The local dealer charges you $350 for that. But they repair more than just Audis. When I was there, they had a giant red tractor waiting in their parking lot. Don't ask me how it got there! Our son's Ram 2500 diesel was having transmission problems and we took it to Empire Automotive on a Thursday for diagnostics. Chris called me the next morning to let me know the transmission was in fact toast and would need replacement. However, he had good news for us. He saw a warranty sticker on the transmission and called the company and found out the transmission was still under warranty. The transmission company sent out a replacement transmission free of charge and helped cover the cost of the installation. Chris installed the new transmission and made sure it was all dialed in by the following Wednesday. I was only charged for the diagnostic and installation of the transmission, which was very reasonably priced and I will get reimbursed for a big chunk of it from the transmission company to boot. I appreciate their honesty and integrity with their customers, and I never felt like they were trying to pad their profits. Just good folks looking out for their customers. They could have just as easily ignored the sticker, like I'm sure occurs more than we know at other garages, and charged us for a transmission as well, since we had no idea the transmission had a warranty when we bought it. They have certainly won my trust and I will not hesitate to take my vehicles there going forward. The entire staff is friendly, honest, and knowledgeable and their turn around time was much quicker than expected. Based on my experience, I absolutely recommend them to anybody!

I am super particular when it comes to my vehicles (make that "obsessive") and always want the best for them when it comes to service and how they are cared for. Empire was very accommodating with my desire to use my preferred fluids of choice (Amsoil) and provide them myself. Chris was also very helpful in getting my vehicle in and out in a timely manner and it was ready right when he said it would be. Everyone in their office was so nice and pleasant to deal with (particularly Gabby) and I had such a good feeling with the entire experience even as a first time customer. I felt like my car was in very good hands and I will absolutely be coming back as a repeat customer in the future. The pricing was also incredibly reasonable for what I had done! I'm very fortunate that their shop is within about a 2 minute walk of my house, so it makes a great thing even better when you feel you have an honest and dependable "neighborhood" mechanic. However, 2025 August the tint on the back windshield started to peel, so I tried to take it there for the warranty, and they told me that they no longer use that tent, so I had to go to Blackout Window Tinting in Petaluma and they would honor the warranty. I was originally told it would be done same day and then he told me he couldn't get the tint off so he would need my car another day. This was a little bit inconvenient since I needed my car for work, but I ended up borrowing my parents. It ended up taking three days and my car smelled of ammonia afterwards. What really frustrates me is that all of the fine lining that your car needs to defrost the back windshield was ripped off. I noticed it months later not realizing that is why my rear windshield defroster was no longer working. I did some research on the Internet and found out that it was most likely during the scraping of the windshield tint that all of those fine electric filaments were ripped off. This was not mentioned to me, though after the service and I learned the hard way. When I reached out to John, I got no response. I can't afford to repair that on my car since the entire lining was ripped up. Pictures are included. Not good business.

Then I stopped by Shotwell Auto Body and met owner/manager Charlene O'Connor. She inspected the scratch and said, "You know, I think we might be able to buff that out." So a couple of days later, I dropped off the Subaru and returned a few hours later to find it looking good as new. No sign of the scratch. So how much do you suppose that cost? $200 maybe? $300? "Don't worry about it," Charlene said. She did the job for free! I asked her why she suggested buffing instead of a higher priced repair. "We're honest," she said. Needless to say, I highly recommend this business. They can't do all the jobs for free, but you'll get a fair price, and their reviews confirm they do quality work.

In the end, I went with his suggestion. I also had him replace my horn that was dying (he founds lots of corrosion probably due to me living next to the coast) and hardwire my front and rear cameras. All the work was done quickly and at super reasonable pricing! FYI Miguel only does installation and doesn't provide any products, but will suggest products for you to get. Highly recommend him!

We left it on for 6 days to give it a chance, and still the same situation. I called them and spoke to David and he said he spoke to the owner and their tech & they will not do anything for us, aside from offering us to purchase an extended warranty. What a joke. You sold us something that is BROKEN. I cannot put food in there for my family. You should do better, and do right as a business and for a family, especially. The theater recliners don't work, and I was told that before we took it home.. so I appreciate the fact that they were at least honest about that. To top it off, our generator had enough oil to run it twice, we had to get oil. Yes, it's a used unit.. but GEEZE, have some pride in the units you sell. BEWARE.

