The food was great. I had the bone in glazed pork chop and baked potato and green beans. I kid you not the food and atmosphere and service is great. Thing is someone paid for my dinner. Thank you to whoever it was. June 2nd 2026 7 in the evening.

Cute little Bistro (parking in the rear!) not too big but has a nice looking bar. We started with the crispy wild mushrooms that were excellent!! A side of black garlic aioli complimented then so well! We both had Bistro burgers with fries.....lots of fat crisp fries with large burgers cooked perfectly! We were too full, but the pastries looked amazing- another visit!!

First visit, 5:30 Dinner on Tuesday night. Nice Quiet Laid Back Elegant atmosphere. Server Susie was professional, knowledgable & personable. Our meals were prepared perfectly and priced right for the quality of the food. This is a GEM in Goodlettsville. Looking forward to regular visits.

This place was a perfect date night spot! Loved the grand piano playing in the background during dinner. Food was excellent. It's nice not to drive to Nashville for a good spot like this!

Great hidden gem in Goodlettsville by City Hall. If you want farm to table restaurant without having to go Downtown Nashville, this is for you. Reminds me of Margo or Anwser for those who dine in Nashville. Thanks for a great experience

New Spot Alert: Casper's Bistro - Goodlettsville, TN Lots of green flags!!! Must Try!! Checked out Casper's on their opening night, and I'm already excited to go back! It's a cute bistro-style restaurant with a cozy yet stylish vibe. Ambiance: * Open floor plan seating with lots of space and natural light * A piano at the front and live music for great vibes * Outdoor patio for nice weather days * Bar area with tables if you want a more casual hangout * Dim lighting in the dining area makes it feel perfect for either a casual outing or a dressed-up dinner Parking: Plenty of parking behind and alongside the building. Drinks & Food: *Tried the First Citizen cocktail (you can choose your spirit -- vodka, gin, bourbon, or tequila). I went with tequila, and it was so refreshing, with fresh mint that made it perfect. *We shared the seasoned grilled lamb skewers and lemon zest Parmesan fries. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. Service: Friendly, welcoming staff. Our bartender was super knowledgeable and offered great recommendations for drinks. Casper's also offers pastries and coffee drinks during the day and has a happy hour starting at 4 PM, plus a full dinner menu. Definitely a spot I'll be back to for dinner soon. Highly recommend checking them out if you're in the Goodlettsville area!

Overall good time! This is an elevated experience ($37 filet about 6oz) so keep that in mind. They have a happy hour, that would be my suggestion for the first time, sit at the bar and you'll have a great time for a couple drinks and an appy. Ambience is terrific, service was mostly good however there was no hostess the day we went (Friday @5pm) which made it weird coming. They have three doors to enter and I watched everyone walk in and stand there like "do I seat myself?" Parking is very slim but there are signs saying park at city hall. Clientele while we were there had an "old money" feel, you know the type, looking down the nose, lol. But the restaurant can't help that.

Funny story, a couple years ago I asked my tattoo artist (Jason @ Mooncastle!) for food…read morerecommendations in the area and this was the one he seemed most passionate about. I took my mama there that same weekend and the rest is history.. The whole family was hooked. I live out of state, but my mom and son, in Springfield, frequent this place on special days out. They share a birthday, April 9th, and were having a birthday lunch there this afternoon, when I got the idea to call the restaurant to ask if there was any way I could provide a card to cover their lunch, since you pay at the end. I was greeted and helped by the kindest woman, Alicia. She found them, about to leave, and hurried to take my info! She was lovely in the sincerest way. I gave her my phone number if there were any issues. Well, there were, as my lovely mom perused their delightful gift shop area (think Cracker Barrel but better) so long the pre-auth expired and my card declined! LOL HAPPY BIRTHDAY GUYS The girl who called back to get things squared away was just as darling as could be, I'm sorry I didn't get your name, but thank you. Thanks to all of you for your help :) As for the food, my son said: "incredible, as usual." 5 million star experience every time! The meat and 3 concept is a dying art that they have mastered.

