Pita Burrito, Carne Asada ($16.27) - Huge burrito incoming, probably over 2 lb. I would say similar to Mission-sized, but the interior ingredients are not quite up to standard. Still, very impressive for the region. There's a large tortilla, warm and pliable, absolutely filled with tons of stuff. Firstly, a very good portion of beef, not seasoned much other than salt, but giving a great beefy flavor. The beef chunks are crisped up on the flat top perfectly, giving plenty of texture. This does dry out the meat, so there's a tradeoff, but that's what the cheese, guac and sour cream are for. Enough moisture is included so that, while not nearly as messy to eat as a typical Mission burrito, it's enough for each bite. There's a well balanced portion of rice and beans as well. The construction is pretty good so the burrito can be eaten in the hand without issues. (5/5) Is this the best burrito in the world, as some people seem to think? No way, but I think it's very solid for being in Washington and is one of the best I've had since moving to the state. Note: Pita's charges a little extra for credit card usage. I'm not sure how much percentage (it was 27 cents for us), and I don't recall them having a sign up stating they charge for credit cards.

The really nice thing about this shop over many others is that they have lots and lots of big tables and while they do play music it can be heard but it's not the only thing you hear. It's nice to hear my conversation with my friends when I'm with them. I've been by a few times. Twice hung out for a couple hours and a couple times grabbed coffee to go. I've had their pumpkin spice latte which was better than "that other place" and a nonfat white chocolate mocha both sugar free and regular. Both were excellent. I will continue coming back here to this spot as my new weekly coffee place.

The meats were cooked to a perfection. Not too crispy, not under seasoned, not over powering. My partner got an OverFlo Potato. The chicken was absolutely delicious. Juicy, not overpowering in flavor, soft. It definitely made me regret not getting the chicken added. Next time I'm going to order all meats because I trust this man knows what he's doing!

Not my liking, but they enjoy it quite a bit. All the sides and extras are excellent. I wish the Mac and cheese bites were less zesty and more salty, but I'm a dreamer. Wally's has sold or is selling ownership, so I hope they remain the same general quality and taste they've had since I first started going here. Until quality, service, or something showstopping changes we'll continue to enjoy our meals there. Definitely recommend eating at Wally's.
