We did the WildWood Trail to the Witches Castle! It's a nice hike. Wear appropriate shoes and clothes! 2.3-5 miles round trip. It's a big enough path for multiple people but some areas narrow. The climb down is good but man back up lol you will feel the burn. They have restrooms onsite indoor and then they have a bathroom in the mansion basement. Toilets flush loud don't be alarmed. At the bottom of the trail when you cross the street, there was a porta potty. Map as well. Parking is expensive: weekend Saturday it was roughly $24 for all day! There are benches and picnic tables towards the view! Staff are very nice! Gift shop as well with snacks, plants, jewelry, postcards, and all sorts of items.

We had the most informative and fun tour that we have ever been on. Peter was amazing! From the phone call confirming our reservation up until the time we were dropped off, he was on-it. No hard liquor but they have beer, wine, hard ciders and a wine made to taste like tequila for their version of a margarita. We got the watermelon ones. Mmm... Yes, you can bring your own food n board. Our birthday girl brought a stack of pizzas, chips, dips and a birthday cake. Yes, they get you as up close to the falls as legally allowed. Yes, there are plenty of tables and comfy sofa style benches to relax on while you take in the sunset. Yes, they have bluetooth speakers so you can all jam to your favorite tunes. Yes, they provide a karaoke machine so your party can garble the 2 whole hours if they want. I really can't think of a downside except that the birthday girl kept saying that she wished the night wouldn't end. They have a policy that if the customer cancels within 24 hours, then the customer would not receive any refund; but if they decide to cancel the tour - any time, even after the tour start time - then they simply refund the money paid - no extra punishment. Probably because our guide, Christopher, was AMAZING! I cannot rave about him enough! He took us around Portland and showed us the different areas. His energy and personality was so great, he really made the tour as much fun as possible. He even let us have a pit stop to Blue Star Donuts, which was a nice little break! The Segways were super easy to use and Christopher was a great teacher and made sure everyone felt comfortable at all times. I was very nervous at first but after a couple of turns I felt like a pro! (Kind of, I may have let out mini screams coming off of the sidewalks lol). We had a fairly small group, there was about 7 of us. I was nervous for the first 5 minutes of waiting for my riders lesson, but was comfortable the second I stepped onto my "Mall Cop" mobile. 13 mph seems slow, until you're whipping around on city streets at that pace. Once you get going though, you get a total feel of Badassness. If there is such a thing...on a Segway. I would recommend the Portland Segway tour to anyone - in the summertime - with a Bucket List.
