Located at the rooftop of the AC hotel, I love this place! We stopped in for happy hour drinks with my sister to start celebrating my birthday, and it was such a lovely afternoon before heading to a broadway show. The view is beautiful, the service is friendly, and the whole atmosphere feels special without being stuffy. Afterward, we went downstairs to continue happy hour at Boqueria--because apparently one happy hour was simply not enough for my birthday n yes we made it to the broadway show on time!

Some mango drink the bar tender created for me. Delicious!

Only came here for drinks so I can't comment on the food. I really like the esthetic of the place. Can be nice and romantic sitting by the fire place. It was late at night and cooler outside so they had a covered heated terrace. If you walk to the end there's an opening for the view. We sat at the bar. Bianca was an excellent bar tender! I wasn't sure what I was in the mood for to drink so she asked me what type of alcohol I like and what my normal go to drinks were then she created a drink that I highly enjoyed. They were originally out of their night cap drink but by the end of the evening they were replenished and she came through and made it for me. The drinks were delicious! Awesome customer service. Even the host was nice enough to take photos of us. I'm curious to see what it's like with warmer weather and during the day time. I would definitely come back again.

Good view, my server was awesome and so were the bartenders. Great view and vibe. Didn't care for the drinks, then again I ordered off the happy hour menu. Didn't eat anything so can't comment on food.

I attended a professional event at this rooftop venue. Wow. Even on a Tuesday it was super popular! The staff were extremely accommodating, the food was very good( ceviche yummy, tomato soup yummy, the drinks were good, could've used a-little more liquor but I'm not complaining. The view was spectacular, it's kept very clean and picture perfect. The music was great. I think this will be my new favorite rooftop!

Since I was staying at the hotel, I literally just went upstairs to check out the rooftop and I'm glad I did. It's a small but cozy spot with a really nice vibe. I didn't try the food, but the drinks were solid!!! What I loved most was the staff, they were always so friendly and genuinely sweet every time I went up.

We stayed at the AC hotel so we had easy access to this rooftop. A small inconvenience about this place is that there were only two working elevators so it took awhile for us to get up and then back down. The service was phenomenal. Lorenzo was so awesome. He made us cocktails perfectly catered to our preferences and even recommended us tequila to try. He was so kind and made our night very memorable. I got a Bloody Mary cocktail which was made perfectly with drops of hot sauce and adorned with crunchy celery. My boyfriend got a passion fruit cocktail (not sure what the name of it was) and he thought it was very delicious. It's definitely a more intimate setting and didn't seem like a place for high socializing. However, if you want to start off your night somewhere or just bring a few friends, I would recommend this rooftop.

This place has great views and plenty of seating. I feel like it's a bit unknown compared to other rooftops and therefore a great option for a drink and a view. They close a bit early by New York bar standards though.

Five stars if the weather is good. The lounge is located on the top floor of the AC Hotel near Times Square. The views are not as interesting as found at other rooftop lounges in the area. The cocktails are good. Unexpectedly, the Crispy Sea Salt Potatoes were the best dish that we had. The service was attentive.

Super cute rooftop. We simply ordered mock tails during happy hour and returned for a second time in the evening where it was quite lively. The bartenders were attentive in both instances. Great stop if you're staying at the AC hotel or if you're looking to grab a drink before heading to a club/lounge.

Service is just okay, food menu is very limited but the portion size is pretty big for each, and the cocktails here are also just okay. The vibes are good and there is both indoor and outdoor/rooftop area which is heated with comfy seats.

This is a lovely rooftop lounge in midtown on top of the AC Hotel in Times Square. What's nice is that the outdoor patio has an an overhead covering and heat lamps in inclement weather, so it can be enjoyed in all seasons. There is also an indoor bar area. I met a friend for drinks on a Thursday around 5pm during happy hour (Mon-Fri from 4-6pm) and it was still fairly sparsely populated at this hour but filled up later on, though it's not summer yet when it will inevitably get much busier. The drinks are good and strong enough - though a Moscow mule really ought to be served in a copper mug not in a collins glass. The bar menu consists only of light bites, appetizery items, and desserts to sop up your alcohol intake, so no substantial fare. If they could add some flatbread and fries or tater tots, that would be awesome. Service was ok, a little absent at times but friendly. It's a nice space however and a great rooftop lounge option!

Great happy martinis Tuesday prices! Fabulous server who of course in an actor. Great views. Perfect for after a show wind down.

    Are teenagers allowed?

    Yes, until 7pm. After 7 it's 21 and older.

What foods to they have that's good, all I see is everyone talking about drinks?

    Flat bread

    Is vaccination required?

Yes. They do check before you're seated.

Is the outdoor area heated during the winter?

Hello, Thank you for your question. Our patio does have heaters.…

Do they play music here and if so what kind?

While I was here, no indoor seating was allowed, and I don't recall hearing any music outside.

Whats the happy hour like (price wise)?

Unfortunately, there's no happy hour. Regular priced item ranging from $14 to $18 beverages. Great views though!

    Do they have dress code?

We do not have a dress code. Hope to see you soon!

Can't see prices for the cocktails? How much are they priced at? And do they take reservations?

Cocktails there can be around $14-$20 depending on what you get and yes, they do take reservations.

Is it only 21+ at night or can a 20 year old come in? We really want to experience a rooftop restaurant at night!

When I arrived, they checked IDs, but it was a Friday night, so maybe it's more loose during the week

Is there happy hour on the weekend? If so, what time?

If it rains, does anyone know what happens to an outdoor seating reservation?

    Is there an entrance fee?

    No there is not.

Do you need an ID to get in?

No ID is needed to get into the bar, however, an ID is needed to order alcoholic beverages.

It was dark when we entered the coffee shop but an ajar door gave way to the bar. The decor is a homage to the works of Nikola Tesla, which can be seen in the subtle electric theme throughout the space and the naming of the cocktails. The space isn't too large - the bar and stools take up most of the space but they also have some booths/tables. The place looks great. The cocktail menu is very creative - I got one of their seasonal mixes that was actually two drinks in one. The main cocktail was meant to be sipped first and they provided a small glass of beer to be sipped after. The name escapes me but it was very good. Since we had cocktails at dinner, we only stayed for one round. Service was good, and overall I enjoyed my time at Patent Pending. I would definitely return to explore more of their menu.
