Absolutely the most unprofessional and disrespectful inspector I have ever encountered. This individual showed up 40 minutes late to a scheduled appointment with no courtesy call, no text, no heads-up--nothing. He arrived, realized he didn't have the access code to enter the property, and instead of doing the obvious--texting or calling to request it a couple times --he left a single voicemail, made zero additional effort to reach out, stayed for maybe two minutes, and then left. When I returned his call (45 minutes later after finishing a scheduled meeting), he immediately snapped, saying, "I'm done. I will not be disrespected!"--then hung up on me. Let's be clear here: he was the one who showed up late, made no effort to communicate past his one phone call, and failed to take even the most basic steps to get access. And somehow, he spins it around and accuses me of being disrespectful? The level of arrogance, lack of professionalism, and sheer incompetence is mind-blowing. If this is the kind of person this company sends out to represent them, it speaks volumes about their standards. I strongly recommend avoiding them at all costs. FIRST. If you have any issues, call them ASAP. I have arachnophobia so when I saw HUGE spiders at my mom's house, I almost done had a heart attack. I made a mistake of spraying at it thinking I'll kill it, just to see all the other spiders I didn't see coming down their creepy webs. My fingers were on fire when googling for an exterminating company and thank god I called them. Jose came out and made sure they all went to someone else's house so I could visit my mom on a regular basis. The price is good too. It saved me from buying them another house because of me demolishing their home lol. TIP: don't spray at random bugs bc I guarantee that you will anger the rest and call them before your problem escalates. That's all. read more

I like to understand what experts are doing when I have work done. Mike was extremely patient with my questions, and he explained what he was doing at each stage of the process. We used Casner for our home inspection and also to treat the minor termite issues they uncovered in the inspection. We were very satisfied in our dealings with them. Today, I called because we found 3 termite looking insects in our house over the weekend. I was rather freaked out so I called. They asked me to text them photos of the insects and I did. This is probably one of the least professional businesses out there. The normal guy we used through them was decent enough but things went sideways for him so he was not working anymore. But we still had a contract for ongoing services with them. We attempted to work with the main office. The woman in the main office was beyond rude and showed no interest in keeping our business going with them. Then they sent out a new guy to do a service on the buildings but said oh no there can't be people in there, mind you with the guy that did a decent job did it with no problem, called his main office and refused to do the job we had all ready paid them to do. Casner... what can I say? Not enough! We first called Casner to deal with a rodent problem at our home. Miguel has been our technician, and has always provided excellent service. The rodent problem has been dealt with quite well, and in a very affordable way. We recently had a problem with a transient skunk that nailed two of our dogs. The spray got into the house, and the backyard was a disaster. We had to take the dogs to the emergency vet, so my SUV stank to high heaven. Estimates from local disaster recovery firms were in the thousands of dollars. We called Casner for some advice, and they dispatched a tech, Mike, that same day, removing 99.99% of the odor in the yard, house and my truck. All for a few hundred dollars. On top of that, Mike stopped by the next morning just to check in and see how things were, spraying a bit more where needed. Just a courtesy call to make sure all was well. Wayne was also extremely helpful when I called for further advice and answers. Very easy to talk to, and full of excellent advice on dealing with the immediate issue, and on how to prevent a reoccurance. Overall, an excellent company with dedicated, polite and professional techs who really go the extra mile. I would strongly encourage anyone that needs any pest control to sign on with Casner, you will never be disappointed! read more

CASNER EXTERMINATING is absolutely the absolute best of the best!!! I only write good reviews for businesses that have far exceeded my expectations, and this is one of those businesses. The job CASNER did for me was quite unique and extremely difficult. When I moved to Pebble Beach from Florida, I brought an extremely valuable antique cabinet. It turned out that the cabinet had Florida termites in it. When I discovered the termites, I had already stuffed the cabinet full of dishes, glasses, etc. I called CASNER and they came and treated what they could get at with their non-invasive electric gun. They came back a several more times to retreat the cabinet because it was almost impossible for them to get at all of the termite locations given the fact that the cabinet was stuffed with our dishes, etc. This went on for well over a year, which was my fault because I tried to avoid the massive job of emptying the cabinet so CASNER would have access to all of the termite locations. Finally, I emptied the cabinet and CASNER returned and treated all of the termite locations. No more termites. I was shocked to find that CASNER repeatedly returned to my home, each time on a most timely basis, to treat the termites AT NO COST TO ME, despite the fact that the return visits were my fault because I did not empty the cabinet when CASNER first came to my home. CASNER EXTERMINATING has ny highest possible recommendation without any reservations whatsoever. read more

I had Casner out to do a termite inspection for a VA loan refinance. Before the guy was even out of the truck, he was trying to sell me tenting and treatment services. At the end, he was writing me a quote for the work that he feels we needed to do even though I kept telling him there's no way we are treating the "problems" he found. I would never trust an inspection company who sends out an inspector who works on works on sales commission. He also did not have the time to finish his inspection and said he would need to come back to do another two hours. I declined and used another inspection company. read more

Home was inspected twice for termites by same company inspector, who was friendly, professional and punctual. Estimate was delivered on time and cost was reasonable. However, no one responded to my questions which I had emailed and so I left a phone message after four business days. The call was returned and I made it clear that I needed responses to my questions within a few days. When that didn't happen, I contracted with a different company. I have used Casner Exterminators for over 25 years. They are very considerate of their customers. My service guy Jose is one of the best service people I know. He always calls ahead of time to ensure my dogs are put up so they are not affected by the spray; and once I accidentally did not lock up one of my dogs and she got out of the backyard...Jose called me immediately to let me know and since my dog would not go near him..he kept a watchful eye on my dog until I could come back home and rescue my 20 year old papillon. Customer service is the priority here. When we first called they came over right away. We have used the service for about a year and never a worry. We have had pest problems and they have solved every one. We will call tomorrow and report another pest problem. We are not stressed because it's as good as done. Bottom line : Fast and professional. Casner provided excellent termite control with the electrogun, but my experience with their rodent control section was very upsetting. A friend just went under my manufactured house to spring and remove the rat traps Casner never came back for. Not only did he find a decomposed rat in one trap, he also had to personally kill a poor garter snake that had just become trapped on one of the sticky pads Casner placed to catch rodents. This was very upsetting to both my friend and myself. The snake had lived here for months, doubtless doing a good job of rodent control itself. I called Casner for months after my original contract period expired in November 2016, asking that the technician please please come back and finish the job. They never came back. They left me holding the bag. I had to get someone else to finish their job. Innocent wildlife was killed. I will not use Casner again for rodent control. read more

We made an appointment for a inspection and they showed up and said the termites could be eliminated with an electro-gun. The appointment was made, for this service and the paperwork signed and mailed. The called the day before and confirmed the appointment. Then they never showed up, we waited an hour past the appointment time and then called. The dispatcher said she had no idea he was not there. I called back a week later and talked to the boss, who said he had no idea that somebody was a no show. I requested a weekend appointment and he said he would get back to me. Four business days later I call back and get put on hold for ten minutes and give up. read more

The guy showed up, never took out a flashlight, never looked under the house, never really looked at anything in detail, then sent me an estimate for a full tenting and injection for subterranean termites. A subsequent inspector from another company found no evidence of termites and did not recommend treatment.