Chef's Market Cafe & Takeaway is one of those places that's easy to love and easy to come back to…read more The cafeteria-style setup makes it quick and approachable, but the food is where it really shines. Portions are generous, everything feels fresh and comforting, and it's consistently done well. We've eaten here in person and grabbed it to go on busy nights, and it holds up every time. Our personal favorites are the chicken, pot roast, and meatloaf, all hearty, flavorful, and exactly what you want when you're craving a solid comfort meal. One of the things I love most about this place is that it truly feels like "come as you are." There's no single type of crowd here. You'll see families, business meetings, date nights, people dressed up, people dressed casually, groups of two, groups of four, and even three generations sitting together. It works before or after church, after school, after soccer games, or after work. No judgment, no pressure, just people showing up for great food and a great environment. What really stands out is how respectful and welcoming everyone is. Whether it's a toddler learning to eat, someone needing a little extra space, or a busy group navigating a crowded moment, people are patient, kind, and considerate of one another. The staff and guests alike create an atmosphere that genuinely embodies Southern hospitality. What also makes this place special is how much thought has gone into the overall experience. While you're waiting in line, there are fun and unique extras to browse like recipe books, aprons, and thoughtful items for kids. Nothing feels like filler. It all adds to how warm and homey the space feels for locals and visitors alike. And then there's the dessert area, which deserves its own mention. There's an entire cake station behind a large glass case filled with massive, handmade-from-scratch cakes. You can grab slices, order whole cakes in advance, and even place special holiday dessert orders. It's decadent, impressive, and very hard to walk past without stopping. Even when it's incredibly busy, the team is friendly, efficient, and well organized. Whether dining inside, outside, or picking up food to go, the experience is always smooth and welcoming. Included are a few photos from the first time we ate there in person outside, though we've been back many times since. Shown here are the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy and a roll and the roasted chicken with green beans and rosemary roasted potatoes for reference.

But so many other reviews were positive and my hubby was dying for a burger. Our server was ?Maples? She was kind, fast and brought drink refills with perfect timing, even though she had multiple tables, including a large party of 7 or more. Hubby had the Mojo burger and liked it. My kiddo had a standard burger, she said it was good. Her fries were a little cool. Not cold, but not warm. We also got an order of wings, and loved them. I had thr fried chicken with fried okra and sweet potato fries. The fries were meh, but the okra and chicken were excellent. I would definitely recommend the fried chicken! Written reviews matched our secondary experiences. The service was disjointed, and uncoordinated, and the food, should have never been brought to the table. But the claims of, "Under New Management", offered some hope of reviving the standards that had previously earned their namesakes, reputation and growth. This morning's breakfast experience was an astounding disappointment. Greeted and seated by cordial, pleasant staff, we were a party of 3, occupying only the second table, at 9:15 AM. (That emptiness itself should have been a hint of what was to come.) It took much longer than expected just to get coffee and water. Still longer, to place an order, and nearly half-an-hour for the actual meal service. The quality of the food, was nothing short of astonishingly poor. Most notably, cold. Considering there were only two tables occupied in the entire dining room, the cold servings were the first indication of coordination, communications, process, and standards shortfalls. The food preparation showed the skillsets of a 12 year-old, trying to mimic Mom's kitchen routine. How can a restaurant cook not do toast? It was white bread, with a slightly stiff outer layer. Most people would describe it as, "stale bread"; not toast. The pancakes served with the "Lieper's Fork Favorite", were beyond belief. Three hard little discs, served cold, with chilled hard pats of butter, and NO syrup. I actually demonstrated to the very nice server, that the pancakes could NOT be cut with a fork. Again - could NOT be cut with a fork! Come on... They're PANCAKES! Not a single bite could be sampled, without the utility of a knife. I am not a small person. I tried three places around the brown discs to acquire a bite. Țhe effort was foreboding enough. Ì surrendered. The scrambled eggs and bacon were edible, though lacking temperature, and uncaring presentation. When the server saw that the pancakes were as fork resistant as a Frisbee, she took the plate to the kitchen manager. He was a nice, apologetic young man, who acknowledged that the pancakes were "Overcooked on one side..." He did offer to make more. I declined. I told him I sincerely appreciated his offer. But the issue was much deeper, than plastic pancakes. As indicated by the lack of clientele in a fairly large restaurant, there was a blinding flash of the obvious. They were squandering the owner's investment. The kitchen staff lacked the skillsets to produce the simplest traditional American Breakfast - and - the wisdom to refrain from placing it up for service. The plating looked SO incredibly bad, that it was obvious that both standards and personal pride were totally absent. The staff was nice. Ignorance is curable. Training, processes, and well established standards can develop nice people into effective business associates. It's not their fault. They have NO leadership directions. The owners have let them down. Țhose owners have had ample signals and time to cure these maladies. They have a model, in their other facilities - that's how / why they opened more than one restaurant. But those owners are apparently oblivious to the signals of absentee management, process inconsistency, and the gross lack of product standards, leading to failure. To those nice people working at Puckett's, I have a sincere recommendation. The best time to find a job, is when you already have one. Your current employer is going to fail; sooner rather than later. They will surely continue with their communications shortfalls. They will not tell you in advance. They will simply let you go when they finally lock the doors. Take care of yourself. FInd an employer who has a distinct business survival plan. Such plans, include coordination, process leadership, training, and holding a team accountable to perform to the standards they were trained to. You're not getting that.

