Cute thematic interior and fast friendly service. Portions were generous and the food was tasty. Burgers seemed expensive compared to the Midwest and both of our burger buns did not hold together after the first bite- my bun seemed dry - definitely not fresh and not what you should expect at this price point. Many vegetarian options and even their own menu

Hanging with my friends. Little Bear really likes crab! I was too stingy to share the great steak.

There's a Cajun creole on the vegan menu that's to die for, nice and just the right amount of spicy. But as a non-vegan i just had to un-vegan it by having them add some chopped up bratwurst. EXECELLENTAMUNDO! Great food, great wine choices and really great service.

In a random search for some lunch I ended up coming across Cascadia Grill and I'm so glad. I'm sure I've drove past several times but never really noticed it. Coming in it's giving a West coast Cracker Barrel vibe with assorted photos, pine trees, mountains and of course big foot. Cascadia had a great variety of food, small shareable plates and great portions for the price. The service was great drinks came out fairly quick, was offered water and to look at the menu right after the waitress greeted and sat me down. I was surprised at this small but great place and can't wait to go again.

We stopped by Cascadia Grill on our way back to Seattle from Portland. We were just looking for a place to eat and were expecting typical diner food... and so we were pleasantly surprised when the food came out and the plating was nice and the food was delicious. We got the following for sharing and enjoyed them all: Crispy Trout Salad, The One and Only Garlic Steak, and Southern Fried Pork Chops The interiors have so much character, check out their restrooms! The service was good too.

The staff was great, very attentive and helpful, but unfortunately the food was not. Everything tasted very bland, to the point where it felt like there wasn't even salt in the food. The fries were clumped together, and the ribs only had sauce on the ends. To be honest, we stopped eating, paid for our meal, and went somewhere else to find food. We really wanted to like it, but it ended up feeling like a waste.

The food is delicious and generously portioned. Service is prompt, and drinks are strong. The ambiance is decent, though I find the tables a bit too close together, especially with the bright lighting. This place is better suited for family gatherings

Fun place, friendly staff and server. We were sat in a corner, our table was pretty wobbly but we enjoyed looking at all the decor. The menu had some nice options, I got the one and only garlic steak and my daughter got the blackened chicken tortellini both were good sized portions and tasty enough. My daughter is moving to the area soon so I can see us coming back here again to try other things such as the burger the people next to us got. It looked delicious!

Such a great place. Love the music and the decor. The staff are super friendly, the service is fast and the food is really really good. They have an extensive menu, many options, and they all looked good. I can definitely see this as a regular spot when in town. The vibe is very welcoming and familiar. Really just a great place to hang out with friends, family, or solo and enjoy some good food & drink. I will definitely be back.

This was our first time to Cascadia Grill, and it was amazing! Our server was warm and knowledgeable. They made it easy to find and avoid soy, a major allergen of mine, and all of the food we had at our table was deliciously made and plated. The restaurant itself is a cool place to see PNW themed photos. Even as it got busier, it was still easy to converse with the people at my table. I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu.

This was our first time here and it won't be our last! It was phenomenal! The food, the atmosphere, tge service all were A+++! The portions are HUGE! I worked on my Polynesian Steak sub over three meals and only ate maybe 10% of the fries and had to give them away! So delicious! Artichoke dip and raspberry white chocolate cheesecake was delicious too! Definitely get reservations if you can! We walked up and were lucky that the "cold drafty table" that they leave unsat for that reason was open for us! We were forewarned so that was really appreciated! We were out to see a play at the State theater just a couple blocks up the road so didn't have to move the car either as parking is difficult to find easily! Can't wait to go back!

Deep-fried pork chop. This was criminally bland and fries were mostly tiny bottom of the basket bits.

It has been years since I've sent food back at a restaurant, but Cascadia Grill broke that streak. I had some battered pork chops with gravy and house cut fries. The chops were the most horrifically boring things I have eaten at a restaurant in memory. The fries on top of the pile were good, but underneath was what could best be described as potato confetti, obviously the dredge from the bottom of the fry basket. The server asked how everything was before I'd had a bite, so I said it was fine, and that was the last we saw of her until she showed up at the end and realized I'd only taken two bites of a chop and eaten a few fries. She did ask if I wanted something else, but that was thirty minutes after initially ordering, so no. She did take the food off the bill and toss it, of course, but there was no apology or acknowledgement other than informing me no one else had ever complained and that it was "weird" I found the food intensely boring. My wife had a salmon special, which she liked okay but wasn't worth nearly $50 by any stretch. Server said she hoped we'd give them another chance sometime, and I said I would, but on further reflection this is another restaurant that proves that the citizens of Olympia love bland food for some reason that continues to baffle me. Add to that crummy service, and no, I won't be back.

