I love the Joe's Special a lot. I've had it at other locations and the cafe at LBX did not disappoint. If you want a satiating, but not too heavy breakfast, I suggest ordering Joe's Special ($9.25). It's a breakfast bagel with bacon, egg, cheese with jalapeño cream cheese, and lemon pepper. The lemon pepper seasoning is always a welcomed surprise each time I taste it. The bagels at Cassidy's are distinctly their own. They're big, soft, and doughy. I especially like the fact that they're soft and easy to eat even after they've been toasted. I love Cassidy's Corner but this specific location sucks. I ordered a Desi bagel and two 4-2-1 coffees. The workers already seemed behind on orders which I was trying to empathize with while waiting in line to order. However, I ended up waiting 15 mins(!!) and my frickin bagel was still not ready and I noticed people who ordered way after me getting their bagels. I went up to the counter and followed up with my order and they were unable to find my receipt on the counter - mind you, they give devices that vibrate when your order is ready yet mine never vibrated! Where the heck did my receipt go?! I understand it's busy but they never even addressed what could've happened to my receipt at all, they just made me recite what I ordered to them. They did not apologize for losing my receipt or that I was waiting for so long. Also they really need to be more organized because customers would just come up to the counter and snatch orders not even knowing if its theirs. I've never had a bad experience at any other locations but this one. At this point, I waited a good 25 mins for a bagel that wasn't even flavorful and it was soggy. I was expecting them to compensate for my wasted time, maybe offering a large coffee but the two regular sized lattes I ordered weren't even filled up all the way either! Never going back to this location ever again. Y'all gotta train your employees on how to de-escalate situations like this during a rush rather than being passive and not acknowledging customers' concerns. *****Latte review***** I saw a sign on the counter saying their Horchata latte was back, so decided on that one. It wasn't bad - it just wasn't a horchata latte. Located inside the Hangar at Long Beach Exchange. This is one of the spots inside that opens early before all the other places. They have a good selection of bagels and bagel sandwiches. I love the Cassidy's on Atlantic in Bixby. I go there very frequently... I was at LBX today so I decided to grab my 8oz veggie cream cheese refill while here at this location. Big mistake.. first off, it wasn't mixed well. It was basically half plain.. which whatever. But the recipe is completely different than the other Cassidy's. This one didn't taste like veggie, it tasted like some kind of odd, sour chili pepper cream cheese? It was just gross. So now I have to throw away 8oz of CC. I've been to this location a few times. Not my favorite Cassidy's around but also not to the worst. Staff are nice and friendly. Located in the Hanger at LBX gives you choices if someone doesn't want a bagel. Be aware it can get busy, especially on the weekends and holidays. Parking can also be a struggle but there are lots all around. The struggle here for me is consistency. Sometimes my orders are great and perfect and sometimes there is a mix up. I've had barely any cream cheese when I ordered extra, and it once got a bagel with nothing on it when a sandwich was ordered. I landed at LBC airport at 7:55 am on a chilly Friday morning, picked up my rental, and needed a quick breakfast and coffee to-go for my friend that I was visiting. She is a local and recommended this place which was just a few minutes from the airport. I arrived and ordered our breakfast bagel sandwiches and coffee and they were prepared really fast. I decided to splurge and had an iced lavender oat milk latte and my gosh I felt like a million bucks! I hadn't slept well the night before and had a long day ahead of me. We ate the bagel sandwiches a few hours later and reheated them in a toaster oven. They were the biggest I have ever seen but my gosh was it scrumptious! Stopped into the LBX hanger for a quick caffeine fix and was pleasantly satisfied with their coffee. I like how they had samples at the counter to try their specialty to help you make your decision. Incredibly unorganized and clearly no one in charge. Orders were backed up. Counter staff had no idea what they were doing. I ordered one thing. A single large black coffee. Why advertise cream cheese if you're just going to serve plain bread with jam? This isn't the first time it's happened, but I'm honestly over it now. We ordered two plain bagels with plain cream cheese and strawberry jam, and once again... barely any cream cheese. Before I even pulled the slices apart, I could tell. And sure enough, when I opened it up, it was exactly what I thought, basically just bread with jam. All we could taste was the jam, no balance at all. A bagel with cream cheese shouldn't feel like a guessing game. The bagels themselves are actually good, which is why we've kept coming back, but this keeps happening. I wanted him to get some protein in him so we also got the Joe's special w/ Avocado on Asiago bagel (the cashier recommended the Asiago). It was pretty good but the bagels are really thick here. lol! So watch those calories if you're on a diet. Or share with someone. The OJ is fresh! Pretty tart but at least it's fresh. Great location! Smells good! Looks clean. "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on ME". I don't know why I came back to this location since my last review? But after my recent visit, this will definitely be my last. Normally I order a Joe's special because I split with my husband since he can't have bacon. This time around, I ordered for myself and got the Desi which is similar to Joe's but has egg whites and bacon instead. I took my sandwich home and ate a few bites and found it to be unpalatable. The texture of the egg whites was funky and the bacon tasted weird. Also, it looked like they smeared cream cheese on one side of the bagel because when I opened up the sandwich, one side of the bagel didn't have cream cheese which explained why the sandwich tasted dry. Annnd the sandwich calls for jalapeño cream cheese and I tasted plain cream cheese. It was just a sloppy mess and it seemed to me that whoever made my sandwich was just being lazy. What I am suggesting to the owner and management at Cassidy's LBX is to perhaps train staff better and be consistent when making your sandwiches. It's disheartening that this isn't the first time I've had a negative experience at this particular location. Every time I stop by here for coffee out of convenience, I always wished I had gone to their Bixby Knolls location instead. Drinks here are not as good and the service can be pretty lacking. Last time, it seemed the baristas completely forgot I had ordered something and were just chilling/dancing around. So I feel like the last few visits that were made to Cassidys have been lackluster. This mornings visit, I was completely turned off, by what I witnessed. One of the servers who came from the back area, was wiping their eyes, didn't wash their hands and started prepping someone's coffee! Gross!! Then she started preparing my bagel but she applied gloves. I mean I'm no health inspector, but she might have broken a rule with not washing her hands before making anything for any customers. A pizza bagel for nearly $14!!! A BAGEL!! You can get a whole cheese pizza for less than $14. Geez Louise. WHO DECIDES ON PRICING here? ONE star for a low grade bagel joint that sells bagels by the dozen for a whopping $25. I'm from NY and I know bagels. A dozen bagels should be around $15-$18. For $25, they're not worth that price. TWO stars for coffee, bagel combo. As a NY'er, I just miss a coffee and a bagel. So that additional star is really just for nostalgia reasons. C- Recommendation. You can't miss Cassidy's Corner Cafe when walking into The Hangar because it's literally right in front of you. I heard of Cassidy's Corner Cafe from a friend so I was really interested in trying it! There's tons of options on the menu, and there's tons of bagel options to choose from! I got Joe's Special with a Plain Bagel, and my sister got Cassidy's Club with a Parmesan Bagel and an Iced Matcha Latte. The Joe's Special was pretty good, however the Cassidy's Club was a bit dry, perhaps it needed more dijon mustard or some cream cheese. There was also a sad amount of avocado so that sucks. The Iced Matcha Latte isn't good, it tastes like a hint of matcha powder with whole milk and vanilla syrup. It's not like they're known for their Iced Matcha Lattes so you can't expect much. The employees were very nice and helpful! They told us that the Cassidy's Club was way bigger than the Joe's Special, and they were not wrong. I can't really agree with the "Best Bagels in Town" slogan because I don't really have anything to compare these bagels to. However, the portions you get are pretty good for the price! read more

