    Missing cheese priced at $1.25
    Steff D.

I've visited this location 3 times total. The first time everything was good, decent amount of food and today was HORRIBLE. Ordered a few bagels spend over 30$ to get home (15 miles away)and my surprise my bagel must've been made with hate because ain't no way. To top it off I paid for cream cheese and they didn't include it in my order. Do not recommend.

I was looking for the real German chewy Bagels for a while. I always passed this café for years and finally stopped by checking the bagels this morning. I saw the good Yelp reviews last time about this location on Spring St, LB. I expected more choices of selections for bagels displayed on the wall. They had only limited flavors. No blueberries...Oh! No!!! I found seasonal pumpkin bagels and red velvet thou. I got lucky. Love love pumpkin spice for breads and coffees during the Thanksgiving. The bagel size is about 6 inches. Big...big! Price is $2.50, only pumpkin is $2.75 and one dozen is $25. Their menu includes hot, cold sandwiches. I will try the hot bagel sandwich next time. The ambiance is like other bagel café. Not fancy but cozy. The parking is enough, including ev charging spots. I tried the half pumpkin bagel in the car on the way back home. Soooo good! Today I finally got the real bagels. Hopefully they can make blueberries next time. Recommend strongly. Happy w bagels.

Yum, fantastic place for coffee and bagels. Great parking lot, they have inside and outside seating and there are plenty. Very clean, bright, spacious and chill vibe here. Light decor but very effective since they have a big displace of all their favor bagels on the wall...yum! Their bagels size are big and fantastic tasty, chewy and tasty. I got the bagel with cream cheese, so so good. Coffee is fantastic too. Service is attentive and friendly. Great group of staff there.

    Our choices.

My wife found again the best of best Bagel Cafe in LB. We already had taco Friday brunch near the Y and stopped by this location. Wow!!! They displayed lots of bagels on the wall. We can buy very limited flavors today. Plain, egg, red velvet, Pumpkins, onions, asiago, cranberry, and small bagel bombs. We chose 2 pumpkins, plain, cranberry, and asiago. Their bagels are so big about 6 inches. In general, most of bagels are small. My wife loves pumpkin flavors for the coffee, pies, breads. She was so happy finding her fave flavors. Bagels are $2.50, dozen is $25. Special seasonal pumpkins are $2.75. I can't wait to taste my choice of bagels. Haha....love love bagels. Parking: private, enough spots, ev charging. Ambiance: bagels Cafe, not too fancy. Price: bagels for $2.50, sandwiches for $10 to $15. Great place for the real bagels.

Asiago Bagel Bombs - incredible, no lack of cream cheese.

I have always enjoyed this place. Staff is always friendly and for how busy they get, they are always movin' and groovin'. The space is small but they've got seating on the inside and tables outside, enough room for everyone, if you wanted to enjoy your food at the shop. I've had some different breakfast bagel sandwiches prior, The Joes Special and The Mad Joe, both I'd recommend. The bagel bombs are something not to skip, they are great, and don't have a shortage of cream cheese. They do sell out pretty quick, for good reason. The reason I write this review is not only because I enjoy this bagel shop but this trip, I decided to try something new. The Studebaker Sandwich, absolutely incredible. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Perfect amount of crunch, to veggie, to chicken, to bagel. After every bite I said "this is so good" because it really was that good. I am counting down the days to my next Studebaker Sandwich. To whoever made this sandwich and the chicken salad today, I hope you have the best day. Everyone has to try this sandwich, chicken salad is easy to mess up and Cassidy's Corner really nailed it.

Bagel with tomato and cream cheese

Friendly and helpful staff, easy to order. Ordered lattes, everything bagel with cream cheese, and an onion bagel with tomato and cream cheese. The bagels were cushiony and yummy. The lattes were okay, we like ours strong; it's about personal preference. Great indoor and outdoor seating area. Adequate parking in a plaza. Nearby EVGo charging stations, so you can charge your car and enjoy breakfast or lunch while you wait.