Stopped by for lunch with my colleagues on a Tuesday and they had not a single table occupied. We were promptly seated and placed out orders. Some of us ordered their salad while some thier poutine while a few others ordered their steak burger and spicy chicken burger. It took them forever to bring the food out. After such a long wait, the food was cold and dint taste freshly made at all. The place has nice character but due to poor service, quality of food I will not recommend this place. Maybe they had a bad day - not sure but my experience wasnt pleasant at all.

    Garlic Steak 4/5 stars

Came here based on all the positive reviews and it did not disappoint. Of course I had to go with the garlic flank steak (4/5 stars) and my girl ordered the soup and salad (5/5 stars). We also ordered the spinach and artichoke dip (5/5 stars.... So good) The only part of the of the garlic flank steak meal I didn't care for were the crispy potatoes. They came out undercooked for my taste. However, the steak came out a perfect medium rare as ordered. The spinach and artichoke dip is a MUST!!! Service was great and super friendly. Will come back for another date night!

I got loads of ground beef, ground pork, and steaks because I do so much meal prepping. We got it all frozen, probably spent well over $300. Everything in our entire order was rancid. Brown and smells absolutely god awful. I've waited many months to give them the benefit of the doubt and see if any of it was good. It was not. I even went to Stewart's meats out in Roy (where we normally buy big meat packages from) and did a test trial. Let them defrost in the fridge for a day or so. Northwest meats was brown and had a foul odor, Stewart's meats was juicy with blood and no odor at all. Conclusion made. They sold us rotten meat. Not cool for the food industry. Have some standards. That could have made someone really sick had they not known and eaten any of it.

My husband and I are used to meat markets nearby and we immediately noticed that this place smells so much better. They have a wide range of meats. They have a little grocery section with various sodas and desserts which are incredible. Try this place out. You will not be disappointed!

It took them a few minutes to get going, but once they did, the service was really friendly and fast. Sean and I don't eat seafood or mushrooms, and they were actually really accommodating about it. They cooked our vegetables separately in the back so they wouldn't get mixed with the mushrooms, and kept the shrimp on the other side of the grill from our chicken so we didn't have to deal with the seafood flavors. I really appreciated that! My daughter got the fried rice and watching the chef make everything was so much fun. Our chef was really nice, entertaining and clearly knew what he was doing. We did tell them we didn't like shrimp, so they didn't do the whole throwing-shrimp-in-your-mouth thing with anyone at our table. I'll admit, that was a little disappointing because we watched them do it for other tables and it looked hilarious! I kind of wish they would've asked if we wanted the other people at our table to participate anyway. There was also a birthday celebration while we were there, and the staff came out with a cute little song and dance and a treat. The birthday girl looked so happy! Overall, we had a blast. The food was amazing, everyone was friendly, and it was just a really fun experience. We'll definitely be back, and next time I want to bring friends and do dinner. She was pleasant and sat us in the sunshine on the patio. I was sad to see so few patrons. I will review the best part first: THE COCKTAILS: The spirits and craft cocktail selection was huge / the beer & wine not so much. My Old Fashioned was perfect! Food: Seafood Rosé Pasta (bay scallops, shrimp, northwest manila clams, rosé prosecco cream sauce, grilled bread) -- inconsistent cook on the different seafoods & the sauce was meh. Not worth $42.00 Grilled Romaine Salad (white balsamic bleu cheese dressing, gorgonzola, cherry tomatoes, aleppo toasted hazelnuts) -- plenty of romaine, could've been grilled longer / not much quantity of tomatoes or toasted hazelnuts -- basically a "side salad" for $15.00 Lobster Bisque (house smoked tomatoes, roasted red pepper, cream, butter poached langoustine lobster) -- tasted more like roasted tomato / red pepper soup (no lobster or seafood flavors) - there were 4 small pieces of poached?? langoustine lobster on top - I question poached because the pieces definitely had a bite to them. Worth $15.00 -- no. Due to reviews we had the Baklava Crumble (pistachios, honey, vanilla ice cream) -- basically cut up (very chewy, not crispy) baklava tossed over ice cream for $14.00 -- maybe a bad night for this dessert? We like to support small Olympia businesses and will go back for cocktails but the food costs are too high - we don't mind high costs IF we come away satisfied - unfortunately the food didn't measure up to the cost. As we drove away, we saw the "Budd Bay Cafe" was very busy - I think next time we'll have cocktails at Cynara, then cross the street for food and wine. We were intrigued with the "Clam Chowder Entrée" which is served à la minute (Washington manila clams, bacon, cream, celery, roasted potatoes, grilled bread) -- is it a deconstructed chowder?? $33.00 Sorry no pics.
