While I do consider myself a part of that subset, I prefer pizzas that use 00 flour and have crispy, aerated crusts with good bubble formation that has a slight chew to it, similar to ones fired in true brick ovens or commercial pizza ovens. For that reason, Nicky's was just okay for the price that it was. I probably wouldn't order from Nicky's again because there are so many other places like Tascio's or Northeast.
