Stayed at the hotel for the weekend. Restaurant was nice, but was literally being worked on most nights we were there, loud drilling, Fixing the roof. Just alot of chaos! Menu had many options, Drinks were ok at the bar. Food was ok. Would def stay in this hotel again and def stop into Versa for snacks and bites again. But nothing that was super Wow worthy!

Went here for a Madison Square Garden Group Outing Leader Appreciation Night. Two-hour open bar (beer and wine) and finger food (sliders, tacos, spring rolls, etcetera). Beer was cold, food was okay, just disappointed that the open bar closed 15 minutes early. The bartender said the organizers had reached their spending threshold. Really Madison Square Garden, you couldn't spring for fifteen more minutes?

Coming to Versa is ALWAYS a pleasure. Our vendor always reserves the rooftop and it's much appreciated. Walking through the restaurant, you'll see elegant lighting, comfortable seating, a large bar, and plenty of televisions. The service is top notch. Staff members constantly refilling food selections (cheeses, fruits, angus sliders, chicken tenders, to name a few). There is multiple seating locations throughout the rooftop (booths, chairs, high-top tables, and long sofas). The view is spectacular. From the Empire State Building to 7th Avenue, it's beautiful and only gets better as the evening progresses. Thank you, Versa, for hosting another memorable gathering and I highly recommend it to everyone.

Came here for a quick bite after a comedy show at Comedy Cellar. The rooftop is huge with 3 levels, a full bar, big screen, and Dj on weekends. Let's not forget the great view of the city. The staff was attentive and polite. Very nice artwork in the lobby entrance as well as on the roof. The breeze felt really good as I ordered a BBQ choken flatbread and a glass of Rosè prosecco which the waiter recommended. The flat bread was good.. I would definitely return to Versa. I had heard of it but never been.

Easy to make a reservation. Huge space. Beautiful outdoor patio. Large meal portions.

Stopped by Versa Cocktail Rooftop on a sunny afternoon . Located inside a hotel, I came just for drinks, and the cocktails did not disappoint--perfectly refreshing and summery . The ambiance was sweet amazing rooftop views! And large Terrance We went early, so the vibe was chill and relaxed, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. Definitely a great spot to unwind and soak up the summer vibes.

Beautiful rooftop bar inside the Renaissance Hotel. I see why they are on the list of one of the best sports bar in Nyc. It's huge with plenty of seating and screens, even has a ping pong table. Their happy hour ends at 6pm and drink wasn't great, as why I gave 4 stars. But the cocktail I had after 6pm was delicious, so I definitely come back. A great place for a large party, afterwork. They even have separated rooftop bar, private party area.

Came for a Sirius XM event and was thrilled to get in no problem. The rooftop has spectacular views and a good amount of seating. We really enjoyed our dinner which was reasonably priced. The drinks at the bars though were outrageously overpriced, served in plastic cups and with 20% gratuity automatically added on. Staff was all very nice. Bathrooms were in sore need of attention from the onset (5PM) and had degraded further by the time we left around 8PM...tissue paper on floors, toilets not flushed, soaking wet sink area, etc. Would most likely return, just not for drinks specifically at those prices.

We sat in the canopy section which has rooftop vibes but with fans and rain protection. Really liked the ambiance. Menu is pretty typical American fare, but well executed! Servers were friendly. Versa is not totally outstanding but really agreeable prices in a nice atmosphere. It was a great option for a late dinner after our travel day. Lots of TVs if you're looking for a place to watch a game. The cucumber spa martini was amazing!

I came here to watch the Michigan football game. It's a cute rooftop with a good amount of TVs. Shoutout to Alana for great service all night! I got the Fresa Spritz, cucumber spa martini, and the White Lotus. Everything was very refreshing and great! The White Lotus was a little sweet though. We also ordered food: - pretzel - quesadilla - shishito peppers

The rooftop area of this spot is super cute and has a nice view, and the service here was immaculate. The bathroom is also clean and has nice wallpaper all over. This is a great lounge spot with friends, and I also loved the bites they offer here. The mini veggie tacos were delicious as well as the chicken sliders. The bar also has a selection of drinks to choose from.

Do they do happy hour and if so, what are the hours/deals?

Do i need reservations just to have a drink at the bar or can i just walk in?

If I make a reservation, am I guaranteed to have a table outside? It would be on a monday.

