I had been a patient at Castle View Dental for years, but unfortunately my recent experience was very disappointing. I felt pressured to agree to dental work that I did not believe I needed. I also paid $211.74 out of pocket for a cleaning and X-rays, even though my dental insurance indicated those services were covered. I have been trying to get my refund, but the matter still has not been resolved. The office has changed significantly from what it used to be. In the past, I always had positive experiences, but I no longer feel the same level of honesty, transparency, or customer service. I hope the office returns to the quality of care and integrity it once provided. Until then, I cannot recommend this dental practice based on my experience. read more

After I missed an appointment, I had to find another dentist because of my busy work schedule. They do not work Saturdays, which made this not workable. Actually charged me $461 today six months after the procedure. Never told me about this until I switched dentists this past weekend. Petty and spiteful. Didn't both calling me about it or emailing, something. Service for a crown was just poor quality for that procedure. Screwed up the first crown and had to reorder a new one. Avoid at all costs! I agree with Jason T's comment below it is a high pressure sales outlet for dental implants. My daughter went there she is 20yrs old. And we come from a family of RDA's. So we somewhat know what to look for. Unfortunately finding a good and honest dentists office is very few and very rare. Up sale on procedures is a huge problem. U may be getting work done that u didn't even need. So sad that they can even live with themselves knowing they r doing wrong by the patient. My daughter's appt was after her work day at 5pm.They pressured her to get fillings, a deep cleaning, remove wisdom teeth and extract a tooth and get an implant and bone graphing and over $5k out of pocket for a 20 year old who makes little money. So WRONG!!! And they wanted to start all this work right then and there and then tried changing the procedure needed later when she started asking questions. My sister who is a RDA and works patient complaints for a huge dental group was on speaker phone with my daughter the whole time and told my daughter to run out of there. We also know by a previous family Dr. in orthodontics that my daughter has no wisdom teeth at this time. So what were they gonna remove. She didn't see her X-rays nor did they even physically look in her mouth and do a routine check up/cleaning. So she got ripped off her annual check up from them and has now used her benefit for the year with no help from them at all. Now we have to find another dentist and pay for her initial exam again. Shame on this office, the doctors and the staff for trying to pressure a 20 year old young lady to do so much unnecessary work to her teeth. I came in for a simple procedure and was confronted my a sales team who took turns trying to "close" me on $25,000 for implants. When they finally understood that I was not there to take a second mortgage on my home, I left without getting the emergency help I needed. On April 2024, had my first appointmen. I'm a 69 year old mentally disabled retiree. I'm at a stage Wer I'm losing my teeth one by one. I'm on Medicare and have my dental insurance covered thru delta dental. I was examined and as per the evidence they told me that i needed implants. Went thru the process of finding out of if I cud take out a loan to pay for implants . My credit score didnt make me eligible for any type of loan. And so I left the office with that initial Informatio, not very good I wud say. After a few months came back because I lost a teeth and some of those that just fell off left some residual. They were sharp edges that wud occasionally scrape my tongue... causing pain. But the dentist told me the ff: that my all my teeth wud eventually come off because of my age. Secondly he said I cud opt for a cheaper full denture which costs $11000 a lot cheaper than $30000 implant. I asked him if he cud just do something to that residual tooth that were sticking out causing pain. Dentist declined. He said there was no use, and there was nothing he cud do ... it was $11000 or no other way. So I'm moving to another office to see if they can give me a better understanding of wat my choices are. Castleview Dental Care gave me the impression that they are willing to help if you can afford their proposals... if you can't then they wud rather not ...I know most dental offices and dentists are doing wat they can to survive. But people like me are just hoping I cud live my last years of my life with a little dignity... read more

Going to Castleview Dental was without a doubt the best decision I have ever made for my oral health in my entire life I have a pretty typical story. Low income family growing up, little to no adult responsibility for our oral hygiene or care as kids, and then on top of that Type 1 diabetes, stacked teeth, and heavy crowding. At a certain point, there's just no way to save them. I knew I wanted to go for implants. I didn't need to be sold on the idea, just needed to do my research and find the best office with staff I gelled with and a price I could live with. Most places are so superficial about implants, or are literally just trying to sell you something. I've worked in marketing, so the gimmicks were overwhelming most places. Not at castleview dental. They just listened. They heard what I wanted, gave me my options, and sat back to let me decide. Once I became an official patient, the staff were just phenomenal. Always sweet, good natured, perfect bedside manner, amazing senses of humor, and non judgemental. If I wasn't a patient, there are at least a couple of people that I can just legitimately see myself becoming friends with. Added bonus, I have Autism and have always had trouble with dentist noises. Before I even asked about it, they encouraged me to bring headphones to wear while they worked to help reduce anxiety. The last place I went to didnt allow that even with my special needs. To have a place that suggests it for anyone is a huge deal! I have now had both top and bottom implants put in and am in the healing phase. I was going to wait until the end and for my final teeth to be put in before reviewing, but I couldn't wait any longer. I love this place and their staff! I want to give a special thank you to Dr. Fallah, Mike, Yvonne, Nikki, and Rose. I think I am missing someone, so I'll have to add them later. Called Dr Hamidi for a reference / second opinion. Forwarded all dental records and X-rays & they wanted to take their own. Inquired why I needed to be re-exposed and charged again for another full set and they refused without doing their own. I requested that they identify any other format they required and they did not want to discuss it. Disappointed to have wasted the entire morning moving forward. Emphasized reasons for second opinion and all they cared about was a money grab! The staff was curt and rude and the Dr Cameron Hamidi refused to see or consult without me agreeing to an additional full set of X-rays and cat scan. This was the most unprofessional medical experience I've ever had. Don't walk from this place if you are considering them, RUN! The office is old, run down with old equipment, chairs and is not a professionally current practice. The medical background requested would not allow me to enter the data or star it because they are NOT concerned or focused on the details. They entered my birthday as 1906. Therefore I had to contact them after numerous atttempts at entering the data priori to the appt. I received multiple texts, emails and phone calls as reminders about my appt. I asked them to stop and reminded that I would be there. The office was empty and only one patient who left as I arrived. I can see why. I wouldn't be surprised if they haven't had many lawsuits. They tried to give me a root canal on a tooth that had an abscess, tried to charge me to have bone grafts placed where my wisdom teeth were (who gets implants where their wisdom teeth were?!), and 100% take advantage of their young patients and push out of control expensive dentistry and orthodontics on their patients. not to mention the $75 no show fee for not calling 24 hours ahead of time to cancel an appointment. if i wasn't stuck with these people for my orthodontics, i would be long gone. my family even calls them hassle-you dental care. do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else read more

