I have been a loyal patron of Caspian Auto Care for years, since before Brian & Lynette bought the business. I was nervous when the previous owners sold (an honest, reliable mechanic is so hard to find), but they have proven themselves by taking excellent care of me and my car (and my husband's car, and my best friend's cars...). Yesterday evening my check engine light came on. This morning I was waiting for them when they opened the shop. By lunchtime my problem had been diagnosed, the part needed obtained and installed, plus my oil changed. Total price, $236. Less than I was expecting once seeing the dreaded check engine light! They always let me know of approaching scheduled maintenance or predictable repairs and how much I should expect to budget for them. Lynette works hard to get the price as low as she possibly can without sacrificing quality. I have found them to be completely honest and trustworthy. I'm so grateful to have a mechanic I know I can rely on. I can't recommend them more highly! read more

I called to get some info and it was the most condescending conversation I've had in a long time. "We are not like a dentist office...." Get some manners and learn the value of customer service. I've taken my car to now Caspian Automotive and have been very satisified. Mack was very fair and honest and was able to turn the car around quickly to help my car pass smog. Would highly recommend this shop. read more

We have been using Caspian Auto Care for 1 year for our Saturn Vue and Acura TL. Lynette is very professional and helpful. They have honored a warranty issue and replaced the parts. I feel that i can trust their work and their recommendations for repairs. When they state they will complete the work by the end of the day, even if it goes beyond there normal working hours, they honor that commitment ( as i experienced by picking up my car at 7 pm on a Saturday). Great place and super nice people. Had our Jeep's transmission maintenance done there and they did a great and thorough job. Most recently we took our Ford F-150 there just for an oil change and they were nice enough to allow us to bring in our own oil filter. We did use the synthetic oil they had on hand but they would have allowed us to bring that too. Charged only $20 in labor for the oil change and had the truck done within an hour...and we didn't even have an appointment time. Highly recommend Caspian for your car care needs! read more

6 STARS !! ... my review is long overdue. I brought my car in their for an AC charge last summer and they were awesome. The Dealer wanted to charge me a $180 dollars just the open the hood ... Yeah Right ... I think they saw this girl coming a long ways away, they didn't know my dad was a mechanic , and I know how cars work ... Anyways I fully recommend this lovely couple who owns and run the business. They trouble shooted my repairs for free and gave me a great cost on repairs. The car is awesome. And he told me to watch out for my radiator because it had a pin hole leek. Not to worry about, and to watch. It's been fine and no worries. I will recommend them to anyone. read more

He once even talked me out of a cosmetic repair, suggesting that if we wait a little while for him to find another source, the job could be done for substantially less money. Thank you Yelp for helping me find Caspian Auto Care! I took my Camry in for a strange noise I only hear when I reach 60 mph. It turned out not being my car but the freeway that was being resurfaced on my commute to work. He does free brake inspection and he told me mine were fine. Mack did want to talk about the ABS light that was on. I told him that it came on when I had my suspension worked on. His eyes popped out when I explained that the shop who broke the ABS sensor wanted to charge me for the part. I ended up just taking my car the way it was and drove it for years. Mack replaced the broken sensor and test drove my vehicle on the freeway (no noise using a different freeway). When he had my car he called me to give me an update about the non noise issue, and to get permission to fix the ABS. I'm happy now that I know my car is safe to drive, AND I know where I can take my car to get honest, skilled work and good customer service. read more

I am 100% satisfied with their service. They are professional, honest, and freindly but the bottom line is they fixed my problem and saving me $1,500 from going to my Benz dealler. When I took my Benz to the dealer last time to fix my air conditining system, they said I need to replace all these parts and will cost me $1,850 plus a bunch of other diagnotics problem which will cost me another $1,500. I ended up leaving withour fixing the air cond but spent $800 fixing other safety problem. However, going to Caspian they will try to save you money by reparing and not replacing the whole part. They are very thorough in explaining to you in details for the problem and the estimated cost without hiding. I just felt that they are very trustful. Definitely will send my Acura and BMW for service in the future. Why go to the dealer if you can have better service and cheaper cost. read more

I was comparing places to have some major work done on my car. Caspian beat all prices and even gave me a rental car. The manager called me several times and the work was done in a timely fashion. They went beyond the call of duty to help me. The price was what was quoted and I actually had same day service. I'm very pleased with Caspian Auto Care. Found it on Yelp, then talked with them in person late on 6/29 about doing a wheel alignment. They quoted me less than others in the area (Big O, Wheel Works, etc.). The next day I took my 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan there and came away very satisfied. They had adjusted the toe-in & toe-out, and got the steering wheel straight. They explained that not all of the normal adjustments could be made because the caster & camber are set at the factory and are not adjustable. This was not news to me, since I put 140,000 of the 170,000 miles on this van. I've had a few wheel alignments done in that time, and have always been told that these couple adjustments are factory set and cannot be changed, even though after years of having various services performed, the caster & camber no longer meet specifications. Caspian Auto Care explained that kits should be available to replace the non-adjustable parts. They had called around, but none were available from local parts suppliers. They said if I get the kits myself, I can bring them in and they'll do the complete alignment. I appreciated the thorough explanation and the effort they had put into trying to get my car into proper specification. I was ready to pay what they had quoted; as I said, it was less than what others had quoted for doing the exact same service. I was then very surprised to have them charge me significantly less than what they had quoted. They felt the job was not complete and they refused to take full payment. read more

I had just purchased what I thought was a reliable 2002 328i BMW. I hadn't had it for two months when the fuel pump went out. Being relatively new to the San Ramon, Dublin, Pleasanton area I had no idea where to take it. Initially I was going to take it to the dealership, but to my surprise the reviews were terrible. I needed someone who I could trust as I knew the repairs would not be cheap. I asked my insurance company for referrals and they gave me about 4 suggestions. I reasearched all 4 of them on Yelp reviews and Caspian came out on top. I had no choice but to trust that the reviews were accurate. To my delight they were right on! The customer service was outstanding!! Having car problems could not have come at a more worse time for me financially. My credit car was maxed, my savings was empty and I wasn't due to get paid for another two weeks. Lynnette and Brian were wonderful!! They were very understanding of my situation and did not pressure me to get my car out at all. Brian completed the repairs and patiently held onto my car until I had the funds! Two weeks later, much longer than even I expected I picked up my car with initial repairs complete and then some. Brian even took the initiative to repair my rear tail light that had gone out. I couldn't have been more satisfied or pleased. They were truly a blessing! I didn't get to meet Brian but Lynnette was just as friendly, pleasant and professional as everyone had said. She even gave me notice of repairs to be aware of in the near future so it wouldn't come to me as a surprise. She was amazing! They will definitely get my business again, and again and again!! read more
