Hal was their service mechanic. He was professional, polite and very knowledgeable. He explained what he was doing breaking it down in layman's terms. Shane did not return my phone call. This company doesn't care about its customers and gives no effort to resolve the issue. Customer beware. I moved to Ridgefield and they told me to trust them .. bla bla Once my heat went off they hit me and double dipped me with every bill you could imagine . I thought I had a service contract ( she said I did .. hmm) and then said I didn't . I paid for part And they were crazy expensive . Shane, I hired Taconic Heating & cooling to service the A/C who came yesterday 05/10/16 and fixed ONE SINGLE wire that was loose. Not chewed, just loose. But even if it was chewed, I understand you (Casey) is an A/C repair company and would fix A/C wiring as well as needed, no? I had to hire another A/C company to check the wires and they did and fixed it! Nevertheless, it cost $ 135.00 for the service call and $ 55.03 for ONE wire repair and verification of the other wires. All other wires were fine. Nothing was damaged. My A/C was running in no time. That Service call included checking the pressure, changing filter (I had the filter) and ensuring the airflow was properly balanced. These I had a service contract with you (Casey Energy) and it was NOT done. Easy and smooth work by TACONIC HEATING (914) 734-9300. Very nice people to work with. Very responsive and got things done. Very disappointed with Casey Energy which did not make an effort to make things right. Fuel I am getting with Mitchell, which gave me a good impression and low prices and Heating maintenance, I am still shopping. I might stay with Mitchell as well, as they surveyed the equipment yesterday and have a service contract as well. I was with them for about ten years. Really eight too long. They return calls and are friendly enough but you better watch them every yesr. Their prices are higher than Lehy's and many others and if you're a homeowner not really on top of things they will not ask you to do preventative maintenance. This must be their secret sauce to their business model, not to do the work you need to save you money in the long term. I mean why do an annual $149 boiler maintenance program cleaning burners and filters - this way you can soak the homeowner for a less efficient system to use more petrol and eventually sock it to them for an expensive boiler replacement etc. The fact is just because Sean Casey inherited this business from his relatives doesn't make him a guy looking out for his customers in this cut throat world or energy trading and commodities. My laziness cost me and I suggest you really do your homework here. I have been with Casey energy for 3 years, and was very disappointed this year when I found out after I called for oil prices that they were one of the highest priced companies around. Their quote was so much higher than other companies. I didn't realize that I couldn't go with another oil company for oil if I had a service contract with them. Come to find out because I have a contract with them that means I must get my oil through them or it voids the contract that I just paid for. So now I'm stuck paying a much higher oil rate because I didn't ask enough questions. I also told them they never sent me the full contract to read so I had no idea this was the case. They insisted I was mailed a contract, which I was not. NO matter what I said about leaving the company, they would not lower the rate to meet the other company even to keep me, so unfortunately it doesn't seem like this company cares about keeping people more than the one season. So they might have gotten me for higher oil prices for the season but they will never get my business again. read more

Their service technicians are top notch. Always friendly, personable, and willing to come at any time to help. Be weary of the contract plan.