I was very disappointed with Castleview this time. I have been going there for years. They were Excellent in the past, never had any complaints. This time I noticed all different dentist, didn't see the other dentists that were usually there, it has been about a year since I was there last. I came in to get my broken tooth fixed and a checkup for anything else that might be a problem. When they X-rayed my teeth The dentist, a young man, briefly stopped by to look at the results, and proceeded to tell me I had a cavity under my gold crown..this was a red flag for me. I have several gold crowns, and I HAVE NEVER had any problems with my crowned teeth, I have had other places try that on me as well! I decided to get a second openion..I did not mention the results from castle, just got the usual new patient prep, x-rays and what needed to be done to fix my broken tooth. Guess what.. no cavities under my gold crowns..just as I had expected..Be aware, that this is something that is unexceptable, and you should always get a second opinion before spending a fortune for something you don't need to have done! I was there for a toothache and they wanted to charge me for a implant. I wanted to know why my tooth was hurting and the young dentist couldn't even tell me why! He proceeded to let me know that my other tooth needed an implant as well... I was shocked that he couldn't tell me why I was in pain. They tried and tried to have me pay right then and there. The girl upfront wanted me to change my ppo plan to a better one so I would proceed. I asked for amoxicillin and pain medicine which I was given and the pain was gone and never came back! Meanwhile they actually showed me the bill that was going to be $16,000 yes that's right $16k for two implants and a deep clean and my out of pocket 7k crazy!! The whole time I was sitting in the chair they were bumping hip hop music like it was a club castle view ! All the one star reviews on here are on point! If I could give no stars I would .. beware of over charging !! $1,400 for a CLEANING !! Unbelievable .. I am not kidding . I would run from this place .. I went in for pain in my tooth and while I was there they asked me when was the last time I had a cleaning I said right before Covid about 2 years . They asked if I wanted to have a cleaning . I knew my insurance would cover it so I said great I am looking for a new Denist .. they said I would need a deep cleaning because it had been 2 years .. I asked how much would that be in case my insurance didn't pay for all of it . I was verbally quoted $350 .. I agreed and they gave me a cleaning .. 6 months later I get a call saying I had a balance on my account and that I needed to pay it .. I was shocked ! I ask if they could give me an itemized list of charges . The deep cleaning was $350 PER QUADRANT !! I have posted a picture of my bottom teeth to show I have one molar on each side of my mouth .... Not only is this an excessive amount to charge $1,400. ( the cleaning only consist of a water laser and a flossing ., no polishing of the teeth at all ) For my whole mouth let alone someone who has so many teeth missing . And don't forget I also have a 2 bridges on the top portion of my mouth !! ( meaning how less work for them) Talk about taking advantage of someone .. This office is incredibly unprofessional. I made an appointment for my husband for one day and for my son and myself for a different day. The office called and said the doctor wouldn't be available for my husband's appointment and asked to reschedule for later that same afternoon at 5. We accepted and then an hour later they called back and said the doctor wasn't available for that time and could 4:30 work. My husband decided he could leave work a little early to make it happen. When he got there they took X-rays and the dentist looked at them for 30 seconds. They then scheduled my husband for a separate appointment the following week for his cleaning! At no time during the initial 3 calls to repeatedly reschedule his appointment did they mention that they would be doing X-rays only and he would need to come back for a cleaning. Despite these red flags, my son and I decided to keep our appointments for this morning after calling and confirming that they would be able to do our cleanings at the time of our appointments. When we arrived this morning a few minutes before our appointment time (first appointment of the day), not a single employee was wearing a mask. More patients and employees entered also not wearing masks. I realize that the mask mandate has ended, but NOT for medical establishments. I'm at high risk for severe Covid, so I mentioned to the receptionist that everyone was supposed to wearing masks. Her response was, "well, we're technically not open yet." So why is the door open? And why wouldn't you put a mask on when your first patients came in? Why wouldn't you enforce mask use for all patients walking in the door? Covid doesn't care if you don't technically open for 2 more minutes. After her excuses, I decided I would not feel safe removing my mask for my exam since I could not ensure that everyone else would be wearing masks. When I explained to her that I'm immunocompromised and didn't feel safe in the office and wanted to cancel our appointments she again made the excuse that they "were barely even open." After I made it clear that we wouldn't be staying she made a derogatory remark about me to the other patient waiting and they proceeded to laugh at me. Needless to say, we will never be returning to this office. I don't expect people to wear masks everywhere to protect the most vulnerable like me, but I do expect it in medical offices that I have to go to care for my health and in which I will have to be maskless for a period of time for my exam. read more