Cassidy's Corner is a small Bagel Chain. I have been to all of them. The OG on Del Amo was my regular stop on the way to work. It's where I first had Bagel Bombs and I would bring them for my staff (amazing if you haven't tried them). Then I started frequenting the Bixby Knoll's location. Both of these locations are much bigger and busier than this one and the LBX Hangar location. This location on Spring, although smaller, has a good selection of bagels but some are only available Fri-Sun (well displayed on their menu), probably when they have more business. There are several tables inside and outside should you want to dine in. The LBX location, although many tables inside and outside at the Hangar, early morning it's getting cleaned and no place to sit inside! That's on the Hangar, not Cassidy's! Bagels are always fresh here and very nice staff! Coffee drinks are prepared consistently. Today I had a toasted sesame bagel with cream cheese and a hot Chai Tea Latte. I was very happy they were open (it was just after 6am)! I did choose to take it to go vs dine in. They have a new system of giving you pagers to alert you when you order is ready. When it's busy, great idea. I did have a good chuckle later as I was the only one there! Definitely a good system vs yelling out someone's order or name! People do pick up others orders accidentally so in the long run agree with this upgrade.

Sausage, egg, and cheese bagel (Parmesan bagel, plain cream cheese, cheddar) Grill chicken ranch (garlic bagel)
    Ivy D.

Super tasty bagels in a clean, cozy spot with comfortable couches. The remaining bagel selection is displayed at the front counter, so you can easily see what's left for the day. We came in near closing, so the Asiago bagel was already gone. We had the sausage, egg, and cheese on a Parmesan bagel with plain cream cheese and cheddar, as well as the grilled chicken ranch on a garlic bagel. The lettuce on the grilled chicken sandwich was the leafy part and a bit bitter, though the ranch helped balance it out. The garlic bagel had a slightly charred flavor,, next time I might get it untoasted. A bit on the pricier side, but worth checking out if you're in the area!

Maddy sandwich on cranberry bagel Pastrami Swiss cheese pickle with Dijon mustard
    Randy O.

I've always liked going to Cassidy's Corner Cafe it's nice, clean service is always friendly! Today I'm having a Maddy's sandwich which is a pastrami on cranberry bagel/my choice, with Swiss cheese, Dijon mustard and a pickle. I'm washing it down with their Nitro Cold Brew with of course my favorite flavor Hazelnut syrup! The fact that it's right near my house is convenient, but the food is why I come here again! Great tasting and friendly service! Stop by one of their locations in Long Beach or Lakewood!

My new hyperfixation! Whether you're looking for a bagel with avocado, an egg sandwich, or more of a purist vibe, Cassidy's does it all. Their blended mocha is actual perfection. That is saying a lot coming from a self-proclaimed blended mocha aficionado. I no longer have to brave multiple establishments for the perfect breakfast. Cassidy's has everything I need in one place. The staff is friendly, the interior has a cute aesthetic, and they even have a high chair. Also bonus points for vegan cream cheese!!!

    Asiago bagel
    Jesse A.

I have been coming to Cassidy's a few times already and always had a good experience. The Asiago bagels are amazing, toasted perfectly and really feel homemade. The cream cheese in my opinion is enough despite what others might say. The 4.2.1 coffee was surprisingly pretty good and I'm not a coffee person. Unfortunately indoor seating is lacking so just be ready to have it togo or outside if that's your thing.

