I would highly recommend this place. We needed emergency repair (new radiator) and couldn't get in anywhere else. He got us in within the hour and had our repair complete the next day. He was very honest, transparent, and kind, and he did great work and took several steps we had not asked for, and he did not charge for, to take extra good care of us, like checking the oil, cleaning the headlights, and checking and clearing all engine codes, even though we asked and paid only for the radiator repair. Frequent, 50+ years, visitor to Estes but had never required auto repair services when I experienced an obvious rear brake malfunction, i.e., I could hear grinding when applying my brakes. The car gods were with me when I found Casey's Automotive while dropping off household recycling across the street. Was able to schedule a quick date and time for a repair. My battery gave out after our drive into Estes. I scanned the shops available and Casey's had great reviews. I dropped the Mrs. off at the laundromat, headed to Casey's and was back in time to help her out the clothes into the dryer. Not only did they get me a great battery at a great price, they were replacing it within minutes of my arrival. During that time, I got to know Neil and his son. They are great, grassroots folks and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit as they worked. They are a great asset to the Estes Park community. My Jeep recently developed an ominous "clunk" in the front end, so I asked a few locals where I should take it and several people recommended Casey's. I'm glad they did. I took it in this morning hoping it was just something that needed tightening and not something expensive like bad u-joints or a problem with the steering system. Two hours later the got a call. Our Jeep Cherokee gave out in the drive-up lane of our bank - thought it might be battery (tow truck driver used a special battery charger but, nope, it wouldn't hold a charge), alternator, or even engine -- took it to Neil at about 3:30 pm one day, and by 9:30 the next morning he had it ready to go! The problem was a broken drive belt, which Neil replaced, along with putting in a new front crank seal -- he checked over everything else and all was fine -- and a really fair and reasonable price as well! This is the best automotive shop anywhere -- if you come here, you will be treated with kindness and honesty, and these guys really know their stuff! Lolol Niel I think you're the one with memory loss. You started screaming at me when I ask that you please replace the MAP sensor (which I would have happily paid for) and remove the $100 diagnostic fee, because you had already charged me two of those prior for the same issue. We had talked about replacing it when I dropped my car off in the first place not about another diagnostic appointment. The trump signs were no issue before when I believed you were a Trustworthy, considerate human. It was when I saw you're extreme hostility for a pretty basic request that Trump flags seemed to explain your attitude and presumptions about me. After you called me a "Hippy Free loader" I felt it was appropriate to call them out. Also San Francisco? I had Texas plates. I have memory loss? I'm 7th generation Texan, so weird you're making up a random city you think I'm from. Back the the service I received. When I took my car into a shop in Ft. Collins they told me that my battery cable wasn't even secure to my battery. Seemed pretty funny because you had mentioned you checked the wiring in my car for the "diagnostic fee". Love that attention to detail!! Also I remember you screaming don't let the door hit my ass on the way out. Glad you reminded me of the same thing in this post. You also threw my keys at me. These guys are the best in the buisness. I was on vacation in Estes Park and my 2012 toyota tundra had brake issues. Called them up got an appointment lined up and was in and out in less than three hours with a total brake job. Friendly and knowledgeable about all aspects of my truck, and awesome attitudes to boot. Gave this guy 1200 dollars cash for repairs for my truck. Really appreciated the work. I. It iced that there was play in my door handle after I got the truck back. I big deal it was bent a little from being pulled on when locked. 2000 Tacoma it happens. Then a day later I lock the door it won't unlock because of the door handle having a bent rod inside. I have worked on cars my whole life my family has a repair shop on the east coast so I know and if I had tools here I would have done the work myself. Regardless they did the work I paid him what he wanted and do not complain. I call him to simply ask if one of his guys yanked on the handle by chance while it was locked and he goes right into denial. Saying door handle break well it didn't break it was bent so yea he has an attitude and instant denial shows guilt. I didn't expect him to say yea just thought maybe he would take a look at it. He starts running his mouth I say I'll be over he says come on over I'll o To you down. I'm like oh ok I was bringing the truck over and you threaten me. Nice so I laugh and say I called you to ask you a question and you act like an asshole. Now granted if I had a 50 dollar repair done it would be one thing It to treat someone that way after they give 1200 dollars cash. I wouldn't recommend this guy to an enemy read more

I can't say enough great things about Casey's Automotive. We were staying in Estes Park for a vacation. On the way there we ran over a deer and ripped something off the bottom of the car. It kept making a scrapping sound when you drove into parking lots. Caseys got it in late in the day, taking the part off and bent it and fastened back onto the car. Friendly, fast and efficient. The best service we have ever had!! Our family was on a trip out here. Before we left we had our brakes done at home in Minnesota. On our travels out here we could here a terrible noise coming from the brakes when we would apply a lot of pressure. We were referred here by a local. We called at 8 am and they worked us in at 2 pm. He found out that our local shop but synthetic pads on our van and that's what was making the noise. He put different pads on and we haven't heard the noise since!! I would highly recommend them!! Neil and his team are absolutely amazing. Today, I found myself in the national park, two hours from home, with a broken radiator hose. A couple in the park helped me make a temporary fix until I could get into an auto shop in Estes Park. I went to one auto shop and they told me they wouldn't be able to help me for four days which I was unable to do as I live in Denver. I made my way to Casey's Automotive and explained my issue to Neil. He immediately jumped up and helped me out, taking apart my engine to fix the issue. His work even managed to save my radiator so I wouldn't need to get a new one. Him and his team had me out of there in an hour and back home to Denver safely. He did not need to take the time out of his schedule to help me but he did and I am so extremely grateful. He was professional, kind and extremely knowledgeable and I will definitely be returning.
