What a fabulous find. Thanks to yelp for bringing me here. After a long drive up from san diego .. stopped by here for a couple Desi sandwiches to visit family in the hospital. The bagels were delicious ... just the right amount of chew and wonderful flavors. Thick layer of jalapeño cream cheese, generous avocado, bacon, and egg white. Small dining area on the inside, additional dine-in seating outside. But what makes this location stand out is that local-neighborhood vibe. It feels very "East Long Beach" and their wall decoration only cements that vibe. It's also very bustling at the time that we went--steady line, and busy working trying to churn out the orders...there's that "we're doing this as fast as we can" vibe, but also, just be patient with them because it does get busy (at least on the morning that went). There Lox Sandwich is good. I wanted it on a garlic bagel but they ran out so I had it on a onion bagel instead. It was delicious. Maybe pricey? I phrase it as a question because things are just "normally" expensive these days so I don't know if I'm just being unreasonable about it. But it's definitely over $10 for a sandwich (granted it is smoked salmon). The other bagel sandwiches cost a bit less and delicious as well. They also have latte drinks that are ok. Full disclaimer: our family has been fans of Cassidy's Corner Cafe for several years now. Their Joe's Special has been a mainstay breakfast choice for my teen since way before he was able to finish one by himself. We were excited when we saw that one would be opening *even closer* to our home. Of all of the locations, this one has definitely been my favorite so far. Super friendly, very quick service -- we had our food in less than ten minutes, despite it being busy. There's pretty good seating inside, plenty of seating outdoors, and a cute little cozy area with armchairs which I felt added to the community-oriented vibe this brand is known for. They totally nailed the Joe's Special - the jalapeno cream cheese had the perfect bite to it. The bagel was perfectly toasted on the outside and chewy on the inside. My teen was super pleased and pretty much inhaled it. The bagel bombz were a little cooler than anticipated but were delicious. Normally I don't go for the coffee anymore because of the price tag (I know it's pricey to make nowadays but $7 for a large iced coffee makes my wallet hurt), but I splurged today and felt like it was worth the hype...just probably best to not get addicted. I split an everything bagel and red velvet bagel with my boyfriend and the bagels did not taste as fresh as other Cassidy's that I've been to. Also, they don't put as much cream cheese as other Cassidy's locations. The bagels were still tasty though. I loved getting the Desi on my way to work! With a whole wheat bagel. So fresh and delicious. I love bagel sandwiches in the morning and this place doesn't disappoint. Pretty affordable and they have some good iced coffee can't complain. They have a nice selection of bagels and cream cheeses. The staff were always so friendly. Went to their newly open location on spring st. I enjoyed all the items we got. The staff were busy and friendly. Usually a new opened place can seem disorganized and not service is not good. But this was not the case. The worker recommended some items and they were all good. Clean place and great location with nice out outdoor patio area. This place will be very popular I can tell and popular fast! I'm happy they opened here since I'm just a short walk away. The closet bagel I can get to a New York Bagel in Long Beach. I'm happy they exist! The workers are friendly, the coffee quality is excellent and their bagels are very good. There's not many tables to sit at and you do wait a bit for your order because they are so popular. Just be prepared. I came here for the first time today. I didn't really have expectations but I was very impressed. The 2 staff members were extremely sweet and attentive. They gave us so many recommendations and let us sample the nitro coffee and WOW was I impressed! I got the jalapeño desi and I was very good and super filling! The bagels r huge and they do not skimp on the toppings. I will definitely be back for the nitro coffee and to try the bagel bombs! I'm hooked! I read a recent review saying they keep the restroom door open. I did not witness that. And the review also say Bagel is too thick. OMG, seriously? Some people don't know a NY bagel which is boiled with a shiny crust and a bit of hardness. My Parmesan bagel was large, dense, so flavorful. Went here with friends for breakfast on 4/12 around 8am. A few of us got variations of the everything bagels (as a regular size bagel and bagel bombz) and they were super salty almost like when a salt shaker loses its top and all the salt spills out. I thought it was just me but literally all the bagel bombz I got were salty and uneatable and I even had my friends try it to and they had the same reaction. Another friend that got the normal size also agreed it was salty and left her mouth very dry. With the amount that was eaten me and my friend experienced stomach pain for the rest of the morning. It looked amazing but when i got home to eat it, the garlic bagel was definitely overcooked. At first it looked okay but as I bit into it, I got an overwhelming garlic burnt taste in my mouth. I tried to take off some of the burnt garlic but I soon realized that the bottom was also burnt and it honestly was so hard to mask that taste. I got the... can't remember the name... but it was a pastrami egg and cream cheese bagel on an Asiago bagel... the pastrami was GOOOD quality (no lie)... the eggs were good... it was good... Now that I've had it once... next time it will be better and here's why (only because of personal preference)... the bagel was barely toasted... like it wasn't even brown... so next time I will ask for it to be extra toasty... it also seems like (I could be wrong) they put butter on the bagel, which I am not a fan of... so next time I will ask for no butter... I never thought I would be daydreaming of a bagel sandwich, but here I am daydreaming about the Mad Joe sandwich lol. I stopped by a couple weeks ago with my husband and the owner Seth recommended the Mad Joe and so glad we got it. It's a cross between their Joe Special and Maddie Special. It comes with freshly smoked pastrami and you can only get it at this location from Big Brian's Meats, a local pitmaster. It also comes with bacon, eggs, cheddar, Swiss cheese, & jalapeno cream cheese. I got it on a jalapeno bagel and it complimented it well. I also got their Studebaker which is a chicken salad sandwich & it comes with avocado, tomatoes, sprouts, & lettuce. It was tasty, but would have loved some onions in it. I also got a Matcha latte and my husband got an Orange Creamsicle. Both tasted great and would get again. The bagels here are fresh, soft, and so good. I haven't tasted bagels like these before & if there are other great bagel spots like Cassidy's, then let me know... I am happy they just opened up a location closer to me in Eastvale, but will still make the drive to get the Mad Joe Special in Long Beach!
