooler for drinks and ice. The bus came by and I got on.....at a bar in NoPo on Halloween for a haunted corn maize/dance party. So much fun and such a great atmosphere. Rather than just being a bus that happens to take you to places while you enjoy refreshing beverages, it is a destination unto itself. While at the Maize waiting for a few people to get back on board we became the star attraction (sorry corn maize) and what more could you ask for in a party bus. If you want to take another party bus in town you are cheating yourself. I would rent the bus just to drive around town and dance with AMAZING people. I've taken the Cascadia Cruiser twice now. Once to Hood River for a really fun show and also on new years. Both times I had a BLAST!! I met a ton of great people and both times we had beverages on the bus and dance partied it up the entire time. I plan on making Ben take a crew of us to wine country in the near future and pssibly some shows in Seattle. If your'e gonna rent out a bus, it doesn't get better than this. He will make every effort to ensure that your vision becomes your once in a lifetime event - whatever it may be. For the 50th birthday I attended, expectations were set high and Cascadia Cruiser met them all. The interior of the Sasquatch is set up perfectly - custom elements provide lots of opportunity to mingle and make it your own. There is no such thing as a wimpy display of drinks, and we were able to set up a table of appetizers so no one got hangry. Forget that boring elementary school bus ride because this is something truly special. We were laughing, singing, dancing and having the time of our lives, and by the time we blinked we had reached our 1st party destination. To be honest, I think we could have all stayed in the bus all night and had an amazing time. Every time we left one of our bar hop spots, the entire crowd came alive inside the bus with Ben's custom sound system and pretty on-point dj-ing skills. His driver was friendly, safe, and super tolerant ;) I've seen pegasus too, the smaller option in his fleet, and i'd book it for my next ladies night event in a heartbeat. My only complaint is that there isn't a Cascadia Cruiser fleet where I live, but rest assured i'll be making my way back to Portland and partaking in another cruise as soon as I have the chance.
