Derek has been a staple at the bar delivering constant support and management. The waitresses always have a smile on their face regardless of how busy it is. And may I point out Heather again as things get busy, she dials into the job and gets everything done. From making drinks, closing out tabs, ordering and delivering food.... I can't say enough good things about this establishment and the people the hire. Come check it out and stay a while.

I also like that they update the menu from time to time, so there's usually something new to try while still keeping plenty of reliable favorites. We like the burgers but something a bit more unique that they offer are Tavern Bowls. If you're looking for a place to watch a game, this is one of the go-to spots in the area. There are TVs throughout the restaurant, making it easy to catch whatever sporting event is on. It's also very family-friendly (until later at night), which makes it a great option whether you're meeting friends or bringing the kids. Service has been consistently good on my visits, and the staff does a great job even when it's busy. Overall, it's a fun atmosphere with good food, great specials, and dependable service. Highly recommended.

The cucumber salad was flavorful and not too sour/pickley. My friend and I both noted how umami the savory sauce was- not too bacon, not too mushroom. The potatoes were not too salty or under-seasoned. Literally willing to drive up again if/when someone tells me to go. We continue to be impressed by both the quality and creativity of their food. On this visit, I ordered The Pilgrim, which is essentially Thanksgiving dinner wrapped inside a pasty. It features turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, and gravy. It arrived absolutely piping hot--seriously, give it a few minutes before taking that first bite--but once it cooled down, it was phenomenal. The combination of flavors was comforting and satisfying, and a little cranberry sauce with each bite provided the perfect balance. My only minor critique would be that the ingredients could have been distributed a bit more evenly throughout the pasty. I also found the gravy slightly more peppery than expected, occasionally overshadowing the stuffing, sweet potatoes, and turkey. Even so, this has become my favorite pasty at Cornish Pasty Co. We also tried the Peppered Steak pasty, which features sirloin, portobello mushrooms, leeks, zucchini, Stilton bleu cheese, and a peppercorn brandy cream sauce. The quality of the ingredients was excellent, especially the steak and the wonderfully flaky crust. For my personal taste, the peppercorn brandy cream sauce was a little more prominent than I prefer, and I found myself wanting more of the steak, mushroom, and Stilton flavors to come through. That's simply a matter of preference, though--it was still a well-executed dish made with quality ingredients. One thing Cornish Pasty Co. consistently gets right is the crust. Every pasty we've had has been flaky, flavorful, and substantial without feeling heavy. This wasn't our first experience with their menu. Over the years we've thoroughly enjoyed the Tikka Masala, the Lamb & Mint (which was a genuine "wow" dish), and the Royale. Those are all excellent choices, but after this visit, The Pilgrim has moved to the top of my personal rankings. Our two pasties came in under $20 each, making for a filling and satisfying meal at a reasonable price. We ordered takeout, and while there was a bit of a wait after we arrived, it's worth noting that these are made-to-order pasties, not fast food. Even though we only ordered a few minutes before arriving, the quality was well worth the extra time. My biggest criticism has nothing to do with the food. While waiting, my wife and I sat inside briefly, and we found the music extremely loud. During our visit, the restaurant was playing Silth, a progressive metalcore band. Musical tastes are obviously subjective, but the combination of the style and volume made conversation difficult for us. My wife eventually decided to wait in the car because it was simply too loud. The restaurant clearly aims for a lively pub atmosphere, with games available and a diverse mix of patrons enjoying themselves, so many people may appreciate that environment. It just wasn't a great fit for us. That said, the food is outstanding, the portions are generous, and we'll absolutely be back. We'll probably continue ordering takeout, but that's a reflection of our personal preferences rather than any issue with the restaurant itself. If you're looking for creative, well-made pasties with high-quality ingredients, Cornish Pasty Co. is definitely worth a visit.

The drink menu was very interesting - I had the Oaxacan Pineapple and asked if it could be made spicy, and it was probably the best drink I'd had all week. Service was great and parking was easy. I was impressed and would recommend it to anyone that wants a good meal.

If you're lookin for some heat in your wings, Wear some chapstick. They really are hot. They are also sticky and really sweet, which aids in determining whether that back tooth has a cavity or not. You'll know immediately. We had no problems with our server in the bar area; which seems to be all waiters. The waitresses all seem to service the front dining area...that's probably to keep them from getting hit on by inebriated patrons every 2 seconds. Makes sense. Beer prices aren't too bad, and they have a passable selection of crafts. They seem to lean towards Four Peaks for local stuff. I went with the Goose Island 312 since it was hot as blazes that day. Wings are ridiculously priced. That's not just here, its everywhere! Note that when you order wings, that's what you get. So don't feel left out when they arrive sans carrots and celery. Well folks, wait till you hear this! On Sat., 11-10-18, my "little old lady" friends and I (6 women and 1 man, we're all in our 60's and 70's) were enjoying lunch and cocktails at Casey Jones. A woman and her husband were at a table facing us and appeared to be watching the football game. However, every time I looked her way, the woman was glaring at me and making faces!? When another member of my group and I got up to leave, the strange woman walked over to our table and looked at my bill. When she stood at our table and watched my friend and I in the parking lot, another group member asked her what she was doing. Her reply, "I'm calling the police because those drunks are going to drive home" (I had 2 small glasses of wine with lots of food). When my friends went to talk to the owner, his lame reply was, "I can't control my customers." BEWARE OF CASEY JONES!!! They really don't value their regular customers. I have been going to this restaurant/bar ever since I could walk and I am now feeling so grateful to write the best review I can of this wonderful place!! They make the BEST wings in the Valley! Since wings are a HUGE part of my life, I don't mess around when I say the BEST wings!! Their spinach con queso is another great appetizer, served with fresh tortilla chips, this is enough food to feed 2 good size people (you know who you are)! I come weekly and am always served by Chris. I request to only sit with him when he is working and if he is not I ask if Billy is serving because he provides great service as well. Both of them always greet me with a smile and answer any questions I have regarding the menu and their suggestions are spot on as to what I am looking for to eat or drink that night. Absolutely love this bar. Great atmosphere, great food, not so great football fans ;) haha sorry Packer fans!!! One of the only bars I could go just to eat honestly. You can't say that about almost any others. The food doesn't taste like it was submerged in oil for its entirety of being cooked, and there is some good healthy choices for those of you with your waistline in mind. Fun atmosphere & good bar food - had a solid Cheeseburger & fries + a Cape Cod. My friend had Fried Zucchini & a beer. This place felt very Cheers-ish - like everyone knew everyone, so good neighborhood bar. I chatted up ladies behind me & they were super nice. Yay for a positive Friday night!