I should have known it was going to be an unlucky experience based on my pick up number. Finally decided to try this place after having someone share bagel bombs with me. I was really looking forward to it. Food: The bagels were light and fluffy, but not as well toasted as I typically like (i.e. crunchy when you bite into the bagel like the usual I get at our neighborhood favorite Grounds). Ambience: nice cafe vibe with indie music in the background. The area is clean and brightly lit with tables inside and outside. Service: this is where work is needed. I ordered a passion tea. A drink was placed on the counter at the same time as my pager. I assumed it was mine. The server said nothing. As I took a sip, I thought it was a very muddy iced tea. The server then said "You took her iced coffee!" pointing to a lady sitting down. "I can't take it back now because you already sipped it," she said acting annoyed. Even worse, she never gave me the iced tea I actually ordered. I waited to see if my tea would ever come and it didn't, so I had to ask for it before leaving. As I left with my young son, I smiled and said "Thank you!" to zero reply as 2 workers stood at the counter talking to each other. Summary: I really wanted to love Cassidy's and support another local business, but the poor service will keep me from returning. Sat 10/4 1pm

    GG with poppy bagel

I got the GG with poppy seed bagel. The bagel was burnt on top and the sandwich lacked any seasoning. Barely a touch of avocado and sprouts as well

10/10 please give it a try ‍ Love this place, ran across…read moretheir Instagram and was immediately intrigued, I Had the tiramisu Vietnamese iced coffee, wasnt sure if it would be too strong and not sweet(I have a sweet tooth, I don't like bitter/unsweetened coffee) but it was well balanced (strong but still tasted good). The croffles are so good too.(Now discontinued because they didn't sell well ) Will come back to try their other drinks. Update: My fave is the biscoff coffee, sadly I live very far from here so I can't visit more often I tried the banana coffee, Coconut coffee and cookies and cream ice blend, they're all good, biscoff Vietnamese coffee if my go to though. The lady at the counter is so nice and she let me try the toppings for the Vietnamese coffee when I wasn't sure what I wanted . Service is fast, coffee games about 1-2 minutes to be made. The place is cute, spacious, great for casual meets up or working/studying. Great for loners, couples, small groups, and maybe even bigger groups. They have weekday deals for certain drinks It seems to be empty most of the times I've been there so I'm always sharing their Instagram cause I love this place and want it to do well. they also host little crafting events. They have a little chalkboard sign with schedule and pricing for the events. They also sells cakes and tiramisu and other pastries but I have yet to try them. They also sell little handmade crocheted keychains. They have a bathroom. Parking so far hasn't been to difficult for me. Anyways, try them out

Family owned so that is a point all on its own and they're such a sweet loving family too. I love the brownies and coffee cake and she gave me the corner piece! Padekwa had me in awe!…read more PADEKWA, which means "you are welcome," is one of those hidden gems you could easily drive past without realizing what you're missing. Located off Bellflower Blvd and South Street in Lakewood, this coffee shop is much more than a place to grab a drink. From the moment you walk in, you're surrounded by art, creativity, and community. The space is open and inviting, with plenty of seating, outlets for studying or working, cozy lounge areas, a conference room available to rent, and even a quieter section with books and softer lighting. I ordered the Banana Bread Dirty Chai, a Matcha, and a slice of coffee cake. The Dirty Chai was sweet and flavorful, but the Matcha stole the show. It was smooth, beautifully balanced, and not overly sweet. The coffee cake was equally impressive. Perfectly sweet with a tender crumb, it's the kind of pastry that pairs beautifully with a morning coffee and is sturdy enough for those who like to dip their pastries into their drink. One thing that stood out to me was learning that the pastries are made by the owner's mother, an award-winning pastry chef. Although I didn't try everything, the display case was filled with beautiful pastries that looked fresh, handcrafted, and made with care. What impressed me most was that PADEKWA kept surprising me. Everywhere I looked, there was another detail that revealed this place is about more than coffee. From the artwork and creative spaces to the community events they host, it's clear that connection and creativity are part of the vision. The best part? I left feeling like I had only scratched the surface. It's the kind of place that makes you want to come back, not just for the drinks and pastries, but to learn more about the people and heart behind it. If you're looking for great coffee, creative inspiration, delicious pastries, and a place that truly feels welcoming, PADEKWA is definitely worth a visit.