I don't see why not...they were VERY accommodating to me and my party....and we arrived late.....we were sat at the bar until another table was available......and I went on a Friday night in June......so I think you will be good

Could my wife and I bring our three year old son here on. Saturday afternoon? We eat and have a drink or two while he eats?

Not sure about Saturday afternoons specifically, but I ate here on a Sunday early evening (around 6pm) recently & our table had 2 children (8yo & 7yo). While they do welcome kids & families, it seemed more like a restaurant for adults. I recommend… Read more

I was warmly greeted by the gentleman at the door (5 service there), which set a great first impression. However, as soon as I walked downstairs, it felt like the space had lost its speakeasy vibe. I was seated right near the stairs and could feel cold air from outside every time the door opened, which made the experience uncomfortable. I was also surprised to see how much the cocktail menu had been reduced. When I asked about it, the response was that "the place changed a lot." That's fair -- places evolve -- but instead of highlighting the improvements or new strengths, the explanation focused negatively on what the bar used to be. As someone who really enjoyed the former version, that wasn't reassuring. Unfortunately, the drinks themselves didn't make up for it. One of the two cocktails was simply not good. No one came back to check on the drinks, and when I asked for the check after about 20 minutes, there was no acknowledgment that I had barely touched mine or any inquiry about my experience. Overall, a place I once enjoyed and recommended now feels more like a standard dive bar where " Mixologist " were replaced by bartender and were fun cool looking and tasty drinks were replaced by " less complex cocktail ", lacking the warmth and attention to detail that once made it special.

It was dark when we entered the coffee shop but an ajar door gave way to the bar. The decor is a homage to the works of Nikola Tesla, which can be seen in the subtle electric theme throughout the space and the naming of the cocktails. The space isn't too large - the bar and stools take up most of the space but they also have some booths/tables. The place looks great. The cocktail menu is very creative - I got one of their seasonal mixes that was actually two drinks in one. The main cocktail was meant to be sipped first and they provided a small glass of beer to be sipped after. The name escapes me but it was very good. It somehow manages to feel both refined and relaxed at the same time. The kind of place where you half expect to spot Hemingway in the corner pretending not to eavesdrop. We started with half a dozen oysters, which were fresh, briny, and exactly what you want with serious cocktails. Crisp, clean, gone in about three minutes. For drinks, we ordered the Smoke Show and the King Tusk. The Smoke Show was beautifully balanced. The Grey Goose vodka and Dolin Dry gave it that classic martini backbone, but the fino sherry and brine added depth. The smoked olive oil and blue cheese olive brought just enough savory drama without overpowering the glass. It was complex but not fussy. The King Tusk leaned more aromatic and layered. The vermouths gave it richness, while the Buddha's Hand and osmanthus flower added subtle citrus and floral notes that lingered in a really elegant way. It felt like a cocktail designed to be savored slowly. The music fit the mood perfectly, not too loud, just enough to give the room energy without killing conversation. Overall, it's a great spot if you want elevated drinks in a space that feels transportive without being pretentious. Definitely a place I'd come back to when I'm in the mood for a refined, slightly cinematic night out in Flatiron.

We walked in without a reservation around 6:20 p.m., and they were able to accommodate us at a shared table until 7:15. The menu surprised me a bit. Since I associated the address with Eleven Madison Park, I wasn't expecting to see items like wings stuffed with sausage, which were done in partnership with Jungsik. We ordered those along with the mushroom burger and asked them to cut the burger in half for us. The cocktail menu was creative and a little intimidating, with unconventional ingredients like cream cheese and green curry. I went with a fruity Hendrick's-based drink, and my friend ordered the spicy green curry martini. Both were good. Mine didn't taste very strong, but it also wasn't overly sweet because there was enough bitterness to balance it out. The green curry martini was more adventurous but still worked. Service was mixed. There was a woman standing near us, so we tried ordering food with her, but she seemed hesitant to come over. Maybe she wasn't a server or was newer. For drinks, she brought over someone more seasoned, who quickly helped guide us based on our preferred taste profiles. Her suggestions were very good. The mushroom burger was the highlight for me. It was a little salty, but the crispy mushroom and soft bun were a great combination. I honestly wished I had more than half. The wings were okay. They were crispy on the outside and juicy inside, but coated in a Dorito-like powder that made them very messy. Overall, it was a good experience, and I'd come back, especially for the mushroom burger.
