This was my perfectly good and very affordablely priced lemon drop with tequila and tahin around the rim cocktail

The food seems to be mostly snacks from what I could tell. The service, especially from Arvie, is top-notch--he's a total class act and a true professional. He's a regular presence here and clearly loved by the locals. The ambiance? It feels like stepping into a whole different era--maybe the '80s? I love it, especially as an '80s baby myself! And last but definitely not least--the drink prices are absolutely unmatched. Y'all need to come check this place out. Don't let anything stop you!

The old things still matter. Like jazz and conversation, a good whisky pour and a cheeky bartender. It's how things were - and how they still are at Casey's. Our party of 6 grabbed a high table by the bar. We lit up some shots and brought over some pizza from next door. It's all good. The jazz kicked off at 8 and sounded old school cool with shades of bebop, latin jazz and some funk. To sit here on a night like this - knowing this is how they rolled 60 years ago - and it's still relevant and badass, is heartwarming. 5 star hang, across the board.

Amazing ! Honestly guys I had no idea there is a life in Woodland Hills. The jazz band is a top! Love this small local bar. Very lovely hidden jem!

My first time at Casey's Tavern and I had a very good time. We came here because we wanted to go to another bar who had a full bar and Cassie is the place for a full bar with everything you need and a nice live band playing. Came here on a Sunday evening around six and that's what time the jazz starts and they play music from Louisiana with a very nice Louisiana theme inside . The population is its considered majority of elderly, but it is welcoming for everyone and anyone literally have a good time here. The customer service was exceptional and attentive, and everyone had a good positive attitude inside. The bar tender made us a good green tea shot one of the best that I ever had, and it was a good vibe to finish it off well with some good music in the background. They do not have food here but they do have snacks. I did not inquire of what particular snacks but I do know that they have snacks but if you want I recommend eating before and definitely grab a drink here cause you would not be disappointed the bartenders know what they're doing . On that note, I highly recommend here if you want to have a good time and this is a really good live jazz band and a good atmosphere . The place is not too modern, but it is very spacious inside, with a lot of seating and it is spacious with enough bar seating. The prices are super reasonable as well too. We ordered three drinks, and it was only 25 bucks. There's plenty of free parking that is metered! -Marshay D.

Love coming here for live Jazz and Rockabilly! Jazz is every Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday night! A must go. Feels like a living room from the late 80s/early 90s!

I don't live anywhere near Casey's but I will occasionally make a special trip on a Sunday, Tuesday, or Thursday to hear some of the best, old time jazzers in the area. There aren't many places left where you can go for live music with no cover, no minimum. It's really only necessary when you don't know who you're hearing but these guys are amazing. It's got a divey feel but in a classier way. Great prices, friendly crowd and bartenders. Sometimes there's food available from Pete's Meats or other vendors. There's parking in the back but it's very tight. You can usually find a spot on the street at meters which are free later at night. Cash only so bring enough for your drinks and to tip the bartender and band!

At an old school bar in canoga park . They have Netflix and the nfl game today . Lots of bars do not have the game and Beyoncé is at halftime . Free macaroni and beers in a bottle . They have rules here . Clean bathroom and you get your own drinks .

Very expensive - drinks that were once $12 are now $22 but the exact same place no updated atmosphere. I am surprised and disappointed by the change. The service is okay but nothing special. Would probably not come back since it's cash only and prices that would be comparable to a high end restaurant like Fleming or Ruth's Chris. This is our last time at Casey's since it's just not as in line with the common person as it used to be.

It's a dive bar but I got more Elks Lodge and American Legion vibes due to the primary demographic. It's cool for Boomers to have a spot. The cool artwork and ancient furniture fit the place. I've seen newer stuff along dirt roads and the Mississippi River...definitely didn't expect Canoga Park to have retired or emeritus Good 'ol Boys. There was some live jazz playing and it was Old Dixie style. Not really my thing. We were politely told to keep it down while talking during the show--I forgot I was a bar lol. They had some distinct rituals of yesteryear. Patrons and Staff were cordial. I felt safe, comfortable, and welcomed. The patronage rules were kind of funny. They might as well just say who they don't want to come inside because it would make them uncomfortable to see a man with a sleeveless shirt or backwards ball cap lol Being inclusive to all walks of life creates a more intimate connections over beer and sports. The simple rules were posted by the ladies room. I would have preferred to read signs about kindness, understanding, compassion, responsible public discourse (refrain from politics, religion, and gender bashing) rather than being the dress code police--comes off judgmental for a dive bar...but it's ran by Boomers who know what's best for the world --look what they've left us lol I digressed-- public decorum and decency surrounding attitudes and treating others how you'd want to treated would be more appropriate. The bathroom had a nursing room odor but I'm not judging. Perhaps, they could clean the brown tile walls or install an automatic air freshener. Parking was easy. Meters are free on Sunday. My wine was terrible. I want to flush it down the drain but I didn't want to reenter the ladies room. I don't think there's any food service. But I did see outside food being enjoyed by other patrons.

I went to Casey's Tavern on my 21st birthday to celebrate with my girlfriend. There was a jazz band playing that night and I believe they always have live music on Tuesday's and Thursday's. Bartender was responsive and made good drinks. Good selection of beer too. Fun place to be and it has a warm, old timey atmosphere. Check it out if you like cheap drinks and live jazz. Just be careful about swearing.

Old dive bar but jazz is the best! String economical drinks too. Familial older regulars hangout most nights, nice staff.

($18 - Hangar 1 Mandarin Blossom Vodka, cold-pressed pineapple juice, fresh raspberry purée, lime juice fresh mint topper). I'm not a big drinker and am a fan of drinks that you can't really taste the alcohol and this was great. It was a fun to drink and was refreshing. For our entree my friend had the Fish & Chips. ($27 - Crispy haddock fillet, sea salt fries, tartar sauce, grilled lemon). I tried a piece of her fish and it was thinly battered, soft, and flavorful. I usually try to stay away from fried fish like this just because places use way too much better or the fish gets super oily but they was not the case with their fish & chips. You can tell they use quality ingredients. I had the 4 piece Spicy Tuna on Crispy Rice. ($34 - Fresh ahi, dynamite sauce, wasabi tobiko, togarashi, toasted sesame). Oh my goodness was this delicious. This is usually something you'd eat as an appetizer but eating it alone is a meal in itself. Yes, it's pricey BUT it is totally worth it. Saint & Second is an upscale dining experience. Their food delivers to that level as well. I highly recommend if you're looking for a new date night spot or something intimate with friends. You can really taste the freshness of all the ingredients they use.

However, in my two most recent visits, only the atmosphere has remained a highlight -- the service has declined significantly. My most recent visit was two nights ago, on Father's Day, for a celebratory dinner. Our server was curt and unwelcoming throughout the meal. When my glass of wine arrived, the server suggested I taste it first -- which I did -- and it was immediately apparent that the wine had turned. Having ordered the same wine many times before without issue, I was confident this particular bottle was off. When I asked our server if the bartender could open a fresh bottle, she agreed without hesitation. However, moments later, a gentleman I assumed to be the manager approached and informed me that a new bottle would not be opened, as the current one had only been opened the day before and was, in his opinion, fine. His only alternative was to offer the same varietal at a higher price point. I understand that restaurants may have policies regarding open bottles, but in all my years of dining out, I have never encountered an establishment that refused to replace a glass of wine a guest found unacceptable -- especially when the server herself had encouraged me to taste it for that very reason. This experience left a lasting negative impression, and unfortunately I will neither return nor recommend this restaurant going forward.
