We tried the Joe's special on the tomato basil bagel and the Desi on the garlic bagel. Both were absolutely DELICIOUS. The jalapeño cream cheese gave the perfect hint of spicy and lots of flavor. Highly HIGHLY recommend the 421 Nitro coffee. WOW. Smoothness from the nitro meets caramel coffee flavors just right. I'll be ordering that every time! These are the best bagels! I usually go to other locations but this one seems to be my favorite. They are always out of the Asiago but I usually go for plain when it's not available. I do the Joe's special, it is a bit salty (for my liking & it is a preference thing since I don't eat a lot of salt) but I just ask for easy lemon pepper & it's perfect! The staff and service were great. Prices are a little bit higher thank you'd like to spend on coffee but if I have to pay $7 for Starbucks or this I'd take this everyday. The 421 nitro cold brew could be one of the best ready to serve coffee options I've ever had at a shop. The regular coffee was great and the price is pretty solid on it as well if you don't like dressed up coffee drinks. The joes special bagel sandwich is delicious. I think a lot of times places thing you can just slap and egg and bacon on a bagel and call it a sandwich but not here. The spread is so good and Seth recommended on an Asiago bagel which has opened up some new doors for me bagel wise. I just tried the bagel bombs and they were solid. I think you may have to ask for them toasted but I toasted them when I got home and they were delicious. Overall they are very welcoming and the coffee is so solid across the board. One morning, I was in the area and lazy to drive to Los Al so I decided to stop by and try this place. Boy oh boy! This place is amazing!!!! Their bagels are DELICIOUS. (Okay I must admit I always get the same one) I always get a cinnamon sugar with strawberry cream cheese and a Jo's special!! By far my favorite bagel place in Long Beach, I frequently visit this location and the one in Bixby Knolls. The staff is so friendly and kind, and can really make your day better. This was our first time here and pulling up we saw a line which is obviously a good sign. We both ordered the Asiago Desi sandwich and 421 vanilla ice coffee. Sandwich was big and delicious. We could barely finish our sandwiches. The coffee was refreshing and tasteful we had no complaints. The service was good even though it was busy. I was surprised by the affordable price of the bagels, making it a convenient breakfast spot on the way to school. Easy in and out parking (there's an entrance on Los Coyotes and on east bound Spring). Free wifi. Good place to WFH or have a quick coffee meetup. Try the bagel bombs with a Nitro 421 cold brew, although we've had a wide sampling of their food and drinks and have been thrilled with everything we've tried so far. read more

This place rocks, the service first off is fast and friendly. I get the Joes Special on an Everything Bagel and sometimes Nitro Brew or Nitro Brew 4 2 1. Their Nitro Brew is strong but delicious, takes me a few days to drink a large. The 421 brew is light and sweeter easy drinking. Lots of other delicious looking bagels and sandwiches. I always go for breakfast. Bagels are fresh and big. It's very nice inside while eating or waiting. There's 2 large den type leather chairs and table is a small area with a large TV. There's a bar height table looking out the windows and smaller tables inside. Also tables outside on the patio. It's nice being able to be comfortable when wait the few minutes for your meal. It's new in East Long Beach and it's my new place. I've tried most Bagel places and this is my favorite Definitely give them a try, I think there's others stores also. read more

I've been watching the slow progress on this shop with delays upon delays. I knew I'd try it once they finally opened, but wondered how it would fare with a drive thru coffee shop on the NW corner, a neighborhood favorite Local Grind on the NE corner, and what appeared to be a small parking lot. I met a friend there this morning and was happy to see it was packed! We sat outside but weren't crowded by any means. There was a constant stream of customers including 2 large groups of law enforcement. As a first timer, I got the standard fare of an iced drink and bagel and cream cheese, large enough to share with my friend. IF I had to stretch to find a negative thing to share, it would be way too much cream cheese on my everything bagel. What a complaint, huh? Staff was eager, friendly and hardly a wait for our drinks and bagel. I couple say it was a touch pricy but everything is today! Back to parking.....we didn't have any trouble parking and I noted the spaces were super wide (helpful for my parking anxiety) and I had no idea about the parking on the side. Not an issue. Just wow. Not only did Cassidy's fulfill our school needs of feeding 65 kids at 6:30am on a Saturday with dozens of FRESHLY BAKED amazingly good bagels, they did it with such VIP service, that honestly is so hard to find! Coming from the Bay Area, and rallying to get the kids out the door for their Speech and Debate Long Beach tournament, Cassidy's owners hand delivered the bagels to us to help with coordination and avoid Door Dash Fees. They clearly stand for something, because they surprised and delighted our teachers with a half gallon of insanely good vanilla cold coffee on the house! It was enough to energize the teachers through 2 days of tournaments! We ordered 10 smears and 6 or 7 different types of bagels and the kids were SO happy and could not stop raving about how yummy and fresh they were. Even Day 2, these bagels are being consumed and everyone is happy (and asking for more smears they finished yesterday!) :) The owners are so gracious, they politely declined a small tip we had for them. The bagels are indeed the best in town! I got the Joe's special and it was awesome for a bacon egg and cheese! I will definitely be coming back for that! My girlfriend who comes religiously on Sundays says that the parm and cheese bagels are delicious! She brought me and it's without a doubt a place we will coming back to! I strongly suggest that the owners take a deeper dive into the coffee. I was warned that the coffee wasn't great but I thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt. The iced coffee was very bitter, to the point that it was undrinkable. Even trying to drown it in sugar was still not fixing the issue. That would be my gripe. With great tasting coffee, I would expect this place to have a line to the Coffee Bean across the street. Other than that, I will be definitely coming back for bagels! read more
