The seasoning of the pasta and vegetables cut with the tart of the lemon has me salivating just thinking about this dish. The restaurant ambiance was also very fun with a Sasquatch/forest theme! It was cozy (yes, even with Sasquatch watching), the service was wonderful, and the food came out just in time. I was in town from California visiting my parents and wanted to take them out for dinner. This place popped up when searching for restaurants around the Olympia area. It was a busy Thursday night and thankfully we didn't have to wait much as were seated within 10 minutes. Everything we ordered from the appetizer to our main dishes was exceptionally good. Our server was wonderful, she was funny and attentive and made sure our waters and drinks were always full. The ambiance was great, live music was happening during our dinner. The spinach & artichoke dip was great, garlic steak was full of flavor, the rack of ribs were tasty. The portions were generous that to-go boxes were required! We walked in, got greeted, and seated within seconds. Everyone working there said hi and was super friendly when interacting with customers. They have a pretty extensive regular menu and a separate vegan menu. The poutine was pretty good and flavorful with smokey pieces of bacon. This place is a gem. I love how welcoming and inclusive it is. They have a vegan vegetarian menu and lots of gluten free options (a separate frier) which I really appreciate.They also have all gender bathrooms. The restaurant is decorated nicely for Christmas and they are playing Christmas music...very festive. I ordered the cajun tofu sandwich with fries. The tofu sandwich was excellent. I didn't like the fries or vegan ranch dressing. The ranch dressing tasted bland and had a weird flavor. My husband loved the vegan Viet-Thai baguette. We made an unexpected stop on our way from Vancouver to Kent and found this wonderful gluten free option. The food was amazing with so many gluten free and vegan options we will be coming back. The service was lovely, it was quite busy so it wasn't a quick spot, but it was well worth the wait. This combo was excellent, half Brat and half Italian sausage, both patty style. Bell peppers and cheese with mustard on top. We both enjoyed it! We timed Sunday lunch well; had a choice of seating and quick, friendly service up front. The menu is meat heavy (makes sense for a grill) and meat heavy--a half pound or more per consumer appears to be the target. Three of us each took half our meal home, but what's excessive for us might be just the ticket for someone else. Quality/taste got "good" comments, not enthusiastic remarks. And our wait for food was dismaying--a good half hour (enough for others to be seated, served, and out the door before our first bite). While exploring the downtown area of Olympia, and a mid morning adventure in the Nisqually wetlands, my appetite was definitely needing attended to, Cascadia grill caught my attention with the displays outside and in, who could resist a cute goofy beaver getting your interest? While looking over their extensive menus, David was quick to go over the day's specials, which sounded delicious! And was quick to bring water and beer ordered while deciding what to eat. The crispy shrimp with sriracha slaw sounded really good for an appetizer, and it definitely was! Flavorful crunchy shrimp and a bed of sriracha slaw, the cabbage was extra fresh and added to the crunch and flavor of the shrimp, along with the sweet heat of the sriracha sauce, it disappeared in minutes! Which was timing perfect for the main dish ordered, Garcia takes a dip ( cute name) which was a take on the French dip.. tender slow roasted Mexican style pork ( carnitas like) with cilantro, jalapeños, and melted pepper jack cheese and a mild spicy pork au jus, perfect for dipping in, so good! And on a big roll, plenty for a meal and a half. I opted for a side salad with the house creamy Russian dressing, a tasty late lunch feast Lots of variety to choose from their menu along with some delicious daily specials. A good find, this place is. As the production manager of a band, most times its up to me to find good food in areas we travel. Cascadia Grill's service, food and ambience were a top notch choice. The 6 of us that stopped in for dinner last Friday night loved it all! The only complaint I have is that the full rack of ribs I ordered could have been a bit hotter. Upon entry there was an odd smell- it's a little cramped but we were greeted appropriately. Our waitress was nice and gave us the specials. It's located next to Juju's Iced Cream & Frozen Custard on 4th Ave W in downtown Olympia. There's only street parking around the area which can be difficult to find around busy hours. I got the Indochine Baguette which was a fusion of Vietnamese and Thailand. I thought the sandwich was kind of just okay. Nothing really stuck out. The meat was tender from time to time but a bit on the tougher side. There was also a ton of cilantro which I felt was kind of overwhelming. The fries were really good! I liked how crispy they were with a hint of burntness to it . Definitely different from the fast food fries. My friends for the Cascadia Burger and Flex Them Mussels and Clams pasta. I got to try the mussel and clam pasta and omg. That was sooooo good. It was a soupy based kind of pasta with all the flavor seeping out of the mussels and clams into the soup. The addition of butter gave a nice kick to the entire dish. There was plenty of shellfish too! I wish I got this dish dang LOL. This place is a wonderful restaurant. The decorations on all the walls of all different kinds of history and famous people is super cute. The service is kind caring and fast. Wait staff make sure you're taken care of without being overbearing. The food was phenomenal. The combination of yakisoba and salad with cilantro complimented the Ahi perfectly. The corned beef was tender and well spiced and flavorful. The potatoes were just the right texture with a homey taste and everything was delicious. 10/10 would recommend. Outstanding lunch. Came to meet niece and her friend that flew in from out of town. Staff there are extremely friendly and helpful. We did not have to wait for a table, so great start. I think my wife had best meal at the table, blackened chicken with tortellini. Boom.. tons of flavor in this dish. Can't wait to eat her leftovers later. I had the cheese steak sandwich and was not disappointed. Roll was perfect and the beef was tasty. Was not crazy about the fries, they were just ok. Absolutely loved this place! It had a quirky vibe but loved all the random photos. I got one of the pastas and it was enough for 3 people. It had a kick but good flavor. Bread wasn't my favorite but the dish was so good that it didn't matter. The dessert was unlike anything I've ever had. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon, we live about 1.5 hours north and make the trip to Portland often and came in on a whim, they have a regular menu and a full vegan/vegetarian menu. The trout and chicken meals we had were better than expected, a lot of restaurants are raising prices and giving smaller portions and we just don't eat out often anymore. Five stars for service. The staff here were so incredibly kind to my friends and I. We were seated right away even on a crowded Saturday evening. I picked this spot because of the vegetarian menu- I am no longer vegetarian but two of my friends I was with are and they were so excited to have such a large menu to choose from. I got the signature steak which was really tasty and made to my specs exactly. The rosemary potatoes were way too much rosemary and other wise flavorless so I may have stolen some of my husband's fries instead (the serving was massive). Overall there are a ton of options and I had a really tough time picking- will definitely be back to try others. Prices were reasonable for the serving sizes. read more

Service is great and the vibes are my favorite but the food is so inconsistent we unfortunately won't be back. The owners are great at the guy is there to greet us every time. But 2x now in the last 6 months I have had meals that are bad and I was comped for one because the chef came out and told me he couldn't believe I had eaten it because it was so gross. But this time when I had clearly only had about five bites, I was still charged $25 for my tofu vegan salad.
