Elda did a FABULOUS job with my cut and color. That was genuinely the first time I have ever walked out of a salon 100% happy. When I first sat down I told Elda my general goals, concerns, and showed her some inspo photos. Then (in a very kind way) she explained why she didn't think my inspo photos would bring me toward my goals, gave me some alternative options, and told me why the other options would also suit my face shape and skin tone better. She patiently fielded my questions and walked me through what that final result would look like. And... she was absolutely right, it looks AMAZING - What an angel. if you're a girl that's open to feedback, or isn't quite sure what would look best on you, then I would HIGHLY recommend Elda. Thank you Elda!!

Holly does amazing work!!! She listens and asks a lot of questions to make sure that she and I have the same same hair vision. She's a true artist with color, takes her time and does the most fine and beautiful babylights I've ever had. I highly recommend her for both color and meticulous haircuts! The salon itself is beautiful, classy and relaxing. I'm looking forward to my next appointment!

Both my sister and I each got a cut and color there recently and had bad experiences. Everyone there seemed nice enough but when it came to both of our cuts and color, my sister's color and cut looked nothing like the photo she showed me of what she wanted done. I got a dark brown black color and while I really liked the color, a lot of the perimeter of my face was stained pretty badly that it stained into my forehead and I was left with very obvious sideburns stains. It was a little embarrassing. Then when it came to my cut, I showed an actual photo of myself with the cut I was looking for. And when done, it was not was I was looking for. I wanted a cut similar to a previous one I had elsewhere so I knew that my hair could do that. The stylist didn't ask whether I liked my cut afterwards. Just said I was done and was ready to send me on my way. I had to tell the stylist to cut it like the photo and he was reluctant to do so. Both my sister and I are not ones to speak up when unhappy typically, and it was harder to speak for ourselves when your stylist isn't open to hearing it. Needless to say, we both left unhappy which was made worse by how expensive the place was. It definitely was not worth what we paid.

I love Cast Salon and Spa but I especially love Lauren! She has been doing my hair for about 3 years now and I will follow her anywhere she goes. I have long hair and Lauren is the only person I trust with it! She's the best!!

Overall, I felt completely taken care of and had such a positive experience. My cheeks look so natural, lifted, and balanced!! I'm obsessed with the results! My annual skin check with PA-C Michael was quite thorough. He answered my questions and provided explanations as needed. Thankfully nothing suspicious was found. After that, I came back for dermaplaning. It was my first-ever experience with that, and Taylor reviewed everything with me first, explaining what she was going to do and letting me know what to expect. I felt comfortable the whole time, and my skin now looks and feels so much better. All of the people I met during both visits could not have been more kind, caring and helpful.

The first time I came to the Scottsdale office was in early August immediately following an appointment at my primary care physician's office during which he had informed me I needed to consult with a dermatologist for the problem I was having with my skin. She greeted me coldly when I told her I was a past patient of Dr. Lee Laris. I explained that I had been previously referred to him by Heather Thomas, and I had seen him previously at the Phoenix location. Excelling at providing "customer no-service," she informed me that it had been so long since I had seen Dr. Laris that I would now be considered a new patient (though I obviously was not new to the practice), and that even if his his medical team would agree to let him see me (WHAT!?!? Yes, they apparently very mechanically manage and control his schedule for him like in impenetrable force field) that there were no appointments available until January of next year. Keep in mind, she was telling me this in August of 2022 that he would not be able to see me until January of 2023 IF his medical team would even permit it. WTH?!? So we leave it that she is going to check with them and get back to me. I waited a few days. I eventually received a call from Phoenix Skin stating that I would be unable to see Dr. Laris AT ALL, but that they would schedule me to see a different provider at the Phoenix office. I drove the distance to the Phoenix office (I live in north Scottsdale), and I saw the alternate provider. The provider was fine. My issue with my skin was addressed. A F/up was scheduled. I arrived for my follow up on the day my appointment was scheduled approximately 15 minutes early only to be met by the same long-haired brunette and told that there was no appointment for me in her system. I am thinking, "YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING!" So, this gal acts assumes I surely must have gotten the date and/or time of my appointment wrong until she phoned the Phoenix location who had scheduled this follow up appointment for me and confirmed that I was supposed to be seen by her office at the time I had given her since I live closer to that location. They "worked me in" so I did not need to reschedule which was a relief though a bit stressful. That being the case, they acted as though they were doing me a favor as if it was my mistake instead of apologizing for their mistake. In my opinion, that, in itself, was another error in judgement. Provider again was fine during the appointment. I received the care and information I needed. My questions were answered though I felt a bit rushed. Upon checkout, I attempted to purchase a product from a nice enough lady sitting at a check out desk (completely independent of the check in gal and check in counter) which the dermatologist recommended during said appointment. For some ungodly reason this jerk of a check in ... receptionist ... brunette long-haired girl with an attitude interjected, "We don't sell everything the Phoenix location sells!" First of all, I don't care what the Phoenix location sells. I am not present at the Phoenix location today. The dermatologist at YOUR location TODAY asked me to purchase it here TODAY (at the Scottsdale office), and I live 5 minutes from the Scottsdale office. I really have no interest in having to drive all the way back to the Phoenix office ever again if there is any way this can be avoided. Nobody asked for you unsolicited information. You checked me into the office for my appointment. Now please know the limits of your position, stick to the duties of your job description, and stay out of the remainder of my visit. The other gal, the check out lady, proceeded to fetch the product I was directed to purchase by my dermatologist THAT VERY DAY IN THAT VERY OFFICE LOCATION FROM HER PRODUCT STOCK. I was then asked, "It costs over $100, is that okay?!?" How rude. Do I look like I come from the poor house? Did you not notice my Tom Ford sunglasses or my Louis Vuitton bag? $100 makes no difference. Even if it did, the proper and polite thing to do would be to simply charge the consumer for the requested item without issue or incident. If the customer has a problem with the price, believe me, the customer will bring it to your attention ... SO LET THEM ... rather than insulting your customers. There is a definite training need here. I have been quite saddened and disappointed by my repeated mistreatment in this office by the front desk staff. This is quite a shame because the actual doctor and medical assistant did a fine job.

My visit was 5-stars my doctor was kind, thorough, and I trusted her. I paid my copay, was seen quickly, and had a biopsy taken while there. Awesome. My results came back and were delivered to me. Yay. Just about 2 months later, I'm getting bills via email and text from pinnacle dermatology, for the amount of my copay. No description of what it's for or even my name. No account or billing number. I thought it was sketchy so I called the main number. Transferred to billing, and the lady told me that the bill was correct. Um, what's it for? Finally got out of her that it was a separate co-pay for the lab. Ok, am I getting a real bill? She said it's being mailed but they send out the texts and emails first. I tell her ok, I'll pay it if it's legitimate once I receive the real bill, but fyi it's pretty backwards to send electronic bills with no name or info before the bill is mailed. Booking appointments and making any changes that come up has consistently been easy. This year was no exception. We had a few last-minute tweaks, like switching a partial updo to a full updo and changing a shampoo and blowout to a dry style, and they were very accommodating. Group bookings can be tricky, so we really appreciate that flexibility. In the past, they paired you with one stylist for hair and a separate makeup artist, but this time it seemed like the same person handled both services. It was our first experience with this setup. While everyone was happy with how their hair and makeup turned out, there were some conversations about preferring specialists for each service, as many stylists tend to have a stronger focus on either hair or makeup. That said, everything still turned out beautifully, and the receptionists were friendly and welcoming as always. Overall, another positive experience for our group!