Yikes. My first visit at this location, the guy gave me the wrong drink, and when I corrected him, he gave me another wrong drink, with a side of attitude. Maybe it was an off morning. Second visit... they weren't even open. Hours say they open at 6AM, and I was in the area dropping someone off at the airport nearby. I stopped by around 6:10AM. Wasn't open. I understand it's early so whoever was opening may be late. Stuck around for about 15 minutes to see if someone would be opening, but nobody came. I sent a DM on instagram asking if they could confirm the hours because I was there and it wasn't open... I was left on read. Super disappointed. I love the original location on Del Amo, and I've been to that one several times; I am obsessed with the bagel bombs and passion 4-2-1. LBX is much closer to me but I guess I'll just have to start driving a little further to their Del Amo location because this one is the worst. read more

Monday morning around 9:15, I ordered a "Cronut" with egg, bacon, and cheese. I asked for a croissant instead of the cronut which is too sweet. While ordering, the cashier kept asking me to repeat what I was saying, which I did. I thought maybe it was too noisy for her behind the counter. After I went back to my car, I opened the pkg and saw a cronut sandwich. It was sticky, goopy, sugary and looked like it would fall apart, which it did when I picked it up to take a bite. All over my sweatshirt. I would have taken it back but I had recently had foot surgery and it was too much to walk again to the Hangar and I had another errand to run. I finished the sandwich because I was hungry, but the high sugar content knocked my blood sugar way up. Please train your workers better. Perhaps have them repeat the order to the customer. Also, whomever made the sandwich needs more training. It was a mess. read more

Best bagels around. Make sure you ask for double toasted or it doesn't come out much toasted at all. Their other locations are a bit better than this place bc I don't think they make their bagels fresh at this location. They're still fresh though. This location has wine here!!!! And mimosas. So that's a plus. I think I like the other two locations by the 605 and off Atlantic because their bagels are fresher there and there is consistency between how much cream cheese is put on the bagels at those locations. It's a little inconsistent here. I know they just opened another location up on Spring also. I think they're doing great but hopefully the managers concentrate on making each place consistent with each other. read more

Cassidy's corner has been on my places to try list for a while now and I finally got the chance at the hangar in LB! Overall I thought their bagels are decent and extremely soft. They don't have the typical chewy texture as a bagel and its more like a bread. I can see why people enjoy them so much but I personally would much rather have a 'normal' texture of a bagel. I got the Joe's special that comes with jalapeño cream cheese, egg, and bacon. I never really had cream cheese in a breakfast sandwich but it tasted well together, especially with the addition of jalapeños and lemon pepper. The sandwich was close to $10 and was a pretty big/decent size. The staff was very friendly and helpful when I was contemplating on what to get and they were quick with my order as well.