I'm so happy to say the old Cracker Barrel is BACK!…read more I've been going to Cracker Barrel my whole life- it's always been one of my favorite restaurants. During COVID, like a lot of places, the service and consistency just weren't the same, so I stopped going as often. But over the past 6-12 months, I've started coming back more regularly, and wow- what a difference. Every visit has been consistent, the food comes out quickly, and everything is delicious. But what really stands out is the service. Debi and Lindsay are absolutely amazing. We always ask for Debi because she's so kind, quick, and just someone you genuinely enjoy interacting with. As for Lindsay- my 3-year-old daughter spilled her milk all over the floor, and even though she wasn't our server, she immediately stepped in. She got down on the floor, cleaned up the mess, and even helped clean up my daughter. She was incredibly kind! That level of care and attentiveness is rare and so appreciated. The customer service here is truly top-notch. This is only my second time ever leaving a Yelp review, but I had to for this location. They are awesome!

When the server brought our beverages she took our order. I got the Old Timer's and my boyfriend got the cod. Then the wait began... it took approximately 30-35 minutes for our food to arrive. Which by my experience is unusually long as every other Cracker Barrel I've gone to the food is out in 15 minutes or less. Plus, by this time we had already nearly finished our drinks, and the server never offered us refills. When our meals arrived the cod was soggy, and actually tasted like catfish(which according to the manager has been a recent complaint by other customers.). My hashbrown casserole tasted off with bitter and stale undertones. The "crispy" potatoes atop this side dish were cold and chewy. When the server came to check on us we told her about the cod, and ordered a cheeseburger instead. Another wait of about 25 minutes(and still no refills). I happen to look towards the kitchen to see our server poking her head around the corner then quickly duck back into the kitchen. A few minutes later she brought us a fully loaded cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, and pickles. We ordered the burger with pickles and onions only. At least we got the pickles... To add insult to injury the check arrives and to our surprise she charged us for both the cod and the cheeseburger. My boyfriend never ate the cod. At this point we asked for the manager. The manager looked like he should have been dressed in a yellow slicker, standing top side, throwing crab pods into the Berring Sea. As he walked up he annoyingly asked how he could help us. So I explained the cod issue to which he started arguing with us. Nevermind the fact it tasted, smelled, and looked like catfish, but that it was soggy and greasy was unacceptable. Finally we relented and said we'll just pay for both because we had been there too long and just wanted to leave. The manager then said he'll take off the cod, took our plates, and walked away... He never came back. We waited about another 10-15 minutes then just left with the original check and paid $55 for the worst Cracker Barrel meal I've ever had. If you come across this place on Long Hollow Pike and 65 I highly recommend you keep driving.