We bought a fifth wheel from Reed's Trailer Sales and we had a very mixed experience…read more My husband and I were in the market for a trailer to live in with our little one as the California housing market isn't allowing us to purchase a traditional home. We found a fifth wheel that we were interested in and talked to a sales associate about checking it out. After putting down a $1,000 deposit, they held the trailer for us until the weekend when we could drive the 2 hours to the dealership to inspect it. They didn't have it hooked up to power or water, so we couldn't test anything to make sure it worked, and it was clear that the trailer hadn't been very thoroughly cleaned after the prior owner sold it. The employees didn't have a lot of details or knowledge about the trailer, but being naive about the whole process and in a hurry to purchase as our apartment lease was ending, my husband and I purchased the trailer. A week and half later, at our walkthrough, we noticed how dirty the trailer still was, including the FULL black and gray water tanks! Ew! How long had it been sitting with someone else's waste in it?! We also noticed new stains on the floor from when we initially viewed it. We took the trailer home despite the issues in hopes that we could clean it up and resolve some of our concerns. Unfortunately, the stains are permanent AND the trailer is too long for most parks to accommodate it. :( A few days after picking it up, and before we even stayed a single night in it, we inquired about exchanging the trailer for a smaller model on the lot that cost $100 more than the one we purchased. We offered to drive the trailer back (in better condition than we bought it as it was now noticeably cleaner) and still unused, and pay the difference as well as any applicable taxes and fees. However, we were told by Mr. Dan Reed, himself, that it would cost us an additional $11,000 because of registration fees AND depreciation on the trailer...what?! How could a used trailer depreciate after it was driven from the dealership to our driveway and after it was in MUCH cleaner condition than when it was sold to us?! He also claimed that the hefty price to exchange trailers was because the salesmen were already paid...which is anyone's guess as to how that applies? We feel like we were misled and a bit taken advantage of. As a young family trying to manage living in these difficult times and in this expensive state, we were hoping that Reed's Trailer Sales would have been a bit more understanding and accommodating. Since then, we've had to very thoroughly clean the mildew-filled washing machine, scrub the stainless steel oven handles which are somehow stained, and flush the black water tank 3 times during the single weekend that we've been able to use it. We've been able to make a couple improvements and overall, we feel this trailer is good value and a good investment, but we wish things could have turned out a bit differently.

I returned to E&J and because I live not too far away, Erik gave a ride home. On the day of service, the same professionalism was provided. My A/C now works great! Erik was prompt, efficient, honest and trustworthy. The cost was fair and reasonable, and I got great value for my money. I will definitely return to these guys again! They are a little bit hard to find, so take the Redwood hwy exit and make the last right turn into a long driveway at the end of the Wilco shopping center.

I was only asking if they would so I could decide whether I wanted to used them again or start fresh with someone else. To be clear I was not insisting on it, I was just asking and the person on the phone started, literally, yelling at me about how they needed to get paid. I tried to explain that they had already patched the tire twice, the last time a week ago, and I was happy to pay for a new puncture but if they did not think I should have to pay if it was not repaired properly and after a lot of back and forth he said fine, and then hung up on me.

They gave me a $70 new customer discount without me even asking. The cost of the maintenance service ended up being nearly $400 less than the estimate Hansel gave me, and nearly $300 less than the estimate Outwest gave me (but no shade to Outwest at all; I've never been to them, but they seem to be good as well from what I've heard). The service at Yotaluma was comprehensive and ended up taking under an hour and a half. They are conveniently located near downtown Petaluma, so I was able to take a short walk (maybe 10 minutes) to downtown and eat at a restaurant by the river while I waited, which was really nice. The people at Yotaluma were super friendly, communicative, and did a good job at explaining everything to me when I asked a few questions--thank you, Joe! I will also mention that as a young woman getting a car service for the first time, I've heard stereotypes in the media about people in my demographic getting ripped off by some auto repair shops, since we might not know as much about cars, or we're perceived as not knowing as much about cars. I experienced the exact opposite of this stereotype at Yotaluma :) They are good people and I can't recommend them enough.
